I do several mocks each year and typically post a couple versions of them. Here's my first for 2015. I picked the whole first round and the 2nd round up to our pick. For the rest, I projected (I normally do a full 7 rounds, but I don't have the time this year).

First our picks, then the detail below:

1a Marcus Mariota, QB (trade with NYG, #12 and both 4th rounders for #9)
1b Malcolm Brown, DT
2 DJ Humphries, RT
3 Chris Conley, WR
5 Mike Hull, MLB
6a Shaquille Mason, C
6b Wes Saxton, TE
7 Louis Trinca-Pasat, DE

Full 1st round
1 Tampa Bay - Jameis Winston, QB
2 Tennessee - Leonard Williams, DT
3 Jacksonville - Dante Fowler Jr., DE/OLB
4 Oakland - Kevin White, WR
- this might be the first "surprise" with White over Cooper. I think it is a crapshoot who goes first.
5 Washington - Vic Beasley, OLB
6 NY Jets - Shane Ray, OLB
- I think the Jets taking Mariota hype is overblown, I just don't see it.
7 San Francisco - Amari Cooper, WR (SF trades #15/#78, 2016 2nd rounder to Chicago for #7/5th rounder)
- SF is rumored to be in love with Cooper and are in need of a WR. I'm sure they're starting to make calls at #5, I think Chicago is the first viable taker.
8 Atlanta - La'el Collins, OT
9 Cleveland - Marcus Mariota, QB (CLE trades #12/both 4th rounders for #9)
- I could see the Rams taking Mariota, New Orleans trading up, Chicago considering trading up, and maybe even Philly. I think the FO is under a lot of pressure to get a franchise QB and think they pull off the trade).
10 St Louis - Brandon Scherff, OT
11 Minnesota - Landon Collins, SS
12 NY Giants - Alvin Dupree, DE (from Cleveland)
- every year a couple players go sooner than expected, here's one of my earlier than exptected projections
13 New Orleans - Danny Shelton, DT
14 Miami - Dorial Green-Beckham, WR
15 Chicago - DeVante Parker, WR (From SF)
16 Houston - Trae Waynes, CB
17 San Diego - Todd Gurley, RB
18 Kansas City - Andrus Peat, OT
19 Cleveland - Malcom Brown, DT
20 Philly - Kevin Johnson, CB
21 Cincinnati - T.J. Clemmings, OT
22 Pittsburgh - Randy Gregory, OLB
23 Detroit - Cameron Erving, C
24 Arizona - Marcus Peters, CB
25 Carolina - Jake Fisher, OT
26 Baltimore- Breshad Perriman, WR
27 Dallas - Arik Armstead, DT/DE
28 Denver - Ereck Flowers, OT
29 Indianapolis - Jordan Phillips, DT
30 Green Bay - Jalen Collins, CB
31 New Orleans - Maxx Williams, TE
32 New England - Jaelen Strong, WR

Round 2
33 Tennessee - Sammie Coates, WR
34 Tampa Bay - Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE
35 Oakland - Preston Smith, DE
36 Jacksonville - Melvin Gordon, RB
37 NY Jets - Brett Hundley, QB
38 Washington - Eddie Goldman, DT
39 Chicago - Garrett Grayson, QB
40 NY Giants - A.J. Cann, OG
41 St Louis - Carl Davis, DT
42 Atlanta - Eric Kendricks, ILB
43 Cleveland D.J. Humphries, OT
- I know we talked to him and he fits a need. I worry about his injury history.

3 Chris Conley, WR
- probably too early for him, but his performance at the combine will have a team drafting him a round early. Smart kid, high character.
5 Mike Hull, MLB
- played both inside and outside at Penn State - I see him spending time inside and on special teams
6a Shaquille Mason, C
6b Wes Saxton, TE
- raw TE, more in the pass catcher mold than all around TE
7 Louis Trinca-Pasat, DE

It'll be interesting to see comments. I expect more negative than positive, but maybe I'll be surprised.

