Charles at least went back and brought new facts (Horford locked Dellys arm)

Kenny is just regurgitating the same crap over and over based of his first impression. Which btw, was wrong.

Charles: he didn't do anything wrong

So, does the league look at that replay and suspend Horford even more? Honestly, if that wasn't an "intent to injure" move, what is? There is absolutely NO way that can be considered a basketball move in any way, shape, or form.

MMA move? Yes.

At what point does the league get serious, and make it known that they are serious - when obvious, blatant attempts at injuring a player occur - when does the league step in and suspend a player for multiple games. This season, and next season.

Because if the league doesn't do it, things will only get worse, and soon basketball will become like hockey. Each team will have a goon/thug whose job is to injure an opponent.

I've heard a lot of talk about him getting credit/not getting any credit/not getting enough credit on the radio lately...

I think he deserves quite a bit. Not all of it or anything like that. I think we can win with a lot of coaches with the team we have, but he didn't sign up for having Lebron. We have to believe that even though the Cavs were hopeful of bringing Lebron back when they hired Blatt, that it wasn't any kind of sure thing. When you coach Lebron, you get some of your philosophies taken away. People will look at that as a negative, but much like an NFL quarterback, you're going to let a player that good see how things unfold, and adjust accordingly. He's had his rotations in order well before Christmas (they were playing well before Lebron went out for 2 weeks) and once those trades settled in, he had the team working like a perfect machine. There were no nailiters, they were literally blowing teams out left and right. Good teams, western confernce teams, and even the team they will meet in a week and a half.

Where I have been impressed the most, is when Lebron leaves the floor, this team does not struggle, in fact, they have extended leads.

The naysayers will point to the stat that the Cavs have run more iso plays than anyone else in the playoffs, but you are always going to get that when you have Lebron. It works to perfection when you have the shooting we have, it just does. There have been good plays out of timeouts, and other than escaping an all time blunder, and the decision to start Mike Miller against Chicago, there hasn't been much to complain about.

That's why I don't get Bucher's comments about him thinking Blatt is gone no matter what. So you're telling me if this guy is the coach of a team that ends a city's 50+ year title drought, that he's going to be shown the door? The only way Blatt is gone is either A) if he wants to be gone or B) The Cavs have some wink wink deal with a major player ie, Coach K or someone like that. Coach K ain't leaving Durham, and I don't really see any kind of big fish out there that the Cavs just have to have.

So the ball happened to land next to the guy's feet. It means you're supposed to stand there and watch.

Man what a game, alot closer than it should have been...have to hit your FT. Lebron def. didn't want to lose.. I don't think I want to be the team standing between lebron and the finals only needing one more win and him being at home.. No way this goes back to Atlanta.

Couple of things about the game, I'm sick of hearing how Atlanta has all these injuries, we're missing 3 HUGE contributers in Kyrie, Love and Andy..I don't feel sorry they are missing a one season wonder, one trick pony in Korver, big deal.

Is it me or did our entire offense consist of lebron in the same spot getting the ball in the same spot over and over and over..lol, you would think they would be able to stop it...for the most part they couldn't...too many shooters to worry about.

It seemed to me at one point in the 4th the refs were actively trying to let Atlanta have a shot at the game..terrible calls/no calls. They got the Horford one right, though I'm curious why Delly got a tech. Along that lines, I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see Horford suspended a game...it was pretty intentional and def. malicious. If JR can get 2, horford should get atleast 1. I've said it all year, Delly is like Andy when he first came into the league, not alot of talent, but hustles and gets under peoples skin. Its perfect in playoffs as tensions are already high.

My only hope for game 4 is atlanta takes it like men and doesn't try to injure one of our guys. Seems to be the common thread for us in playoffs. Kyrie should sit game 4 as well. Have a nice long rest before finals, I'd have him suit up, maybe play a few minutes a half just to keep loose. I don't think anyone is beating GS this year though, as slow as our guards are at getting over a pick, the splash brothers are going to be hard to slow down. Houston has tried to slow them down and go half court on them, but GS is just too good. Looks alot like the D'antoni Suns teams, just with better shooters. I don't think we make it easy for them, but going to be hard to pull that out, really depends on kyrie, we have to have him healthy to have a chance in that series.

My guess is, if your season hinges on having Kyle Korver available, it probably wasn't meant to be, haha.

Kind of interesting if you read into Horford's comments after the game, he did not think it was malicious or anything like that, but seemed to point at it being more careless.

What does that say about a player who has a 60 million dollar contract, basically saying a player shouldn't hustle to get a loose ball? Delly don't have that kinda coin, and will never be offered it. That dude has to scrape being in the league.

