3rd maybe and that would be pushing it. Everyone seems to be forgetting he blew out the same knee twice and the last time he wasnt even hit. Just barely bumped and Armonty tried to hold him up. He has been in the league what 5 or 6 years and he has had what one decent year in which he wasnt injured.

I just cant understand how kelly could be so stupid to trade for this guy when Foles has only been a starter 2 years and has played some damn good ball. Then to offer a first for Bradford. its crazy. would rather pay Hoyer 16 mil a year than waste a first on Bradford.

OK, enjoy Josh McCown, who is Brian Hoyer 2.0.

I'd give up one of our DAMN firsts for Bradford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, move on with an actual hope at the QB position.

If it doesn't pan out, what's new??????????

There would be more hope in Cleveland if Bradford was our starting QB going into camp, backed up by a tutor in McCown and a young Manziel and Shaw.

He sure didn't have much to work with at the WR position.

If our OL can't protect him, no one can.
But, he looks as brittle as a leaf in his ACL injury last year.
You can call me desperate too.

the first 11 mins, almost every throw is on target. With an under throw, receivers dropping the ball or wr slipping.

Just watching the washington game (around 13 mins). The Oline is getting him killed.

Don't forget, trading for Bradford is for a one year rental. I wouldn't even consider trading a 1st unless he was willing to sign a 3 year extension at a reasonable price. No way does he agree to do that so no way do I trade for him.

Getting Bradford for a first is just a fantasy of mine. He would have to sign an incentive laden contract, because of his brittle health. He will not and I doubt would want to come here for the long haul.

I would trade no higher than a 3rd for Bradford. He too injury prone and too average to be worth more than that.

Both the Rams GM and head coach confirmed that we offered the 19th pick for Sam Bradford. They said no because they wanted a QB in return.

The Eagles tried to trade for Bradford and keep Foles.

Rams' Fisher confirms Browns tried to trade for Sam Bradford
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com

Rams coach Jeff Fisher confirmed Wednesday the Browns tried to trade for quarterback Sam Bradford in early March, and the compensation involved draft picks and not players, per Cleveland.com.

Fisher added the Browns did not offer the No. 12 pick in the NFL Draft, which indicates they offered the No. 19 pick. Other compensation was also discussed before the Rams traded Bradford to the Eagles for quarterback Nick Foles and an exchange of draft picks.

"There were discussions (with the Browns) late in the process,'' Fisher said. "There were never really any concrete offers per se. The misconception is that it started at the combine. It didn't. I stood up at the combine and said that Sam was our quarterback. This came well after that, several days before we initiated the trade with Nick, but there was a pick involved. There were numerous things that were discussed, different options. The compensation looked different over a period of a couple of days. I'm not going to go onto what it was, but it didn't involve a player."

Fisher added acquiring the No. 12 pick in the draft probably wouldn't have sealed the deal.

"At that point, you still don't have a veteran quarterback," Fisher said. "Again, Nick for us was the perfect fit for us, and I have talked with (Eagles coach) Chip (Kelly) and he thinks Sam is the perfect fit, so this was a good deal. But for us, we get a younger quarterback that's won a lot of games in this league, can make all of the throws and is somewhat durable. I know he's had shoulder issues, but most everybody has.''

Hunter + Dart = This is the way.
