I have zero problem with the way boston came out and tried to rough us up. Thats what you do when the other team is clearly more talented than yoours. You get physical and see if they will get tentative to where you can out hustle them.

I am also pleased with the way The cavs stepped to them and put them away. Bostons a young, scrappy team. If they get a little better, should be a fun rivalry for a few years unti we get old and break this potential dynasty up.

Kevin Love: I know Cavs have my back

BOSTON -- LeBron James marched down the court holding up three fingers on each of his hands in celebration and Kevin Love giddily skipped behind him in the same direction Thursday night. Love had just hit a 3-pointer off a James pass in the final minute of the Cleveland Cavaliers' 103-95 Game 3 win over the Boston Celtics.

It was Love's second made 3 in the final 2:13, putting a cap on a 23-point, nine-rebound night for the seven-year vet.

And it was a prompt for James to speak up in support of the Big Three's most maligned member.

"He's played an unbelievable series," James said of Love, who is averaging 18.3 points and 9.0 rebounds through the Cavs' 3-0 start to the playoffs.

"He's been highly criticized this year, and I don't know why," he continued before correcting himself. "I know why. I know why. I know."

So what has been the cause of all the scrutiny Love has faced?

"For a team that finally gets together, when you have a Big Three, they got to find something," James said. "When I was in Miami, Chris Bosh was that guy at one point. So, I know why. I've seen it before, and when you've been in the position when you've had your own team and now you come and join forces. ... They started pointing fingers at anybody. They got to find somebody. And Kevin was the guy that they tried to find and tried to tear him down.

"The one thing about him, he's always stayed positive, I've always believed in him. I don't really get too involved in what everybody says. I know what type of player he is, what type of competitor he is, and I know he relishes this opportunity to be part of this franchise and be a part of the postseason. So, with everything said with the first eight months of the season, he's definitely used that as motivation, I believe. I think he's a big-time player. He's a very cerebral basketball player, and in order for us to be the team that we want to be long term, Kevin is going to be Kevin. Which he was tonight."

James was echoing the support for Love he expressed to ESPN prior to Game 1 when he said it was his "utmost responsibility" to get the best out of the three-time All-Star in the postseason.

Love said the criticism he hears from the outside is nothing like the encouragement he receives from inside the Cavs' organization.

"People have focused my whole career on what I couldn't do rather than what I could do," Love said. "So, I know that my teammates and the coaching staff has my back and the organization has my back, and I'm sending love right back to them. Tonight was one of those times where my number was called to step up and to hit a big shot."

Cavs vs Bulls is the ECF to me. Felt they were on a collision course the entire year. I see either one beating Atlanta. Need to finish the celtics off next game.

Felt the same way when Ohio State run over Oregon.

Cavs will probably sweep my Celtics, but the future for Boston looks very bright, and when the Celtics are legit they don't hope to win Championships but they expect too win them ... I will be rooting for Cleveland to win it all after this series is over ... thumbsup

To beat Chicago we need to hit open 3's consistently (JR & Love specifically) and Tristan needs to play like an animal against Taj Gibson.

Hopefully the winner of Cle/Chi isn't too beat up after that series.. ATL is good enough to beat up a tired team..

Clippers are a VERY good team. I just don't know how you beat San Antonio 4 times out of 7.

Washington can beat Atlanta. Atlanta's weakness is Washington's strength (interior play, Horford isn't a true Center and Nene/Gortat will give him problems).

What a game last night!

I know the bulls are gonna beat the bucks this series. but that was a crazy amount of TO the bulls committed. you can't do that with Lebron, Irving and Smith on the floor. It can go 0-100 real quick for the bulls.

Wow!! The Cavs could be in BIG trouble moving forward. Kevin Love just ran to the locker room with a dislocated shoulder....

On the replay, that sure looked like there was an intent to injure Love.

Any doctors in the house, any range of time to recover from an injury like that?

I kinda thought the same, jfanent! I just said oh, no, that could change the whole play-offs. My wife saw the replay and said man, that looked like he tried to hurt him.

When you're not talented, you have to resort to things like that.

Totally dirty.

I was hoping they'd put Perkins in after that for that very reason, stop them from playing dirty.

I just hope we can heat up from behind the arc and have a fourth quarter where LeBron, Kyrie and Mosgov spend the whole time on the bench.

I think if we can push it to 15-18, they'll fold.

I would totally put Perkins in and I would whisper in his ear "Sweep the leg. No mercy."

Seriously.

I hate when refs are overly demonstrative.

Just call the foul, I don't need you flailing around.

well, our chances may have just taken a catastrophic hit

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Only if there's ligament damage. If you only have to pop it back in, he could be fine for the Chicago series.

Exactly, they have been taking a lot of cheap shots. But they obviously don't like it right back at them.

I'm still shaking my head at the Olnyk thing.

Perkins just earned his entire contract there. And if he did get tossed, we could unleash our secret weapon of Haywood, lol.

Hubie Brown had the nerve to say Love locked his arm With Olynik. The replay clearly says otherwise.

This team has played pretty dirty basketball the whole series. How many times have they not gone for the ball on fouls?

And just like the Bulls over the last few years, the Celtics get WAY too much credit for playing hard. Like woah, what a concept!

There's a picture on Cleveland.com that she's that it's pretty clearly a dislocation... Hopefully there won't be any ligament damage and they were able to just pop in back in... If that's the case he should be able to play next round... If there is more damage then he could be done for awhile...

The thing is Cleveland doesn't need any of Love's scoring to win it all.

They need his rebounding and his smarts. His cerebral-ness is responsible for 2-3 easy buckets a game.

Those two things Cleveland needs desparately to win it all.

Without those it will be tough.
