by Lyuokdea above:

"acceleration is v^2 / r = omega * r (where omega is the angular velocity around the Earth...When it gets to 9.8 m/s^2 (the gravitational acceleration of the Earth)"

Ohh.... Now I got it.

I forgot to carry the two.

The answer is: 2

I have a question regarding this area because you used the word "pull". I try to understand general relativity quite often. I heard an explanation about 2 weeks ago that I didn't think about before. I heard a TV physicist say that the Earth is not being pulled towards the sun but it is being PUSHED by the space behind it.

O____o <---Space

So, for lack of better wording, "a gravitational pressure difference" on either side of the Earth. So, gravity would be a push force from space not a pull force of the sun. Thanks in advanced for any explanation.

I believe Rex Harrison has your answer.

The quick answer is that there is nothing in the universe that is not constantly in a state of flux. Even if something looks solid to you it is not. 99% of anything you can see or touch is made of completely empty space called particle fields(simplified).

Every single atom of any object is made up of even smaller moving particles orbiting even smaller quantum parts. The fields they generate hold those tiny, tiny, tiny particles in linkage to other similar fields. Your eyes are just not capable of seeing anything beyond those particle fields and blur everything together for you.

So again even if something LOOKS like it is standing still it is not. Instead every single particle of the universe is in constant flux.

You can't fix stupid but you can destroy ignorance. When you destroy ignorance you remove the justifications for evil. If you want to destroy evil then educate our people. Hate is a tool of the stupid to deal with what they can't understand.
