A year ago fans were sticking forks in Brady, and he went on to win the SB.

Almost a year ago I was calling those people dumb asses. And there is absolutely no common ground in that scenario to Hoyer NONE AT ALL.

You always focus on the Colt game and yup Hoyer played poorly

Only as his last Hurrah in THE DECISION to sit him. That is when he lost his brief status as Starter - Focus...actually the game I focused on the most has been his win against the Bengals. I think that was an important moment cause that is when he took and owned the outright no doubt about it Starting QB role and accepted by all.

Bills continuing Hoyer's slide to the point they put in Manziel and sat down via committee on who to start vs Colts - Hoyer got the nod - the entire game. Yeah we were still in it to the very end despite Hoyer but again all he had to do was play OK he would have won and get his 16 games.

Thanks for the Brady example...Brady's back was against the all with idiots saying he was done after the Chiefs game...did he do worse? Nah he came out and kicked butt. Did Hoyer come back and kick butt...No and then next game NO - he lost his chance.

I would not have been upset if Hoyer stayed. But I'm not upset that he didn't

What I think....we knew Hoyer was the best chance to win but nobody really liked him...then once he did not just one or two games bad but had a big influence on us taking a nose dive at the end of the year he convinced them of what they originally thought of him. Hey he got us all excited and then he tore our hearts out.

Everyone either points to Mack's injury or Gordon's return as the reason why he struggled.

I point to those things as contributing factors along with a lack of coaching for Hoyer from Loggains or Shanny or both. And yes, Hoyer has to take some blame also. But not all of it.

There are times when it's ONE PLAYER that causes his own problems. This wasn't one of those times.

At least not IMO

Absolutely, but at the same time, a better qb, someone who you do want to keep around, overcomes the defense having lapses, or injured players.

And he certainly doesn't justify his position by stating his record to the media.

Hoyer is a qb who can play ok when the run game is working and the defense plays well. He can't carry a team when those things are taken away. The fact that qb play for this town has been so bad has a lot of our views distorted.
