Cavs don't seem to want to take anything but three-pointers today. Fortunately, enough of them are dropping. Delly just had the hustle-play of the year to turn a turnover into a 3-point play.

those two buzzer beaters were very ridiculous ... especially Kyrie's

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I thought JR Smith had one?

Kyrie hit a crazy fade away three pointer from the corner at the end of the first. JR hit a 40-footer before the half. And Kyrie hit a shot-clock buzzer beater from about 55 after that.

I think Smith's shot had the highest degree of difficulty. Dude hit a half court fadeaway while guarded.

those shots were crazy, but the one JR hit might be one of the top 5 of the year easily..that thing had no business going in. JR when he gets going can put them up in bunches. I wish shump would stop trying to be JR...shump is a better slasher, he shouldn't be shooting 3's all the time.

My coaches always told us, live by the 3 die by the 3. Its true, we fall in love with it too consistently..That won't win many playoff series. I like seeing lebron getting more aggressive and playing in the post more. If they aren't going to let love do it, someone is going to have to. We know it won't be Mosgov. I want to like him as he hustles, be he reminds me of a larger 2010 andy. No offensive skill without the alley's and slow on defense and fouls hard. But they have a rhythm with him but I think he's going to struggle in playoffs..hope I'm wrong. The only other concern I have going into playoffs is lack of bench. Our bench is 32nd in the league in scoring. I really was hoping we'd be able to secure more scoring at the deadline for the bench. Who knows, maybe miller, joe, and jonnes come in and give us 20 points a game.

All I know is I'm ready for playoffs. This regular season is 82 games of holding your breath with every awkward fall or hard foul. Lets get this show going already. I have my tickets.

Agree about playoffs. Just bench everybody and don't even risk the chance of something happening. Just have d league scrubs playing the last few games. We're up 4 on Chicago and have the tie breaker

Yeah no doubt about it, Jr's half court shot was one of the sickest plays I've seen all year. Matter of fact, the only play I'm aware of that would be "better" is I think it was Martin Brown when he did the 360 after stealing the ball.

Irving's was also impressive factoring when he the ball was in bounded, he thought he had close to a full time clock. Either or, I was screaming on both instances haha.

Unless I'm mistaken, if the playoffs started today I'm guessing we'd play Brooklyn?

I completely agree with that. We also fall in love way too much with ISO jumpshots. Especially late in games. We stop moving the ball and Kyrie and Lebron keep trying those drop-step fade-aways from 15 feet or further. I groan even when they go in.

Moz wasn't brought in for instant post-offense. He was brought in to plug the middle and give fear to slashers who used to run in uncontested earlier in the season. He's a little slow on some rotations and he's not as good covering guys away from the basket, but he's a LOT better than what he had before. It's not a coincidence that we've only lost 7 games since him and Lebron started together. You also don't give his offense any credit. He's not a post-up guy, but he's showing that he can be pretty deadly as the roll guy in a PNR. It's why he's getting all those easy alley-oops. He can also hit a shot outside of 8 feet, which is more than what TT can do.

I think that stat is a bit aberration. We've got 3 all-stars on our team and one of them is usually on the court at all times. We're rarely putting out 5 bench guys at the same time and asking them to score. Granted, that when we DO do that, they usually don't know what to do and they can't put up points. But for the most part, they aren't scoring because they aren't NEEDED for scoring. Tristan is really rounding into a great rebounder. Delly plays perimeter D, defers to Lebron/Irving, and provides a threat as a 3-point shooter that keeps defenses from collapsing the lane. Iman is also a good perimeter defender. These guys are brought in for their defense and rebounding and leave the scoring to the super-stars. It's why they're usually the ones in the game at the end.

Yeah same here. I just hope the coaching staff is smart enough to rest everyone for a couple of days ... and maybe have another bowling trip right before the playoffs start.

For now, yes. There are 5 teams all within 2 games of each other looking for the last 2 seeds.

Spurs destroyed Golden State last night. Until they're knocked out of the playoffs, I just assume that's who we'd face in the finals. It's gonna take some teams A+ game to beat them.

How about TWO last second half court Buzzer Beaters yesterday?!?!?! I cant say I ever remember that happening in the same game. The JR Smith one was sick as well.

The Spurs attempted 21 threes per game in the playoffs last year. The Heat attempted 23.

The Cavs are currently shooting 27 threes per game. That number will go down a little in the playoffs.

Shooting tons of threes is the new reality. That's how the game is played nowadays.

I think you're overestimating how much of our bench will actually be playing during the playoffs..

Guys like Delly, Perkins, and James Jones.. Are going to get their minutes cut, as LeBron, Kyrie, Love and Mosgov get more time, know everyone gets a day off the next day..

And unless we start blowing people out in the first and maybe second rounds, I doubt Mike Miller even gets off the bench unless someone needs a high five..

Drive and get to the rim (or the foul line)... drive and kick out for the 3... almost every team has those two options as the result of their offense. Occasionally teams will try to score from the low post just to keep the other team honest... that's it.

Nothing wrong with philosophy when the looks are good and the people taking the shots are skilled. The Cavs can put a check mark next to each of those. They take a lot of threes, but more times than not, it's a good look. They chuck just like everyone else, but it's at a minimum. They also do it as well in transiation as the Spurs who kill teams with it.

Get whatever video you want to show, highlight the address, and copy it. (highlight it, and right click on it, and hit "copy".)

Reply to someone. Underneath the smiley's and frowns, etc, there's what looks like a "screen". (like a monitor.) Click that. (if you hover your cursor over it, it will say "enter a media tag".

Click it. It brings up a drop down box of google video, myspace video, yahoo video, or youtube video. Click which ever one is appropriate.

Then "paste" the url into the box that appears.

What did that have to do with the thread? The discussion was about the cav's, a question got asked, someone tried to reply, and then THAT from you?

We were having a good discussion, until the usual poster comes along and ruins it.

If you were following along with the thread, it was in direct response to a question asked. We get it, you don't care for the person that offered that info.

For all the back-to-backs we've had this year, these last three games feel like there has been a week in between them.

Yeah, Excel, it is kinda weird. It would be nice if they could sit Love a game, LBJ a game, Kyrie a game and then try to get them all rest together.
I got a good feeling about the momentum that they are gaining. I would like to see us go into the play-offs fully healthy and energized.

So, do the Cavaliers wrap up the Central tonight?

Chicago currently leads Orlando late in the 1st .... and the Cavaliers play a decent Bucks team.

I still think that they get it out of the way tonight so they can rest guys without any concern. (not that there is much at this point anyway)

Ten more minutes! I'm loving watching this team ball. Just after a million alley oops, three ball central and so forth - just when the excitement is topped you believe, BOOM! The next game proves better.

I'm not sure how a fading half court shot can be topped though! JR Swishhhhhhhhh!
