The Gladiators finished their regular season with an impressive 17-1 mark. Tonight the playoffs start vs the Phildelphia Soul, 7pm eastern. It's on CBS sports network out here, not sure if it's on a local channel in C Town. If you are in NE ohio, you should go to the game, I think you can get in for $10.

They are fun. I went to a Gladiators game in Columbus, when they had a team, good times. And no, even if the the gladiators win it all, we still haven't won since 64, no easy outs  It does speak nicely to to the positive mojo in Cleveland though

I do. Went to all three chamoinship games. Those were fun times.
I was at one of them at the Convo Center, and it was just a great time. I am not sure which one it was, but I remember we won in game 7(or whatever was do or die game) and we had this insane come back to win it late.
Ended up getting to know Otto Orf pretty well in later years. His daughter Olivia was in Rootstown schools in the same grade as my son for a few years.
