I would agree with that, I should have prefaced my statement on Adams by saying assistant. Thibs and Adams are also very close.

So, has anyone else not shaved since the Cavs playoff run started? I don't have a playoff beard, I have a "playoff Van Dyke" happening.

Admittedly, this was started for the Blackhawks playoff run, but it's supporting both I guess.

The only reason I care about the NBA these days is because of LeBron and the Cavs.

ESPN's Pre-Finals Predictions for Lebron's team:

2007 vs. Spurs = 13% chance to win (Right)
2011 vs. Mavericks = 63% chance to win (Wrong)
2012 vs. Thunder = 51% chance to win (Right)
2013 vs. Spurs = 66% chance to win (Right)
2014 vs. Spurs = 31% chance to win (Right)
2015 vs. Warriors = 28% chance to win (?)

ESPN has a good track record of predicting Lebron's outcome in the Finals. Will they be right again?

I think the warriors will handle us pretty easy. Bench will be where it all goes down, and with Irving probably not even 75% It don't look good. I never count out lebron, but warriors are just a very talented team, they can shoot and they play great defense. That and they have a plus level bench...filled with ex cavs..lol. i think we win game 3 and thats it. But I think next year will be our best shot, provided everyone comes back. Now all that being said, if we somehow manage to win one of the first two..all that goes out the window, because i really like our chances if we can beat them mentally.

Did anyone watch Iman's press conference today? That mexican dude was creeping me out, I couldn't imagine what Shump was thinking. How did they even allow that guy there? He even pulled out a level and wanted to use it on Iman's hair, like WTF?

I dunno, 28% seems low to me. Not an analyst, don't work at ESPN, but I like our chances.

Agreed.

I'm about to lay my entire retirement savings on the Cavs.

Dang, that really sucks bro. I've pretty much told everyone I'm a ghost on Thursday evening and am not to be bothered "unless die hard emergency" lol. DVR is my suggestion, listening to bball games on the radio is confusing to me lol.

It's official. I'll get to watch games 2, 3, and 6...

And will be living and dying on ESPN Updates on my phone tonight.

I was thinking this morning. I've been a Cleveland sports fan for about 37 years. In those years, we've have some awful seasons, some competitive seasons, and some seasons where we're contenders. Obviously, no season where we've won it all.

Adding up all those playoff games between the Browns, Cavs & Indians would equal 200 playoff days/games I've experienced. So, 200 days out of 13,514 days (.014%) that I've been a fan, we've had a shot to get closer to the final round. If you add up the days we've actually been in the final round, that number is only 17 days (13 for the Indians and 4 for the Cavs = .0012%). We were 5-12 in those 17 days.

So, today is a very rare day indeed. It's only the 18th day in my Cleveland sports fandom where a game will be played to win a final round game.

And funny and depressing, if you think about it, there was only 1 day ever that a Cleveland sports team could have won it all in those 37 years (October 26, 1997).

My heart been pounding abnormally ever since I got home, like I slammed five Red Bulls and chased the last one down with another type of energy drink. WTF am I going to do for three hours until game time?

I've been watching videos of Ohio State's magical run to the national championship all week. I think it's great prep for fans. Both teams have a lot in common.

I'm nervous, but man am I excited. I want to enjoy every second of this.

I think Windhorst actually said it best. It's one thing to have a game plan and strategy to try and stop Lebron, it's a whole different animal trying to beat him 4/7 times. The amount of stress and pressure he puts on the opponent is unmatched.

I just can't see green stopping or even slowing down Lebron.

Butler couldn't stop the guy. and Iquadoa(sp?) has been getting abused by Lebron his entire career.

It's simple. He's really big, really strong, really fast, really smart and just really good.

The Warriors need to do what San Antonio did last year. Let Lebron get his and shut everyone else down.
