I'm not going through all of the rounds, but I think that it will be New England vs Seattle in the Super Bowl.

Chargers are all but out if their score holds up, and the Eagles are toast.

Had Philly not fallen apart against Washington tonight..

Now Dallas is all but guaranteed a spot.. Unless they completely fall apart..

We are done.

I want SD, KC, and Houston to win this weekend..

The less of the rest of the AFC North in the playoffs the better..

I'd love it if Pitt and Baltimore somehow missed it... and as usual Cincy gets bounced in the 1st round.. Doubtful now..

All I know is the Browns will be sitting comfortably at home again this year. A few will be sipping hot cocoa, a few will be doing shots, and Gordon will be rolling a few doobies.

I like Seattle out of the NFC, especially if they beat Arizona tonight. The AFC, I would like to see INDY, but considering Dallas is handing it to them, it is wishful thinking...I hate saying this, but I would not be surprised to see Pittsburgh come out of the AFC.

Whoever is coming out the AFC. Won't really matter. Seattles D is back to form, and with the offense clicking, they are probably gonna repeat.

People seem to forget that greenbay got mud stomped by Seattle already this season. I don't see that changing.

Guess I'll update mine..

AFC

1. New England
2. Denver
3. Pittsburgh
4. Indianapolis
5. Cincinnati
6. San Diego

NFC

1. Seattle
2. Green Bay
3. Dallas
4. Atlanta
5. Arizona
6. Detroit

Wild Card Round

Pittsburgh vs. San Diego
I'd really like the Chargers to win here.. but this seems like one of those Pittsburgh years where they suck to start out and come on strong late.. SDs defense just isn't good enough.. Unless somehow Cincy upsets Pitt this week and gets the 5th seed..
Pick: Pittsburgh

Indianapolis vs. Cincinnati
Indy might be the best matchup for Cincy to finally get that Playoff win they've been missing forever.. Indy is very flawed.. But at home, I can't pick against Luck and Indy.. Even if they suck..
Pick: Indianapolis

Dallas vs. Detroit
Dallas is looking really good right now.. And while Detroit may have one of the better defenses in the league.. I don't think Stafford is playing well enough for Detroit to matchup..
Pick: Dallas

Atlanta vs. Arizona
If Stanton can come back.. Or Logan Thomas can show ANYTHING this week.. Then I go with Arizona, aka the only of the two with a defense..
Pick: Arizona

Divisional Round

New England vs. Indianapolis
If Indy somehow makes it here.. They get destroyed.. Their only hope is that SD upsets Pitt and they can matchup with Denver (more on them later) but against New England? Won't be pretty..
Pick: New England

Denver vs. Pittsburgh
Manning says he wants to play in 2015.. But I think he's done.. Yeah he's still got the mind, but the body is almost gone.. And while I like their defensive matchup against Pitt.. I think it's another One and Done for Peyton..
Pick: Pittsburgh

Seattle vs. Arizona
Even if Stanton/Thomas show something enough to get this far, they are not match for Seattle's defense right now.. Few are actually..
Pick: Seattle

Green Bay vs. Dallas
As much as I wanna pick Green Bay.. Dallas is on fire right now.. And as much as that tends me to lead to a Tony Romo back breaking Interception.. Not yet..
Pick: Dallas

Conference Championship

New England vs. Pittsburgh
Ugh. This makes me sad.. Because I like watching football games.. But not this one.. Can the stadium be blown up? I'll go with the lesser of two evils..
Pick: New England

Seattle vs. Dallas
A rematch of one of the best games of the year.. Which Dallas won.. Which obviously leads to Seattle coming out on top.. just in time for a Tony Romo back breaking Interception..
Pick: Seattle

Super Bowl

Seattle vs. New England
Seattle's Defense right now is top notch.. and the offense isn't even at top form right now.. If they can get there.. I'm not saying another 43-8 Super Bowl.. But I don't think it'll be close late..
Pick: Seattle

My hope is that none of NE, Pitt, Cincy, or Dallas make the Super Bowl.. I enjoy the game much more when I don't necessarily have to root against a team due to different levels of hatred..

I suspect they may even get a playoff win this year.

It's hard to predict that when Dalton is your QB, but I dont think Browns fans have suffered enough.

We need another kick in the teeth.

