Obviously we have an orange jersey and a brown jersey, one of which will be our main home jersey (worn in 6 home games) and 1 alternate. (worn for 2 home games)

Simple question: Which jersey should be our primary home jersey, the orange, or the brown?

I honestly almost cannot believe that I voted for it ...... but I really like the orange jersey with the brown pants, the more I look at it .... so I voted for the orange jersey.

That's cool, but we are the Browns so I voted for the brown

Why isn't white an option?

Because we will almost certainly wear white on the road, as most home teams wear their colors at home. I cannot see the Browns, under any circumstances, having invested so much in new uniforms just to wear white all year round, home and away.

I'd be good with either of these as our primary home:

Brown over Orange
Orange over Brown

Because while I do like the orange a little bit better, due to the numbers being white..

The less we wear orange, the less chance we have of wearing ALL orange..

We can wear any color pants at any time, so that's why I did not include pants.

We will wear white on the road, almost exclusively, unless a team does as we did several years ago. and goes with white jersey at home. I can almost guarantee that we will not go with white at home, because I cannot see them having spent so much time and money on new jerseys, only to disregard 2 colors all but completely.

Man, the more I look at it, the more I like the "Mingo look", orange jersey with brown pants. He almost looks like the biggest player on the stage in that color scheme.

Am I wrong to think we've worn white at home countless times?

We wore white at home for one season that I can think of, and wound up wearing white ... IIRC, in 15 out of 16 games. Also IIRC, we stunk that year.

I was wondering the same thing. The first pics I saw of the new unis I thought "Dang, when did we change to Red and Brown?"

Man the more I see that Brown on Brown... just ugh. When I think I have my mindset, it changes. I guess that's positive since almost all combos I will like haha (except the white on white, yikes!)

I finally saw the stage with all the jerseys, on the Bruce Drennan show.

And knowing I want to see the ORANGE as prominent and cool looking as possible, one combo I fell in love with, and was like YES! THEY GOTTA GO THAT ONE! Was the Brown jersey with the ORANGE pants

I didn't think it'd be that much different than the Orange Jersey with the Brown pants, but when next to each other it was different.

Hmm, What did they wear when they beat the jets in the playoffs in 1980 something. and when they lost to the Broncos in the playoffs in 1980 something, two or three times.

Arrgh, nostalgia, this week I saw a pic of the White on white from the 80's and you'd think white on white would vacuum, but the orange, two tone orange stripes on the pants, and I'm remembering, yeah that's the "original Browns uniform I remember, that's obviously a memory of wins, wins often and a winning team, maybe that's why I want two tone orange in my mind now, 30+ years later"

Broke down and did it. Bought me the Joe Haden limited version brown color jersey today. It marks my first purchase of a jersey since my Joe Thomas that I got years and years ago!

Brown jersey and Orange pants.

I got my Joe Haden limited jersey (my first purchase since I had made a promise to not buy any gear for awhile, lol) and I thought it would look like teh jerseys on the Browns homepage, but nope. There is no stitching going across the middle of the belly area. The "Cleveland" is not stitched, nor are the numbers like the pics on the home page indicate.

My mistake I guess, still like the jersey but it would appear the collar ordeal is really about the only difference than the regular jerseys, that were $50 less.

You have to pay a good $150-$200 bucks for a REAL game jersey.

That Brown is really reeaally dark.. like almost black..

My lady likes the orange ones a lot better in person, will probably get her an Orange #23..

I still dont like the Orange numbers on the Brown and White jerseys. I think thats why the Orange jersey looks the best.. White numbers..

Yep, now I know. I actually found out that my boss has a pair of Phil Dawson's pants. I was like, say whattttttttt lol! But he does! Crazy.

For what it's worth, when I wore it to work, I got stopped by so many people both at my office and wherever I went (including Chiptole). People are digging on the new jersey (mine is the Brown color) Joe Haden.

So she's getting capris/yoga pants made with it on them.. To go with her new Jersey..
