I would put absolutely NONE of those guys above Hoyer. Definitely NOT Sanchez.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Agreed. BUT, in some people's minds, that makes me a Hoyer lover. Why take on some other teams retread that's had no to limited success? Continuity - the Browns aren't good at it - but they also haven't tried it.

The last four to five games, his mechanics, his attitude.. have soured me on Hoyer..
If I could bring in a guy like Ponder, who I equate to being a younger, more mobile version of Hoyer, with possibly a slightly better arm.. I would..
Ryan Mallett still has all the potential in the world. And a live arm.
I think Sanchez and Hoyer are on pretty much the same level, and would bring in whomever was ok with what is most like going to be a "You have to CLEARLY beat out Manziel" situation.. sadly..
Overall, if the Philly/Mariota rumors come true, I would love Nick Foles. Tall. Big arm. Accurate. Mobile. Behind our line? Yes.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I didn't read through all 5 pages of the thread but considering how accurate this scouting report was on Manziel the first thing I'd do if I was Haslam would be to give this guy a call and offer him a job especially if he is the known "leak" and is out of the Patriots organization.

Good point. New England was all over it, but the morons in our FO couldn't figure it out.
Combine that w/the latest article about the Browns knowing that Manziel was a head case and marketing was behind the drafting of Manziel, and it makes the Browns look even more ignorant.

I said it before, he is THE BEST PROSPECT we ever had drafted for QB. ! Off the top of my head, Couch and Weeden had better odds to make it at the pro level. I'd love Couch on today's team!
