i am not assuming. they said dont count shaw out. so i guess they are assuming?

yeah I remember Farmer stating that...note it was Pre-draft anything goes time so if you were serious on the quote as meaning something I'm not quite sure how serious Farmer was.

Also I have from time to time tried to think about the meaning of what he said. He never mentioned Shaw as the starter just as somebody who can provide Competition and was not mentioned with Lewis, McCown or Manziel in the media.

Actually if you look at it - all 3 (Lewis, McCown & Shaw) seem to be WCO typical QBs.

Shaw of course not really able to take care of the vertical stretch I believe we wish to do.

One thing I do know - you can improve arm strength hopefully we got a good strength and conditioner coach. Shaw actually would be good if he could strengthen his arm (actually shoulder).

Shaw, in his one appearance, did seem confident and in "command". You'd think he has been a 5 year starter from the way he carried himself...

I was actually impressed with his pocket presence. Even though he has some scramble, he didn't resort to that and moved around and stood in there like a man. He took some brutal, last sec but legal hits, heard he was pissing blood but he kept getting up.

Them down field floaters though... if only he had Weeden's arm power.

Shaw may be the man bb, but it didn't take much to outshine Hoyer and JFF at the end of last season.

I don't, however, believe Shaw to be part of the solution at QB...

Shaw may be the most legitimate QB on our roster as desperate as that sounds.

No most of us made it through high school without getting the clap...

I can't remember part of high school though, due to concussions...I didn't even know what a concussion was back then. I would see stars for 2 plays and never leave the field.
