I haven't scoured all posts since halftime yesterday. Who is actively calling for Blatt to get fired?

Counter productive to the greater good? Let's scale that back a bit...

When you're dead and completely out of energy- playing mainly six guys and trying to just flat out grind out ugly, physical basketball- you need rest. Shooting the ball with your legs gone from underneath and being out of breath is considerably more low percentage. Your form either suffers or gets over-exaggerated. The two straight back-to-backs hurt. But there will be another back-to-back, and I look at how gassed they were- and think you just have to give a few more breathers. It improves the quality of their play when they get back in.

I'm not lobbying for Perkins. The guy is lumbering and offers zero offense. But with a smaller line-up, I can deal with the risk of having Marion/Miller getting more minutes.

LeBron:
Quote:
James even fielded a question about the player rotation following that game, in which the Cavaliers starters looked tired.

"That's the coach's decision if he decides he wants to go deeper in the bench," James said. "We haven't played many guys throughout this playoff run. I think it would help some of the guys that are playing some high minutes, for sure. Just give guys a couple minutes here, a couple minutes there. But I think the coaching staff will try to do what's best to help us be physically and mentally prepared for Sunday."

Blatt:
Quote:
"(It) was the third game in five days, including the trip back from the West Coast, and it seemed to have an impact on us," Blatt said. "We're thinner now than we were, but that's not an excuse. We haven't used it as an excuse yet, and we won't start now. We've just all got to pick it up."

It's not an excuse. But it's definitely a factor.

I don't know who this author is. I don't take unnamed sources as gospel. But I don't like playing only seven guys. Those little breaks earlier could really pay off later. Like a savings account for our energy.

If you have read my posts over the years, you know I don't complain about the refs. I also agree that some big guys get mauled inside. However, GS has been the beneficiary of both non-calls and calls.

The constant grabbing of the jerseys, holding guys down when they jump, raking across the forearms, moving screens, etc have not been equitable.

I heard a local radio host say that if he could get Blatt to do one thing, it would be to send Kendrick Perkins out there for a minute or two each quarter with the express purpose of committing hard fouls. By hard fouls, I mean somebody being introduced to the floor. Especially Curry, but Green or Bogut would do. They physically abused Lebron and Delly in Game 4 and deserve payback. I think I agree - what do you all think?

I'm all for the physicality that Perk brings, because that is about it. He has no offensive game and he's slow on defense IMO. Let him set some tough screens, get in the paint and throw some elbows and rough some people up, then get him the hell out! I'm all for it.

I actually think that Marion and maybe even Miller should see a tad bit more game time. They've elevated JJ's game time.
