Would the refs actually try and help the Cavs tonight to force a game 7? Is it some unspoken truth of NBA refs? Do they get paid more if they ref a seventh game? As greasy as NBA refs are, it wouldn't surprise me.

They are rehearsing the trophy award should GS win tonight. link
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

Anyone expecting a lineup change tonight? I really wonder if they put Delly on the bench and run JR out there. Less of Delly may actually be more in the long run. It's really tough to do what he does at that level for starter's minutes, let alone starter's minutes in the NBA Finals.
I wouldn't mess with our frontcourt, because Moz and TT are our best frontcourt guys. There's just so little wiggle room with this team. The coaches just don' have much they can do.
With the Blackhawks winning last night and the possibility of this ending tonight, I'll just be happy to get my nights back. I haven't played hockey but once in 2 weeks. I've had 3 games forfeited because of the Blackhawks, and I don't play when the Cavs are in the finals. Although, I'll be thrilled if we have just one more game on Friday. I can live with one more night of pulling my hair out and hating the refs.

Ok, today is the day. Elimination game. We haven't had one of these in a while. Anybody have a good feeling? I'm numb. I can't tell which way the wind in blowing. I'm on a high from the Hawks win last night, so my mind is shot.
If I had to bet, I'd probably throw a $1 on the Cavs because the league will "help" the team get to a Game 7. I know the NHL trend says otherwise, along with GS being the better team the past two games, but I'm trying to believe we can force one more game. I assume you are on a NHL high... we need that good karma..please,

I really wonder if they put Delly on the bench and run JR out there. Who would you put at point then? LBJ I take it? I'm def not opposed to it, it isn't like JR's defense is a liability which before he came here, he was "supposed" to have a horrible defensive side. IDK, I don't pay attention to any team other than the Cavs, but JR as a Cav has had some great defensive moments.

It's really tough to do what he does at that level for starter's minutes, let alone starter's minutes in the NBA Finals. I don't see how they can do that. Dellavedova has done so well against Curry defensively that it would change everything they on defense. It seems like Dellavedova's only elite skill is being able to guard Curry, no one else in the league has done what he has to Curry. Shumpert has seemed disinterested/injured, he would get toasted by Curry. Also, if Delly is out of the game that means that Smith is guarding Thompson. That is an even worse situation than a potential Shumpert/Curry matchup. The Cavs should just do what they did in games one through four and hope it works. Because of their lack of depth they have no more adjustments to make.

I've got a weird vibe we're about to get a mobster performance out of Lebron.

lets keep it in perspective here.
delly has had two games of good defensive play against curry.
the last two games have been.....lets say not kind.

No. He's been great. Even if Curry has scored more the last two he is still working for his shots and not as efficient as usual.

Was that a horrible lob or a horrible layup attempt by Delly?

Shumpert is killing us this series ... But we have no choice
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

i never seen so many 24-sec violation calls in one series in my life They are [obviously] not getting violations on purpose. But holding the ball limits the other team's possessions.

i never seen so many 24-sec violation calls in one series in my life It's hard to blame them. They're running an 8 second offense trying to drain the shot clock down and slow the pace. If the first shot doesn't work, they're in trouble.
