As per Tony Grossi , the Browns invited Pruitt to our minicamp but he decided to take a contract from the Ravens instead:
"(The Browns) invited Greg Pruitt Jr. for the weekend (minicamp), but Pruitt signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
"Baltimore offered him a contract without even working him out," Greg Pruitt Sr. said. "In his situation, you've got to take it."
The Browns' minicamp runs through Sunday. Practices are not open to the public.

well, that kinda sucks but ya can't blame the kid. We offered only an invite to earn a contract, they offered an actual contract.
Browns is the Browns

Bummer... it would have been cool to have another Pruitt to watch (at least for a little while). Congrats to the kid on getting a contract offer though (even if it WAS the Ratbirds).

That's too bad.
Would have been nice having him on the Browns.
At least the team was giving him a look.

Anybody have an idea of how much the contract was for? I always wondered what these undrafted FA's make.

I had read somewhere it is just a bonus money deal.....maybe 5-10k tops in most cases....enough to keep them going until they get cut or make the team. Then they go to NFL rookie minimum once they make the team.
