It cracks me up that most of you peeps think this is a good draft. Such homers. This is the most IMCOMPETENT front office we have ever had, and that's saying something.

This team "STILL" has ZERO playmakers. No QB. No WR. A threesome of third down backs thanks to the last brilliant draft pick by the "texting" GM.

You peeps not seeing the incompetence, I marvel at that.

We gave up 3 picks, a 4th, 5th, and 6th, and got this pick and a 7th back.

That's why we accumulate picks, to make deals when we can.

We still have 2 4ths, 2 6ths, and a 7th. (and I bet we trade up from the 6th to consolidate picks)

Taylor Gabriel averaged 17.3 yards per catch.

Again, calm down.

YAC and being able to stretch the field are different concepts oh wise one. That was my point. Overlooked I guess.

Man, I wanted a WR desperately, but this is not a bad draft. They added a playmaker at RB, and they have added tremendously to the defense. At this point they must feel that they can get a guy in UDFA at WR who is as good as they can draft from this point on.

I love that we have added 2 DL and a pass rusher to the defense, and a speedy and elusive RB who can also catch. Hopefully the C/T/G/whatever we drafted will also turn out to be a great pick.

Gabriel has a dozen touchdowns and a 1000 yards if He gets hit on just half the plays he was missed horribly on lat year.

Anyway this is a strong message to this DL. We will probably carry 7 DTs and some underachieving talent is about to get cut or traded.

He does both. He was open A TON down field.

We just didn't have a QB to get him the ball.

Sorry - but you know nothing. Likewise anyone liking the draft knows nothing. Proclaiming this is the best ever - worst ever - or just taking any position that tries to define what these picks are going to do in the NFL is just asinine. I get that your a pessimist. Have fun being miserable, but don't drag others into it.

While I don't know how these picks will play on Sunday, regardless of whether I like the players selected, I do know one thing for sure - if the Browns had started drafting like this in 1999 we would be a way better football team than we have been the last 15 years.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

I agree, the defense is being strengthened iimmensely in a 3-day span. I absolutely love it.

Agree to disagree. He's not a legitimate down field threat IMO. Opportunities to add playmakers and passed. Again. Oh well, maybe the Browns will have a decent kicker this year. LOL

That is a good point. He was wide, wide, wide open quite frequently last year. I still wish that we would have grabbed a WR playmaker in the 1st, but we do have Gabriel, who I like a lot.

Pretty cool that we have 115 and 116 in the 4th round. We can still add some serious talent. laugh

What about Antwan Goodley tomorrow? Though he's likely to be just another slot guy. Kenny Bell late?

Here's the guys I'm aware of that we talked to at the combine, had in, or worked out privately.

Vince Mayle
Stefon Diggs
Ricky Collins (had in Berea and also worked out privately)
Titus Davis
Mario Alford
Zach D'Orazio
Shane Wynn

I really like Davis and Collins, IF the Browns decide to take a WR.

Also...get the FB. Get him and run the damn ball 50 times a game.

You are such a genius. A true visionary. I'm sure everyone in your life stands in awe of your clarity and mental dexterity. And communication skills, pffft, you're a sage, sir. Your ability to think outside of one. single. track. is impressive.

Well, at least the Browns have the OL talent to run against 8-9 man fronts. A FB would help for sure.

Dezmin Lewis, I'll hit Jesse James again, Darren Waller still out there. We need a big bodied pass catcher.

J/C ....

I wonder if we look at a K in the 4th? Could be a good time to get a great young PK. I think that we could look for a FB. Other than that, I don't see us looking at a ton of "needs". We addressed WR and TE in free agency. We aren't going to find a QB. We drafted for the OL, DL, pass rush, and RB.

Man, I am starting to like this draft a while lot better the more I consider it as a whole. I do still wish that we would have taken a WR who could operate on the outside.

Hardy and Green as suggested remaining WRs on the NLFN broadcast. Any thing on them?

I am pretty high on Dezmin Lewis is better than most of the wide receivers off the board. I think he has tremendous upside.

This is one of the worst drafts for kickers in recent history. In fact, most people didn't even bother grading them, it's that bad.

Ricky collins? Yes! I think he could be a steal of the draft. Question is what round? Because now we have no 5th round pick. ..which is where I think he goes

Maybe use our 7th on Lambo from Texas A&M, but yeah slim pickings.

I think he could justify a 4th rounder, but don't we have multiple 6th rounders? I'd trade up there.

Totally forgot about Blake Bell in this draft. At the top, it's really weak for TE's. But it gets good later. Miffed we missed on Heuerman.

Exactly, I hope that Farmer knows we need to get a FB and I think Jalston Fowler would be an excellent choice. He should be our next pick.