I'll probably make a prediction once everything is set, but for the first time in a long time, I really don't care that much about the playoffs this year.

I know we don't ever make it, and I'm used to that, but this year stung even more. Not just because I wanted Manziel and then saw what Manziel currently is...

There was just so much promise this year. Such a nice start. Things weren't always great, but this team found a way to hang in there and win games, and whatever happened between the end of the Bengal game in Cincinnati, and the Buffalo game, this team lost it.

I've heard a lot of the old guard call in sports talk shows and blame it on Gordon, but really, this started before he came back. They were atrocious in the Houston game and pretty much have looked that way since, outside of some plays in the Atlanta game.

I do think Seattle can repeat this year. They seem to be coming together again, at the perfect time. And again, they weren't bothered by having their center miss time. I hate that excuse. I know Alex Mack is one of the best at his position, but good teams overcome that.

I know the feeling.

Every time I've brought up the Playoff Machine, or looked at the standings these past 3-4 weeks it just depressed me..

Even after the Pitt and first Cincy game I didn't think we'd have gone far in the tournament..

But just the idea that were had it all in our grasps.. and crapped it all away..

Ugh.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh
Pick: None. I despise both teams. But I hope a rogue black hole absorbs the entire stadium....

Cincinnati at Indianapolis
Pick: I don't know why but I have a feeling the Bengals may squeak this one out. Probably wrong. Sure wouldn't bet on it....

Detroit at Dallas
Pick: Dallas

Arizona at Carolina
Pick: Arizona. I think Arizona will surprise us this game. They can play some D. We made a SERIOUS mistake not hiring Bruce Arians last year. That guy can COACH.

Amen. Really thought we might, but we crapped out on like three gut checks. We gave a few of those teams hard times. But we need to get more out of what we have.

Maybe next year, with a crushing sense of deja vu all over again.

Seattle over Arizona

Divisional Round

The Colts are like the perfect matchup for Cincy to finally get that playoff win.. But if AJ Green can't go then I don't see them having enough offense...

I think Pittsburgh will destroy Baltimore.

Carolina is coming in hot, have a solid defense, and Cam is healthy-ish. I don't think Arizona can get enough offense, so unless their defense scores I think Carolina will advance..

Dallas is spitting hot fire right now.. Detroit doesn't stand a chance..

I'm looking forward to seeing the Bengals vs. Colts game on Sunday and then the Lions vs. Cowboys game.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the Cardinals vs. Panthers game, or the Ravens vs. Steelers game.

My predictions for the 2014 post season.

Wild Card...

Bengals @ Colts - Colts Win 27-23
Lions @ Cowboys - Cowboys Win 31-23
Cardinals @ Panthers - Panthers win 17-9
Ravens @ Steelers - Bane shows up and destroys the stadium

Divisional Round...

Colts @ Patriots - Patriots Win 38-28
London Silly Nannies @ Broncos - Broncos Win 31-24
Cowboys @ Packers - Cowboys Win 34-31
Panthers @ Seahawks - Seahawks Win 23-10

Conference Championships...

Broncos @ Patriots - Patriots Win 34-31
Cowboys @ Seahawks - Cowboys Win 23-20

Superbowl...

New England Patriots 27
Dallas Cowboys 21

This isn't looking like a fun Super Bowl that I can just sit and enjoy like last season...

Especially if specific matchups (NE/DAL, PIT/DAL) happen..

I really don't wanna have to root for Dallas.. or New England... *shudders*

To cut the story extremely short, I'll just predict the bread and butter:

Superbowl:

NE and Seattle, with the Seahawks getting back-to-back rings. Especially if Seattle gets the home advantage.

While Carolina is hot right now, let's look at who their 4 game streak has come against .....

They beat NO, 41-10
They beat Tampa Bay, at home, 19-17
They beat us, at home, 17-13
They beat Atlanta, 34-3

Those teams, overall, went 3-13 over the final 4 weeks. It's not like they beat Green Bay, New England, Seattle and Dallas. (or even Arizona with a 3rd string QB)

They're on a streak regardless.

A winnable home game against a struggling Arizona team..

Do I think they can then go in to Seattle and win? Doubtful. In Green Bay? Depends on which Rodgers shows up honestly..

I'm not saying they're a threat. But I have little doubts they could beat Arizona.

I also think they could implode.

*shrugs*
