http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/109972...lown-proportion.J. Ward says incident behind him 5/28/2014 - NFL Denver Broncos Jeff Legwold, ESPN Staff Writer 175 Shares Email Print Comment ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward, who was charged last week with misdemeanor assault and disturbing the peace at a Denver strip club earlier this month, said Wednesday the incident was "kind of blown out of proportion'' and that he's resolving the matter. Ward, speaking after the first day of Broncos' OTAs, reaffirmed that he only knew a warrant had been issued for his arrest last week for the May 10 incident at PT's All Nude club when he saw news reports. "It was kind of blown out of proportion, now it's being taken care of, it's only basically a ticket or summons,'' Ward said. "It wasn't supposed to be a warrant initially, but there was some miscommunication with the police department and myself. It's all being resolved and [I'm] looking forward to just moving forward. "I didn't think anything was wrong actually until I heard about the warrant,'' Ward continued. "Once I found out, I did everything, cooperated, settled it quickly and it's behind me.'' The 27-year-old was charged with misdemeanor assault and disturbing the peace last Friday for allegedly throwing a glass mug at a female bartender at the club. According to court documents, Ward was seen on video surveillance picking up the mug from the bar and throwing it at the bartender after being told he couldn't bring a drink into the club. The incident occurred at 2:40 a.m. A court date has been set for June 23. Police issued an arrest warrant for Ward last Thursday, and the warrant was dismissed Friday. It's been a bit of a rocky start for Ward, who signed a four-year, $22.5 million deal with the Broncos in March. He is a big part of the team's defensive makeover and the Broncos have touted him as a player with Pro Bowl potential. But for a team that had more than its share of off-field drama last season, an incident at a strip club involving a high-profile free-agent signee certainly got the attention of the Broncos' decision-makers. Ward said Wednesday he had discussed the matter with coach John Fox and executive vice president of football operations/general manager John Elway even before the incident became public. "You just have to be more, I guess, aware of what you do in certain situations and times of the day,'' Ward said. "I've learned from that.''

Broncos Pro Bowl safety T.J. Ward was suspended one game for violating the NFL's personal-conduct policy more than 15 months after an alleged incident at a Denver strip club, sources have told FOX Sports. The sources said Ward was appealing the decision over the past few weeks and the appeal has been denied. He will sit out the team's regular-season opener against the Baltimore Ravens. Police charged Ward with misdemeanor assault and disturbing the peace after he allegedly threw a glass mug at a waitress at PT's All Nude in May 2014, shortly after he signed a four-year, $23 million deal with the Broncos. Last August, the charges against Ward were dropped when he agreed to four hours of community service.............. http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_287...licy?source=rss

Probably get it "Brady-ized." What a dumb thing to do.

Booze can make people do dumb things. I can personally attest to that from my younger days.

Oh no, at the time, it seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do!

" you had me at :threw a beer mug at strip club bartender at 2:40 am:, I knew I always liked T.J. Ward. Hey those strip club ladies aren't on the up and up, they're always trying some shady dealings. Who doesn't want to throw a mug, sometimes, I know I do. NOthing good happens after 2:39 am anyways.

If that glass he threw had a tight spiral and was accurate maybe we need to take another look at him ...

BRONCOS WILL BE FINE WITHOUT T.J. WARD Neil Hornsby explains why starting strong safety T.J. Ward's one-game suspension isn't a big loss. This has been a good preseason for the Broncos’ defense, with first-round draft pick Shane Ray looking like he can be an impactful edge rusher and 2014 undrafted free agent Shaquil Barrett also displaying pass-rushing ability off the edge. The first cloud appeared yesterday in the form of a one-game suspension for strong safety T.J. Ward. His M.O. in Cleveland was as an excellent run-support safety who sometimes struggled in coverage — and generally the further he gets away from the line of scrimmage. That trait continued with the Broncos and was exactly mirrored by his grades last year (overall +1.9 but -7.2 in coverage). He was named to the Pro Bowl, but that’s more of a sad indictment of the way that honor is now awarded than it is a reflection of Ward’s performance. If the preseason is anything to go by, it’s likely his position will be filled by David Bruton in Denver’s Week 1 game against the Ravens. He’s a special teams stalwart, but in the 235 snaps he was asked to fill in last year, he acquitted himself remarkably well, netting a +3.7 grade including +4.5 in coverage. He’s not the force Ward is “in the box,” but may be a better bet when playing with both safeties deep. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/09/04/broncos-will-be-fine-without-t-j-ward/

And nothing good ever happens after 2:30 at a strip club. (and really, at a strip club period) You obviously went to the wrong strip clubs.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Well if you're talking "sin again" I would say no.
