He was enjoying himself. He's also still very much injured, so don't expect him to be dancing around with everyone else.

From Twitter:

And enjoying this moment as much as anybody: Kevin Love. He was giving high-fives to arena personnel on his way to the locker room.

There's also this pic of him at the game. He looks miserable and can't wait to leave town:

Here's a pic of Love in the post-game celebration ... He looks happy. Mike Miller looks miserable. He's totally bailing from this team as soon as he get a chance.

I think he has already re-upped on his player option for next year. He's riding the wave....why not?

Perhaps I should of used purple font. There's NO way Mike Miller leaves this team. He gets $3 million to heat chairs and have a chance for a ring.

My bad for not noticing the sarcasm, and I agree, no reason to walk away from $3M when all you have to do is give high-fives and slap butts for those arriving to the bench.

The end of the Cavs bench physically looks like the YMCA team when they're on the floor. Have we had a dumpier player than Mike Miller since Fat Shawn Kemp?

Yeah, it's 2-2-1-1-1 now, just like the first 3 rounds. I think this is the best format and am glad they changed it.

The NHL has the same setup as the NBA with East/West conferences and 4 round playoffs, and they've used it for years.

I always thought the whole travel argument was stupid. Charter flights and 5 star hotels for the players, and I'm pretty sure the hotels themselves can accomodate. Not to mention there always seems to be a decent layoff between the end of the conference final and the start of the finals.

Last night was awesome. Totally different than 2007 where it almost felt like a championship in itself. The crowd was awesome, but you can tell as a whole that nobody is satisfied. The Cavs made Atlanta quit just like they made Chicago quit. Man, whenever you see Lebron high stepping down the floor with the ball, you know he's feeling it, and it's usually when they have the other team on the ropes. It was good to see him play well after he emptied the tank the other night.

Don't know if you guys listen to RBS, but they had their beat reporter on the other day. He brought up an article from last summer with Bradley Beal from the Wizards. Keep in mind this article was almost a year ago. He was asked the toughest defender that he's faced, and he said Matthew Dellavedova. Crazy huh? You know who the next guy he listed was? Iman Shumpert.

Bradley Beal isn't Steph Curry or James Harden, but he's earning his way as one of the better players in the league. So coming from him, and coming at a point in time where nobody knew who Matthew Dellavedova was, and Iman Shumpert was just a guy on a bad Knicks team, I thought that was interesting.

Just my early thoughts on the possibility of a Cavs/Warriors series, I think we can play with them. They're going to be favored, as they should be, as they have the home court advantage, better overall record, and are the best home team in the league.

We have the best player in the league who knows the finals better than anyone else in the series. We have great shooting which will probably fly under the radar because of the focus on Golden State's backcourt. We have perimeter defense, and Tristan Thompson. We need Kyrie to be good. If he's not really good, I think you have to get him out of there. Which I have no doubt that Blatt will do what's necessary. One other thing about Blatt that he doesn't really get credit for is that he is not afraid to bench a guy for matchup purposes or just an overall better feel. You saw it with Kevin Love quite a bit, as well as Mozgov.

And now the wait....

I hope in game 4 after we are close to wrapping up a sweep of the Warriors that someone on the Cavs knocks Curry's mouth guard down his throat. Watching him chew on it and act like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread is becoming annoying.

I sure hope that Sir Charles is correct ......

Charles Barkley: 'Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win the world championship this year' | cleveland.com
http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2015/05/charles_barkley_cleveland_cava_1.html#incart_2box

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have advanced to the NBA Finals for the second time in franchise history. While their opponent remains a mystery, TNT NBA Analyst Charles Barkley isn't waiting for the Western Conference finals result before sharing his prediction.

"The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win the world championship this year," Barkley said after the Cavs' 118-88 win against Atlanta on Tuesday night.

It's a big change considering Sir Charles said earlier this postseason the Cavs couldn't beat the Bulls without injured All-Star Kevin Love. But the team's recent play led to a change of heart.

LeBron James, in the Finals for the fifth straight year, is coming off a series against Atlanta where he averaged 30.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.5 steals. Picking up the slack for a missing Love and a hobbled Kyrie Irving, James delivered when his team needed it the most.

"This is his best accomplishment in all of his runs," analyst Kenny Smith said.

But the Cavaliers are not a one-man show. Throughout the postseason, James has gotten help from teammates, something that hasn't always been the case.

