I really, really don't want a version of a dawg for a logo ... but I have a feeling that's what we'll get
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I've always hated that whole dawg persona with the pound and dog biscuits. It's ridiculous.

This will be another test for Haslam's credibility. I distinctly remember him saying that the helmet will remain orange. No way, man! Haslam never said that! It was LaCanafora making stuff up after Shanny ratted on the Browns about the uniforms!!! I hate those guys! I hate them so bad! They are the ONLY problem concerning the Browns! We are a team of DESTINY!!!! I dont get any of this but anyway... I believe haslam told Randy Lerner as a condition of purchase he would not put a logo on the helmet.... no mention of not changing the hue of the color.

Why would I want to root for Buffalo, everything there is wide right.

Why would I want to root for Buffalo, everything there is wide right. What's worse, never making the SB.. or making 4 Straight and never winning one?
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I do not mind the whole Dawg theme. It is time to embrace it. Toss that silly elf aside.
Over the past 30 years it has become synonymous with the Cleveland Browns and NFL Football. We are at Dawgtalkers of course. There is no other NFL team with a dog as a mascot, and it is about the best that you can do with being named after a person.
Minnifield and Dixon should be smiling.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

Here's what Phil Taylor just posted on Instagram. That's from that website that redid everyone's helmet.. Not real.. Not bad though.... Not bad at all.

It looks like a College Football Nike "Pro Combat" Helmet..
Boise State was one of the first that go the "huge logo on one side" of the helmet look started.. then it blew up from there.. Part of their "Combat" series or whatever..

Not shooting the messenger, but that's god awful. No offense taken. I'm not sure what I think of it to be honest except for the fact it looks better that the other renditions I've seen. However, some responses to it on twitter have been favorable. But I think it is just another fan design.

Actually, I like that. I don't want the helmet changed,(beyond the color and finish) but if they were changing the helmet, that wouldn't be bad. Do it with a darker orange, and it might be really cool. Of course, they have already said that they are not changing the helmet except for shades and finish of the colors. It will still be an orange helmet with brown and white stripes.

can we just get some real cheerleaders?
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

I could live with that one. Remove the brown from the back and make it all orange and I could like it.

I like it except for the brown that looks like mud splashes.

How about a chrome traditional Browns helmet? That would be cool.

That's basically the earlier one without the brown splash on the back..
And I really like it.

Yep, I like that one a lot better than the one w/the Brown stuff on it. LOL
I was trying to decide if I liked the earlier one. I went w/it, but the Brown stuff bothered me. I really like the latest version.

Also, I really hope this new logo they're debuting next Tuesday isn't just a redoing of the "Helmet Logo"..
While I'm not that interested in a Dog or Elf based logo.. It'd be nice to buy gear that doesn't have a 2D Helmet picture on it..
Ironically I always hated the <B> logo thing they came up with in the Butch era..

I love that. It is about as close to perfect as can be, in my opinion.
