I figured since mocks are hitting the board, this might come in handy. You pick the team, number of rounds, have 5-6 options of what big board you want to use. I usually use the composite board.

Have fun

Glad top see Tull getting some more love. In reality he will probably go in the 4th. He will shoot up the boards. His pro day was on Tuesday. He didn't run at the combine but killed everything else. At the pro day he ran 4.57 which puts him near the top in speed at his position.

Davis Tull is my official sleeper....has been as well. The kid can play.

Wow. This was fun....

I used their big board integrated into their website and this is how our draft went....

#12 - Jameis Winston QB/Florida State (No trades, he just dropped).
#19 - Ereck Flowers OT/Miami
2nd - Xavier Cooper DT/Washington State
3rd - Nelson Agholor WR/USC
4th - Shaq Mason OG/Georgia Tech
4th - Nick O'Leary TE/Florida State
5th - Corey Crawford DE/Clemson
6th - Jake Ryan OLB/Michigan
6th - Max Garcia C/Florida
7th - Justin Manton K/UL Monroe

This would be a STELLAR draft...Literally hits EVERY need we have.

Honestly, do you guys not feel like rubes using this thing? I used to think their algorithm and rankings were just terrible, but I realized last year it's just rigged. They give you completely unrealistic options when you draft so you can show what a great draft you pull off, will share it with other people, then they will come to the site to use their system, and they make money off the ads. It's kind of genius, but I just have to roll my eyes at these mocks that show us getting Jameis or Cooper or Fowler... I mean do you really think those guys will be there at 12? Sorry if this offends anyone, I like all you guys, it just kinda drives me nuts.

Not really. At least any more of a rube then sitting there and simply making picks. It is what it is. I think everybody knows that the real draft never looks like any of the mock drafts or projections.

That's true, I guess it's just all in fun. It's not like you really have to prepare to do a real draft, we're all fans. I'll keep it to myself. My bad.

Not bad at all. I mostly agree.

I just ran a 4 round draft picking for the Titans just to see how the Browns drafted without my input or desire.

Alvin Dupree
Landon Collins
Dorial B Green
Jay Ajaji
Stephone Anthony
Andy Gallik.

I don't think we would go the safety, though it is a good pick, nor do I think we would go RB that early.

Anthony is the only one I think is a bad pick.

Just for fun Steve. I don't think anyone would take these auto-mocks seriously but it gives some folks, like me, who don't have the time to put into a serious mock, a chance to play too.

You make some very good points.

I understand it's 110% unrealistic. This one had Amari Cooper dropping to 30th.

It's just for fun. Good way to kill 5 minutes at work. tongue

They also have Manage the Cap, where you can cut players, offer contracts to free agents, etc.... It'd be cool if they combined the two and allowed for trades (using the trade value chart or something legit)

First off, I want to say that this thing is hilariously bad. With that said, it is also very fun.

I would like to share my picks (with analysis):

12: R1P12
FB JALSTON FOWLER ALABAMA

Analysis: My favorite player in the draft. I couldn't risk some other team taking him because then I would cry. He reminds me of a rhino crossed with a bulldozer.

19: R1P19
TE MAXX WILLIAMS MINNESOTA

Analysis: When you have the chance to take a player with two Xs in his name you have to do it. I just hope he doesn't making a diving catch across the middle of the field when his QB overthrows him, leading to a concussion. People will turn on him quickly if that happens.

43: R2P11 WR NELSON AGHOLOR USC

Analysis: My favorite receiver in the draft. Runs good routes, is pretty fast, not small.

77: R3P13
WR TY MONTGOMERY STANFORD

Analysis: No one likes him besides me. Plus, he went to Stanford and is black. That means he is smart.

108: R4P12
CB NICK MARSHALL AUBURN

Analysis: I saw him play a bunch of national TV. He was a QB then and was pretty good.

112: R4P16
P KYLE LOOMIS PORTLAND STATE

Analysis: I think Spencer Lanning is not good. I don't know who this person is or if he is good. Kyle could even be a woman. I literally don't know. I just know that he was listed as a punter.

139: R5P11
WR GEORGE FARMER USC

Analysis: Very talented. Might be better a CB. Purely a project.

173: R6P13
OT D.J. HUMPHRIES FLORIDA

Analysis: This is so dumb.

DE DARYL WAUD WESTERN ONTARIO

Analysis: I felt like we needed a Canadian on the team. I am pretty sure this Western Ontario is in Canada, although I really don't know. Also, the Canadians need to redeem themselves after the Danny Watkins debacle. This is their chance.

204: R7P12
RB MALCOLM BROWN TEXAS

Analysis: I am hoping people will think this is the defensive player with the same name from the same school.

Paul Pozluszny is not a free agent.

The Skrine and Dan Williams deals are absurd.

You got a 2nd round to go from 12 to 13 lol

I've never done one of the Sim drafts...

1a.Danny Shelton DT

1b. Jalen Strong WR

2. Bendarick McKinney- I think he can play multiple LB spots

3. Tevin Coleman RB- best player, and just a favorite of mine

4. Bryce Petty QB

4b. Daryl Williams OT

5. Nick O'Leary TE

6. Andy Gallik C

6b. Shaq Riddick OLB

7. Damorious Russell S

Pretty fun...yet the projections seemed off...Danny Shelton was the #28 best player...I think a lot of my picks would be gone a round earlier or two.

I was just doing this for fun. I used the Drafttek big board. Past the first 3, I was just picking names until I specifically targeted Ficken in the 7th.

