Carolina looks like they've won already and Arizona don't really belong in the playoffs.

Newton looks so comfy in the pocket, appears he could take a little nap if he so desired.

Man, that last series shows just how bad a dropped pass can be...Benjamin drops a ball that hits him in the hands [allows it to hit his body like so many these days] at the 10 {first down} and he drops it. Instead of first and goal, FG attempt and wide left...no points.

I'm glad they did. A team with the same record as the Browns 1.) Should not have earned the "right" to even be in the playoffs, 2.) have the home field advantage, and 3.) Move to the next round....

Winning your division, no matter the record, SHOULD give you a home playoff game, Nevermind playing one.

If you took that away, there is NO reason to even attempt to win the division. Might as well not even have divisions.

On top of that, you better go ask the saints about those 7-9 Seahawks who MUD STOMPED the saints in the playoffs, oh, who by the way, had a better record than the Seahawks.

So, if Atlanta had won last week they truly "earned" a playoff game in their house?

My logic is this:
1.) They don't deserve to be there.
2.) It will end up showing.
3.) If they win, it will be one and done...

If atlanta won, that means they would've went 6-0 in division games.

My whole point was this:
Division leader or not, they don't deserve to host a playoff game. A fourth seed should have a better record than a fifth (Arizona 11-5, Carolina 7-8-1).
I'm not trying to continue to argue the point. Carolina barely deserved to get in and they shouldn't be hosting a game.
Hopefully, they will lose and it becomes a non-issue moving forward.

And I agree with cfrs, get rid of divisions....

There's no way Arizona wins this. When your only form of offense is the other team making mistakes, you're in serious trouble.

Lindley is truly horrible. But Newton has been awful as well. At least the Panthers have a run game.

You are right though, if the Panthers lose this game they have no one to blame but themselves.

It's a good formula when the other team is consistently making the mistakes lol. Carolina needs to come out here and have a better second half, no doubt about it.

With the way Newton is throwing I would just run it every play. They are gashing the Cardinals with the read option.

If Carolina scores a TD I think this is done. Arizonas defense and special teams can't keep protecting that offense.

You're absolutely right. With a 2 possession lead against Ryan Lindley I'd just put the RB with best ball security out there and not even think about throwing. Don't even try to field kicks.
