The radio here, a Pittsburgh station, says they want him back, but don't want to over pay him. If I'm Farmer, I move in for the steal.

I'd rather go after Hughes from Buffalo or draft someone. Worilds has put up sack totals of 8 and 7.5 the last 2 years as the main guy and for someone that is gonna want over $10 mill a year that's not enough production for me. That is more then what we are paying Kruger.

Andre Johnson allowed to seek trade

Johnson is a little older, but I would take him in a second. I don't see anyway he would want to play for us.

I agree. Johnson will want a shot at the Super Bowl. Three teams come to mind Denver, Seattle, and New England.

Potential landing spots for former Texans WR Andre Johnson

With Josh Gordon suspended again, new quarterback acquisition Josh McCown needs someone to throw the ball to besides 5-foot-7 Andrew Hawkins. If Johnson signed with Cleveland, he’d immediately become the best receiver on the roster. It’d be a major coup for general manager Ray Farmer, but would Johnson be interested?

If we threw the bank at Johnson he might sign, but it would take lots of these...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I don't know about Andre. Obviously he's going to expect $. I think I'd rather see them move up a few spots to get one of the top three WR in the draft. Big money for not-so-fresh legs doesn't seem promising.

Besides I read four teams he is eyeing up, and they're all contenders.

Pretty safe to say Farmer wants compensatory picks. We've only signed guys that were released. We're now going after 2 WRs that were released.

Trent Richardson: “My next step, I’ll be the starter”

Hours after he was released by the Colts, Trent Richardson insisted that he has plenty of good football left in him.

Richardson told Mike Wells of ESPN that Colts General Manager Ryan Grigson is to blame for Richardson’s inability to make things work in Indianapolis.

“Me and the GM didn’t see eye to eye. My next step, I’ll be the starter. Indy didn’t fit me,” Richardson said.

Richardson acknowledged that he was fined repeatedly for being overweight, although he says he was only three pounds heavier than the 227 pounds the Colts asked him to weigh.

“I was continually fined for being 230 pounds,” Richardson said.

That raises the question of why Richardson didn’t just lose the extra three pounds to keep his bosses happy and keep his money. And Richardson’s attitude raises questions about whether he understands just how bad he was in Indianapolis. The reality is that there’s no way any team is going to bring Richardson in to be the starter, and if he signs for backup money somewhere else, he’s going to have to prove himself in minicamps, training camp and the preseason or else he’s not going to make a team at all.

Unless Richardson is planning to play Arena Football, his chances of being a starter are slim. And he may not play another down in the NFL.

There's always an "excuse".......I was supposed to weigh X, and I weighed X plus 3 lbs.

I couldn't make the flight because of X.

I couldn't run in Cleveland because of X.

I couldn't run in Indy because of X.

Lesson to be learned:

Never draft prospects who were very big stars in College before they get to the NFL because their head is even bigger than the league already.

Good thing we drafted Manziel, lol

There would be if Holmy the Clown came out of retirement. He was the best ever RB in Holmy's eyes.

Funny how people change their mind now about the guy. When the trade went down most people were ready to jump off a bridge crying and sobbing like little girls.

He should have a lot of it left in him, he didn't use much of it yet.

Without a doubt it's Trent. And if anyone follows me here, they'd know I'm not high on Weeden at all.

We have 10 draft picks this year.

And could end up with 10 or 11 draft picks in 2016 as well.

If you're really building through the draft, that's the way to go...
