How would you abort a child by accident? That doesn't even make sense. Reminds me a lot of how Republicans thought that if you were really raped your body would shut down. It's amazing that people who say such silly things, who have no idea about the anatomy of a woman, want to tell women how to run their lives.

I find it more surprising that fetuses have yet to say if they're for or against abortion.

I find it more surprising that fetuses have yet to say if they're for or against abortion. People like me speak up for the innocent who can't speak for themselves. Stop the Slaughter! Come to the National Right to Life March in Washington DC this year and walk as I do past the Hundreds and Hundreds of Women holding signs saying "I REGRET MY ABORTION" and see the broken lives of those who CAN speak for themselves! Future generations will look upon the people of this time and call us Barbarians. We waste money all over the world and have the technology to prevent the slaughter of our children yet we fight for the right to continue killing those kids! SHAME!

Rockdawg,
The national defense is a role the government has. Women's healthcare is NOT a role the government has.
Medicaid??? Unless you're saying medicaid is for men only.
The protection of my Constitutional rights is a goal of government. The government has NO role in restricting my Constitutional rights.
Not sure what you're saying, but the government HAS acted in ways that have restricted a woman's right to a legal procedure. If I'm not mistaken if abortion is legal within the first trimester, in spite of extremist who insist that life begins when sperm meets egg.
You mention greedy corporations and wages. It is not the role of the government to determine wages.
Are you saying the government has never legislated the minimum wage???? Didn't Walmart for years exploit employees causing our government to supplement those wages with welfare. I know the extremists believe it's the employees' own damn fault for getting off their asses and getting a job. They should've have stayed home and got a bigger check!
It is the fact that the government has taken on a role with wages and subsidizes poverty through entitlement programs that has created the immoral corporate environment you speak of.
I've read this a few times. Welfare creates immoral corporate environment???
You should be against entitlements, corporate welfare, government regulation, restrictions on your liberties.
"Entitlements" include a variety of spending and much of it isn't money given to help those in poverty.
I'm for a healthy and productive society. If I were to never treat my illnesses I would not last long. The country has an increasing poverty, smaller middle class and a teeny-tiny wealthy class that own and control our wealth.
I do not understand how your reason for government intervention is the corruption caused by government intervention.
I'm not sure what you're saying I'm saying, but it might be that I approve of legislation to create meaningful regulations to prevent any profiteer exploiting legal mumbo jumbo to increase their profits by taking un-needed government funds.
Our government should support the American social well being and not the corporations that, according to the ideas of capitalism, should live and die without government support.

who cares. PP isn't going anywhere. YTown if you don't want an abortion, then don't get one. Boy that was a good one! Why don't you tell that to the baby getting its brains sucked out the back of it's head? If we were to use the same ratio of legal abortions to the brain sucking ones that are continually mentioned as if they happen daily to the gun control issue and the gun's role in taking lives, sometimes with a bullet blowing out the back of a child's head, I think you'd find a larger need for saving the lives of innocent gun victims no matter who's rights are violated rather than eliminating a legal procedure and violating a woman's right.

I wonder if people ever thank God that their own mother didn't decide that they were just a blob to be disposed of?
I wonder how many who are pro abortion would be forgiving if their wife was pregnant, and their wife went into one of these "health centers", and the facility screwed up and aborted their child by accident? I wonder if you'll respond to how Florida has the worst woman's health care despite them having more than a decade of options that aren't PP Considering that so many things could contribute to that, I am not sure how to respond. Where do you get your information from? What criteria do they use? How did they determine which state is "worst"?
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Rockdawg,
The national defense is a role the government has. Women's healthcare is NOT a role the government has.
Medicaid??? Unless you're saying medicaid is for men only. I would never say that. I would say that medicaid is a mismanaged, unethical, and failing program. Medicaid is only an illusion of healthcare. It restricts procedures. It restricts access by forcing physicians to follow government guidelines and rules. It is a mess. Anyone who is forced to go upon medicaid would be better off getting off of medicaid as soon as possible. I am not against abortion. I care less what a woman does. I personally do not find abortion that appealing. I am against the fact that abortion is being used as a conduit to force ME to support it. It is not a right such as 1st and 2nd Amendments are. Would you support government subsidized firearms or government sanctioned speech? The abortion issue is NOT about abortion when it comes to the heart of it. To some it may be but in the end, it is about freedom of the individual not the collective extreme view that abortions should be free and accessible to all who want one. Abortions can be accessible to any who can afford one.
I am saying that the government should NEVER have gotten involved in legislating wages or entitlements. It has lead to companies paying lower wages as employees can subsidies their income with welfare. Companies pay taxes to compensate the government for the welfare but so does everyone else. The burden is not entirely on the companies. The companies then raise their prices on their goods and services to maintain their profit margins. A centralized and government regulated economy cannot and will not lift the worker from the dependency of the state. Its intention is to keep the worker dependent on the state. It is self serving. It is the fact that the government has taken on a role with wages and subsidizes poverty through entitlement programs that has created the immoral corporate environment you speak of.
I've read this a few times. Welfare creates immoral corporate environment??? Yes it does. What is easier for a corporation to do, pay a few congressmen bribes or pay employees more? Government never does anything from the goodness of its heart. It has a goal an purpose. The purpose of entitlements is not to raise the citizen from the depths of poverty, it is to maintain them in poverty. Citizens survived before the entitlement programs and they did not cry out for a check from the government. Corporations enjoy a cheaper, complacent worker who can give the company profits. Companies will always look for ways to expand their businesses and profits. What better way than to have a willing partner, the American citizen, subsidize their labor cost.
I would posit that you would last as long without entitlements. Healthcare costs for you would be cheaper as they would be a greater competition for your services. You are seeing that now as it has begun with doctors now being to make house calls for a flat rate much like uber in the transportation field. The intentions of the entitlement programs is to decrease the middle class, expand the lower class, and increase the wealth of the elitist class. The people writing the legislation are not middle class or poor people. They are the elitist, the statist. Do not blame those who oppose entitlements for poverty. Poverty has been with man for the beginning of civilization. Entitlements are the modern equivalence to the slaver.
I am saying that what you advocate is not freedom and not the founding principles of this nation. The role of government should NEVER be to support the American social well being. The role of government should be to protect the liberties and freedoms of its citizens. You are advocating legislation and regulations on the freedoms of the people of the USA. I submit that your way of thinking is to harm the American people in order to "support" them. Any, I repeat ANY restrictions by the government to the freedom of the American people is Un-American. To cloak any government intervention in the guise of greedy corporations is shady at best and unethical at worst.

i would be forgiving, as my wife has already had one. we talked about it, we both agreed.
did you lose any sleep over it? no. so unless you do, please stop acting like you actually care. unless you plan on paying my bills, you can be quiet about making my wife or mine decision.
i dunno how i would feel about my mom getting an abortion seeing as i wouldn't be alive to think about it. so my response would be....and? Hey buddy I lose sleep over abortions. Yours and others

Why does it have to be one or the other? It doesn't, but it seems that women have been losing their legal rights without much discussion while gun owners seem to be able to protect their rights and sometimes earn more rights without any significant opposition. If someone is "pro-life" to the point of eliminating someone's rights then they should be pro-life about eliminating every right that enables the taking of even one innocent life. Especially the post fetus and fully developed innocent lives.
