I don't see Rivers as a fit. We have three playable inside linebackers, two of them on very cheap contracts.

My question is this, is Bradford still an awesome talent after his knee was shredded twice? It's questionable... it's questionable whether he could stay on the field long enough to convince people. Someone said it best, Jeff Fisher is going to get canned because he just won't let go of the hope Bradford will stay healthy.

Link So the Cardinals overpaid Larry Fitzgerald because warm fuzzies. They are still in cap hell and probably won't be able to re-sign many of their free agents.

NFL notified teams today that it expects this year's salary cap to be between $140 and $143 million, at least $1.5M higher than projected. Schefter This doesn't really help us to a large extent because we already have a ton of cap room. It mostly helps the teams that are going to be above the cap or need a little breathing room.

My question is this, is Bradford still an awesome talent after his knee was shredded twice? Shredded. Is that a real analysis or a colorful adjective to make it sound worse. To me McGahee Schredded his knee in that Miami U game. Palmer shredded his knee in that Steeler playoff game.
I'm not a doctor nor am I his doctor. If the surgery went well he should well on his way into his recovery and rehab.
Like Hoyer this season I was cringing all season luckily he didn't get hit hard often.
I think we would see him run just about as often as Hoyer ran...almost none at all.
If your question is - IF HEALTHY from his surgery Is Bradford still and Awesome talent. Answer: I'm sure he will have to get some rust off and also take a hit sometime to be back to a comfort level. But yes, if healthy he still will be awesome.

Bradford tore his ACL on grass both times. He is fragile, a change of scenery won't help that.
It is a moot point anyway, Fisher is going down with the Bradford ship.
Who will the Rams hire as head coach their first season in L.A.? Grudges seems like a good fit for that scene. That's the reason I put (?) after my statement about art. turf/grass. I didn't look to see where the injuries occurred. Also with change of scenery, my point was having a better line to protect him. Of a few sites I looked we were ranked higher than STL. We gave up 30 sacks to 47 for STL. Sure many variables in that, injuries (like Mack), different QB's, offenses, how long the QB held onto the ball and etc. Either way, I would still think (imo) that we have better line than them. One other thing, I know it doesn't take a sack to have an injury. Just like his was a pressure hit from Armonty Bryant and Hoyer's scrambling injury.

Got it. I like Sam Bradford. I think he is/was very talented. I don't think we should rely on someone has proven over and over that he can't stay healthy.
With all that said, I would take Sam Bradford over every available free agent QB.

SB is the most talented qb out there but he is too much of a risk. We have bad luck with guys who have an injury history. Even guys who didn't have an injury history developed one here and were never the same. If SB comes here I'm afraid it will be more of the same. JMO

Tried to get more details on his recovery all I got was Sept 10th I believe was the surgery and it was successful. SB will be ready for training camp.
Also yesterday there was a report made by our buddy LaConfora saying that the Rams asked SB's agent to test trades out there. This was immediately shot down by the GM stating SB not on their roster is not an option.
on the 9th is states anonymous NFL execs at the top of the Draft state they would take Bradford over Winston or Mariota...but talking in terms of him being a FA (released)
Last year of the contract and they are trying to lesson the blow for 2015 I guess the only way is to negotiate an extension.

The Panthers cut DeAngelo Williams and the Colts cut Ricky Jean-Francois. I am not interested in either player.

the funny part about that Eo is that just this week, the Rams HC was saying they are counting on Bradford.
Go figure

The Cardinals cut Ted Ginn Jr. People around here seem to like the idea of signing local guys, and Ginn is a local guy that also fills an obvious need (kick/punt returner).
I don't think he can be relied upon as a receiver.

We certainly do need a KR/PR. And Ginn is a better WR than Benjamin.

He's also a more sure returner than Benji ..also highly agreed he's a better wideout in addition...Benji is one player I hope is involved in a draft day trade...even if its just to move up several spots in a later round...He is the lone player I worry about every single time they have the ball in their hand...wait then again I feel this way with Crow and West too...damnnnn lol

Just heard on the radio AJ Hawk was cut. I just read the same. Officially he failed a physical, bone spurs in his ankle(s?) Question, does a 31 yr old, 85% AJ Hawk improve the Browns?

With Kansby and an improving coverage LB in Kirksey...I don't think so. Unfortunately I think his best days are past him.

This morning on ESPN Radio they announced Wallace, Tamba Hali, among some others that were cap casualties today. Was in another thought process at the time - no news on that?

I hadn't heard eiether of those. I did hear that Wallace was on the trading block and likely to be released if no offers but was not aware that it actually happened.

Per rotoworld.com at 10:00 am 2/26
When asked about Mike Wallace, Dolphins VP of football operations Mike Tannenbaum said he's under contract "for now."
That's not much of an endorsement. The Dolphins are shopping Wallace, but should quickly find that his massive salary is a deal breaker for most teams. Miami Herald reporter Armando Salguero says his "educated guess" after talking to "team and league sources" is that Wallace will not be back with the Dolphins in 2015.He signed a five-year, $60M deal with the team just two years ago.

I will be incredibly surprised if anyone trades for him with that albatross of a contract. The worst is over with, but still, he is due almost $10 million this year, and over $11 million next year. A team has to be pretty sure that Williams will redo his deal in order to trade for him.

+ 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, 11 or so seasons in coming off I believe an ACL injury? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he tore his ACL in the preseason game (*edit*, Google has confirmed this) and missed the entire 2014 campaign.. How is he? Plus, honestly - I think the man is going to take a pay cut and go back to Arizona IMO.

Jason Worilds (spelling) from the Steelers is going to test the FA market. I wouldn't mind snatching him from Pittsburgh

Jason Worilds (spelling) from the Steelers is going to test the FA market. I wouldn't mind snatching him from Pittsburgh I agree, if it is possible. The article I just read makes it sound like the Steelers are doing what the Browns did with Alex Mack last year, let him test the FA market to determine his value, then match the offer. I suspect he will be a (richer) Steeler come fall.