I know a lot of you guys don't watch hockey, but if you get a chance to watch the Blackhawks, Delly is basically Andrew Shaw. He's a grinder, who sticks his body in front of the net to distract the goalie, and tip pucks in, and he takes a ton of abuse by defenders. He's also disliked to the level that other teams have shown for Delly. You need those kinds of guys to win championships in hockey, and having one in the NBA is an added bonus.

I guess if Horford was worried about his knees, he shouldn't have Arm barred delly and pulled him down..common sense

See now that is BS, delly fell because he was getting pulled down, then tripped over Carroll in the process. Delly didn't have any control over what he did at that point.

Honest to God if we beat the Warriors we need to build an 1000 foot gold statue of Lebron and put it downtown. I don't know how my brain would process a Cleveland team winning a title. This is still too much for me to process right now. The reality has kinda set in. I might die if it goes 7 games.

If Tony Brothers thinks it's a Flagrant 2 ... then it must be pretty blatant. I mean, he's the one that though Kelly Olynyk's hit job was somehow just a common foul.

I agree 100%. Delly can't fly, and if you have a guy trip you, (inadvertently, but that is what the result was) and then have a bigger player than you dragging you down, you are going to go down. Horford pulled Delly down, and then took offense to where he fell.

Ridiculous.

Delly should not have been given a technical on that play.

I thought that Delly answered the question about the play with Horford perfectly. He waved off Lebron's wave off, and did a great job explaining what happened, with a suggestion to actually look at the tape completely.

They forgot the arrow to the guy at Delly's feet, who Delly tripped over as well. They needed a double arrow from the "Ignore that" caption.

After playing competitive basketball for my entire life, I know exactly what type of player Delly is ... he's made his living off of playing hard and borderline reckless, probably because he has no other choice. He's not dirty in that he's trying to hurt people, but he also doesn't care.

He's the type of guy you love to have on your team, but hate to have guard you.

Incisive. He plays harder to make up for his size. Wanna protect yourself? Move your feet! Delly can't pick his spot being pulled down after all. Go, Cavs!

Pardon me. Gotta get my broom again, find it. First, the Tribe over the Reds, then the Cavs (we hope).

I'm liking basketball less after watching this seemingly last ditch strategy of "Let's Injure 'Em" - again.

These teams seem to really not want to see the Cavs to win it all.

Is this what it's like to win a championship?

Well, there you have it. I'm so proud of our Cavs! Shump could have hit that last foul shot and not have had to get even more suspenseful and worked up in OT, but oh well!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and how about The King? He's a tank playing with injury. Probably the most crappiest start I've seen him play, but dang he lit it up. Triple double, playing all out with injury and being a true leader.

Had to come back and post that! LBJ beast mode!

seems to me the rest of the NBA is more upset that Cleveland is no longer a whipping boy that can be pushed around and now everyone seems upset that we push back.

I flipped on NBAtv's coverage after the game, and the guys on the show were critical of Horford. Brent Barry even when as far as to say that Korver's injury was his own fault. He didn't dive for the ball like Dellavedova did, and if he had, he'd probably still be playing. It's the proper move to shift your body away from the player when securing a loose ball on the floor, to avoid the jump ball whistle, as well as look for an outlet to pass.

I get the feeling that some of these former NBA players turned analysts just don't like the kid.

I think its just Kenny Smith, both Shaq and charles were saying Delly did nothing wrong..Smith is an idiot. I have wished they would replace him for years. Both Charles and Shaq are pro-Cleveland. Smith is just a whiny girl with a air of entitlement. No secret I'm not the biggest delly fan, but dude has grown on me in the playoffs. He makes up for lack of skill and athleticism with hustle and grit. I can't get down on a guy for that. I'm a Delly fan after these playoffs

Both Smith and Reggie Miller. Miller droned on for like 10 minutes afterwards saying how Delly is dirty. I mean how dare a guy out-hustle everyone else and box out big-men to the point of frustration fouls on their behalf. I hope there's a loose ball towards the sidelines next game right at Reggie Miller head, and Delly lays out to save it.

The worst part is that he would drone on for 5 minutes about Delly being dirty, but then stop to say "I'm not saying he's dirty" just to go back and talk for 5 more minutes about him being dirty..

Think about this ..... in exchange for Waiters, a 1st round pick, and a second round draft pick, (net) we got ..... (in yesterday's game)

Shumpert: 15/7/1
Smith: 17/10/1 and 2 blocks
Mozgov: 9/5/0 and 2 blocks (along with changing several shots)

That's darn near armed robbery there.
