Tired of hearing how great Seahawk fans are. We are just as passionate. Our team isn't winning so no one cares about Browns fans.
Yea I'm jealous that the Seattle Seahawks, which use to be a losing franchise, is going to another SB while our team continues to flounder. Maybe someday it will be our turn.

As I was watching the games yesterday I was thinking how great it would be to see us playing in a title game. I'm in Patriots territory and I tell them all the time how lucky they are to have a winner year after year. One can dream.

Has someone said we're not passionate fans? If not, moot point.

I just want to preface this by saying I'm not lumping all Seahawks fans into this..
But they did the same thing Heat "fans" did.. left a playoff game they were losing early.. And then complained they couldn't get back in when their team came back...
There is a lot of talk that most of Seattle's fans are "bandwagon" fans.. And I don't think that's fair.. Every fan base has them.. You just see it more with a team that came on suddenly and was winning SBs within a few years..
Makes me feel bad for people that were there during the Charlie Whitehurst era.. And stuck through..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Makes me feel bad for people that were there during the Charlie Whitehurst era.. And stuck through.. How about being there for the Jim Zorn years? Dave Kreig? When your only highlight for years was watching Curt Warner for a few seasons, you really do qualify as a diehard. Personally, I'm enjoying this team. Now, we have to work on the Browns. I'd love it if both were doing well at the same time: winners in both conferences.

I didn't notice a lot of cheering from the fans when the Seattle offense was snapping the ball. Browns fans could learn a thing or two from that.

I'm not that old When your only highlight for years was watching Curt Warner for a few seasons, you really do qualify as a diehard. Im not saying Seattle doesn't have a large number of bandwagon fans that probably couldn't name the RB moans QB on the 05 SB team.. but I feel like other teams fans just assume every Seattle fan is one.. and that's just silly.. Personally, I'm enjoying this team. Now, we have to work on the Browns. I'd love it if both were doing well at the same time: winners in both conferences. I think a Cleveland/Detroit SB would be an awesome experience..

I am just tired of Seattle Players talking about the detractors, lack of respect and haters etc, etc, etc, ....
You are the defending Super Bowl Champions, and got a return visit. Those who dislike you do it because your mantra of the underdog has worn itself out, not because they think you are a bad team.
Many of the demons you create are those of your own making for your own motivational purposes.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

There seems to be a common theme between the correlation between how quickly a team becomes good, and how much people hate on them.. Houston was seen as a contender for a couple years, and seemed to be ready to take that next step, and got good press and people tended to root for them.. Seattle, while making the SB in 05, then feel back to obscurity.. made the playoffs at 7-9, and then boom two years later wins a SB and everyone hates them.. The flip side of that is Cincy these past four years. No one roots for Cincy.

Given the amount of hate people have piled on us, media and other "fans", well, if there is a correlation like you mention, we are gonna be insanely good.

Has someone said we're not passionate fans? If not, moot point. Actually the media doesn't mention Browns fans at all. They keep saying Seahawk fans are the greatest fans in the NFL. Is it because of the 12th man thing or because their team is now winning?

Fans like us stick with this team no matter what. We've probably had the least success of any franchise since the merger yet we still have a rabid fan base. I know here in New England they are fair weather fans. They had a bad game against KC and they wanted to get rid of everyone. Try having bad games for 25 years. Some teams won more playoff games this season than we have since 1990. Let's put other teams fans to that test.!!

I was a season ticket holder for the Seahawks for 8 seasons. Technically I still am since the account is in my name. So, I like to think I have a little experience and knowledge here.
Seattle fans are not the greatest fans in the NFL. The may be passionate (some to most are), they may be loud (no question about that), but they are not the greatest fans. My guess is because of the loudness and they are winning. If the team started going .500 or worse, would they sell out? Unlikely.