"(Tristan) Thompson has solidified the power forward spot to go with (Timofey) Mozgov," Barkley said. "They have a big team now. With the addition of J.R. Smith and (Iman) Shumpert, they have athletic ability on the perimeter now. Mozgov saved their season because they were just too small. But now you put him and Thompson together -- LeBron's playing at an unbelievable level -- but I think the addition of Shumpert and J.R. Smith made them a legit NBA team."

Shaquille O'Neal, another member of the Inside the NBA crew on TNT, once played alongside James. O'Neal arrived via trade in 2009 and was expected to be the piece to help James and the Cavaliers end the city's title drought.

"My motto is very simple: Win a Ring for the King," he proclaimed during his introductory press conference. James was still in search of his first NBA title at that time, but once again fell short. And like many of James' previous teammates, O'Neal failed to deliver in the postseason.

Back in Cleveland as a broadcaster, while the confetti fell from atop Quicken Loans Arena, O'Neal reflected on what the moment meant for his former teammate and city.

"We all grew up on great sports stories," he said. "If this kid wins for this town, it will have to be a top 10 sports story. Guy grew up here, left, was criticized, won in Miami and came back. It's just their time. I'm really excited for the city of Cleveland and LeBron."

Of course, Barkley, O'Neal and others still have questions about Kyrie Irving. How healthy is he? What can he deliver while playing through a balky left knee? Will he be able to use the days off to return to his previous form and once again become James' talented running mate?

"He's got to be healthy," Barkley admitted before making his prediction. "I think the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win."

It was the headline the editor of the Plain Dealer chose. I merely copied and pasted it. You can take your objection up with them. wink lol

However, that said, this is what the article says: "The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win the world championship this year," Barkley said after the Cavs' 118-88 win against Atlanta on Tuesday night.

This should be a great series. I will be rooting for the Warriors because the style of basketball they play is much easier on the eyes than the iso heavy Cavs. I hope both teams stay healthy and play to the best of their abilities.

I'm no basketball fan but I just got an alert the Bulls fired their head coach. So in basketball you get fired for making the playoffs? Seems kind of rough.

Thibs wore out his welcome with the fans, front office, and players IMO ... they weren't responding to him anymore.

He can still have success elsewhere

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Happens in football once in a while too but not as often. Fact is that the players didn't really like him and in basketball, if your star players don't like the coach, somebody's leaving and it's not the players.

Thibs has had a very talented team since he got there and he hasn't been able to get out of the early rounds of the playoffs..

Although I think his playoff record has been underwhelming, he wasn't fired for anything that happened in the playoffs. His fate has been sealed for a while. The Bulls were just playing chicken with a few of the teams that have openings, trying to get a draft pick. Problem is, it was the worst kept secret in the league that they were going to part ways.

He wants more power than he's had. With the Bulls, they keep their chain of command pretty solid. Michael Jordan did't even really have any say in his time there.

I just don't know why he thinks he's earned that kind of power? The media treats him like he's Phil Jackson. The players never really gave him any kind of endorsement which probably didn't help the matter.

Fred Hoiberg will be their next coach. I don't think it's likely, but i can see Thibs sitting out a year and making sure he still gets paid from the team. My guess is he's in Orlando next year.

The Okc team did almost the same thing, plagued by injury and didn't make the playoffs and off they go to someone else. This certainly sounds more like politics than coaching ability.

I don't really have anything to go on, but my guess is, that Brooks was only fired because they knew Donovan had serious interest. Like my buddy said a long time ago, you don't dump your girlfriend until you've found a new one (lol).

OKC is in the same situation as the Cavs were, with trying to keep Durant around. Although I agree, it's tough to knock Brooks after all the injuries they had during the season. I'm not even sure Billy Donovan is an upgrade either, but sometimes a new voice can help.

The longer we get away from playing the Hawks, the more I'm worried the Warriors are the 1997 Marlins, a team looking for it's first title and we'll be the unfortunate victim to let them have it. (okay the Warriors won one already, but that was forever ago).

I know some are confident on here, but I think we'll only win two games (Games 3 and 5). I hope I'm wrong because the last time the Cavs were in the Finals, we all thought they'd be back soon after, but it took 7 years.

When you have the opportunity, you've got to win it. You never know if you'll get back.

I think (or maybe it's hope) that the Warriors are Manning's Colts.. great in the regular season, look smooth, ton of offensive weapons... get them deep in the playoffs and rough them up a bit, play physical, slow the game down some, and get them out of their rhythm... The can be rattled...