I'd rather have DeVante Parker than Mariota.

I give your mock draft a B- and I'll explain why.

First: Marcus Mariota. Personally, I don't want any part of him unless he actually falls to #12 and then I can understand taking the chance on him. He's an excellent athlete that came from a gimmicky offense in which he rarely had to read defenses or lineup under center. We already have a handful of spread offense "project" quarterbacks on the team, Manziel and Shaw. I don't hate Mariota, he might end up being good, but we don't need to trade a bunch of picks on a 50/50 gamble like Mariota.

Second: Mike Hull. While he maybe a nice player, I think edge-rusher is a position that needs some depth added somewhere in the draft. To me, OLB is a bigger need than MLB seeing as we have Kirksey, Robertson and Dansby.

I like the other selections though thus I'm giving this a B-

Just my own personal opinion.

I can't assume you're going to be able to move up for only two 4ths..

It's for a QB, so you're going to pay a premium.. And if that's all it costs, someone else is going to be interested, and then you're in a bidding war..

JMO, but quarterback and first round isn't and hasn't worked out well for us and from what I read, Mariota is just too much a gamble to throw the required ammo needed to get him.

As SuperBrown, I'd like to see DeVante picked, or even Shelton. I've accepted this season, with the dismal options for quarterback, we should build around the qb and wait until there is a more clear cut option (either free agency or the draft) at Qb. If Mariota magically there at #12,never in a million years, but if then that changes things.

Ugh, no.

I want no part of Parker. Extremely overrated as a #1 WR, not close to being fast enough.

I like Mariota and would welcome the trade, but I'd be awfully tempted to just take Danny Shelton and be done at 12. JMO.

you had a good run Hank.

I should have stated that this is what I think that teams (including ours) will do, not what I want.

I know people want a WR early, but with the Hartline and Bowe pickups, I don't see that happening. If White or Cooper fall to 12, that may change, but in general I don't see it happening.

I expect that we'll pick up a QB draft week - either via draft or via trade. I have to think both Bradford and Glennon are on the radar for trades. Personally, I'd be asking New England about Garoppolo. I think if Mariota gets past the Bears, we'll be inquiring about him. Might St. Louis, Philly, New Orleans, Texans, or even the Cards inquire - yes, which will potentially drive up the price as someone called out.

If this were what I want, it'd look more like:
12/19 - best RT and DT available
Round 2 - Agholor, Kendricks, Armstead (should he fall), Eli Harold
Round 3 - Grayson, Petty if either are around, else best of WR, DE, OLB, MLB available (and not already chosen)
Round 4a - best of WR, DE, OLB, MLB available (and not already chosen)
Round 4b - best of WR, DE, OLB, MLB available (and not already chosen)
Round 5 - best of WR, DE, OLB, MLB available (and not already chosen)
Round 6a - If no QB taken yet - Holiday or Carden, else Justin Manton
Rounnd 6b - BPA
Round 7 - BPA

I would lobby for using the 5th to take Fowler. He offers blocking, receptions out of the backfield and power running. I know FB is a fading position, but if our offense is run first, a throw-back FB is a good thing to have.

Didn't Parker run a 4.42 at the combine? At 6'2" 215lbs I'd say that is fast enough to be a #1 WR. Now if we are talking route running which I think is more important than straight line speed for a WR then yeah I'd say Parker is a little bit stiffer in/out of his breaks than White and Cooper with Cooper being the more smooth route runner of the 3. Just my .02 though.

I cannot stress enough the difference between speed in shorts and speed in pads.

Parker is slow in pads, and not nearly quick enough to be a legitimate deep threat in the NFL. He's a very, very good redzone target and good possession guy, but absolutely not the #1, deep threat and, IMO, not a top 15 WR type guy.

A DE & DT?

Are you getting rid of someone?

Or just preparing for Phil Taylor's Compensentory Pick?

Good question. I don't expect Phil to be back next year, at at worst it is insurance...and our run D wasn't very good last year, so more talent isn't a bad thing.