12: R1P12 MARCUS MARIOTA, QB, OREGON
19: R1P19 MAXX WILLIAMS, TE, MINNESOTA
43: R2P11 JAELEN STRONG, WR, ARIZONA ST
77: R3P13 GABE WRIGHT, DT, AUBURN
108: R4P12 JOSUE MATIAS, G, FLORIDA ST
112: R4P16 TYLER LOCKETT, WR, KANSAS ST
139: R5P11 STEVE NELSON, CB, OREGON ST
173: R6P13 COREY CRAWFORD, DE, CLEMSON
186: R6P26 MAX GARCIA, C, FLORIDA
204: R7P12 SAM FICKEN, PK, PENN STATE

I ran it again, to change the 108, and I got a completely different set of choices from the top.

I didn't think so, but they show him as one. Sam Bradford too. I don't recall the "offer" made to Skrine and Williams or how those cap numbers came up. I think Skrine was 5m a year and Willliams 6.

I know on the trade, as soon as the site showed me as the 13 pick, it had SF offering a 1st and 2nd as well, to move down 2 spots.

This is why these sites are to be used for fun only smile

I ran it again, this time using FanSpeak's big board. Again, Mariota fell to me at 12 (is that a sign?) I got Parker @ 19, and for the rest, I tried to follow a best value at positions of need, selecting names I have seen others talk about when I could. I couldn't pass on a guy named Shaquille Riddick, and again I like PK Ficken as my last pick.

12: R1P12 MARCUS MARIOTA, QB, OREGON
19: R1P19 DEVANTE PARKER, WR, LOUISVILLE
43: R2P11 XAVIER COOPER, DT, WASHINGTON STATE
77: R3P13 NELSON AGHOLOR, WR, USC

Have you guys tried www.first-pick.com? I prefer it..... gives options to trade and generally moves a bit quicker. Gives you easy access to nfl.com scouting reports too.

I like the first pick but at times it comes up with some off the wall trades and grades ( I just did a mock and it wanted to trade me something like a 1st round #13, 2nd round #14 and 3rd round #15 to move up to the 12th pick in round 1) . For some reason my computer doesn't like the fan speak. So here was my draft.

Round 1 Pick 12: Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
Round 1 Pick 19: T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh
Round 2 Pick 11: Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State
Round 3 Pick 13: Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State
Round 4 Pick 12: Kwon Alexander, OLB, LSU
Round 4 Pick 16: Ben Koyack, TE, Notre Dame
Round 5 Pick 11: B.J. Finney, C, Kansas State
Round 6 Pick 13: Deshazor Everett, CB, Texas A&M
Round 6 Pick 26: Tre McBride, WR, William & Mary
Round 7 Pick 12: Justin Manton, K, Louisiana-Monroe

I am not a fan of Finney. I watched him on draftbreakdown.com and saw a guy who was just okay in pass protection but got bull rushed too easily and in the run game he got zero push.Personally, I wouldn't look at him even as an UDFA.

My favorite center is Gallik BC

For late round guys that I like:
David Andrew Georgia
Collin Rahring Indiana

Clevesteve seems to like Max Garcia from Florida. I haven't gotten around to watching him yet.

Updating on Finney...when watching the combine, Finney looked really like a jelly donut more so a football player lol... The center class is odd this year, as the rankings are all over the place...I like Gallik and Garcia...And really never paid attention to Oregon's Center despite watching several of the big games the past couple years.

I like Gallik as my number two center. Erving is my top but I like him as a tackle, too. I'd much rather use a 4th or 5th on Gallik or Garcia than a 1st on Erving to play center.

This is my ranking of the guys I like:

1) Cam Erving, FSU -- Only watched him at C vs. Georgia Tech and Oregon but he was completely dominant there.
2) Andy Gallik, BC -- He looked like the perfect ZBS center against USC. He was a grad student at BC so he's probably smart as well.
3) Max Garcia, Florida -- He is just so powerful. A real people mover at the center position. He showed it at the senior bowl, too, repeatedly stoning Shelton in one-on-ones. Not sure if I should move him ahead of Gallik now that we are going to gap scheme instead of ZBS. I don't know enough to say that for sure.
4) Dillon Day, Miss St -- Very strong and active center, finds people to block downfield. Miss St running game took a big hit when he was suspended for stomping on those LSU guys.
5) Hroniss Grasu, Oregon -- He's not a great drive blocker like some of these other guys, but he has very quick feet to put himself into position to be effective.
6) B.J. Finney, Kansas State -- I like him a little more than Jester does. He played a pretty good game against UCLA. What was interesting about that game is that their RT got hurt pretty early and they moved him outside to RT and he really held his own. Shut down Owamagbe Odighizuwa for the most part.

I haven't really checked out Dismukes yet... I have a couple Auburn games still on the DVR but man he looked not good at the combine in the positional drills.

Also, I don't have Shaq Mason here because I've never seen him play center.

This is my order of preference for addressing the position, based on their draft projections:

1) Garcia (5th)
2) Gallik (4th)
3) Erving (19)
4) Day (5th)
5) Grasu (4th)
6) Finney (5th)

I still need to watch Garcia personally but from what I have been reading I would think that he goes higher than the 5th.

I will also try to find time to look at Day.

Yeah I would think he'd have to on talent, but I have this problem where I keep looking at CBS' rankings as a bellweather and they still have him in the 7th. I'd be fine with him in the 4th as well. Probably didn't help him that he was banged up and couldn't do anything at the combine.

I'm a novice at this mock drafting, but I enjoyed the draft simulator. I did a 5 round draft, and here are my picks:

12 Devante Parker WR Louisville
19 Alvin Dupree DE Kentucky
43 Devin Funchess TE Michigan
77 Garrett Grayson QB Colorado St.
108 Grady Jarrett DT Clemson
112 Sean Hickey OT Syracuse
139 BJ Finney C Kansas State

There may be people who have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.
