In a way it is. You just have to remember the question I was asking

I did remember, and I just don't agree that it's just that simple,,, cause it isn't!

I agree and yet, look around.. if you mention the lack of talent as the reason for RACs lack of success, you will undoubtly hear that it's an excuse.. How stupid can some people be...

To a certain degree, it is an excuse. It's part fact, part excuse, which is why answering the question of how capable he is becomes so difficult.

He hasn't had much talent, but he has also brought in coaches who were very poor fits. Carthon and Coates are two examples. He made the Carthon mistake worse by not doing anything when it was time. Savage had to do it for him, and that was a huge indictment against him.

RAC has to carry his own cross. He hasn't had much talent, but he hasn't help himself either.

Randy Lerner should just come out and say RAC isn't getting canned mid-season and be done with it. What possible good would it do to engage in some kind of media-inspired Night of the Long Knives this year? I can't recall when firing a coach in mid stream did anything but drive the final nail in the season's coffin.

Give the press something to chew on. Tell them no matter how much they bray and whine the coach isn't getting canned. Then they could focus on Quinn's haircut, last year's meaningless stats, and who's got the hottest cheerleaders.

No, he's junk in general and just needs to go in general

Let's see what tune you sing when Frye should be pulled and he refuses to put Quinn in *L*

Oh come on toad,, are you saying that he has to be perfect.. that he isn't allowed to hire the wrong man once in a while,,, that he can't make a bad call that he can never ever be wrong about anything

My friend, your taking it a little to far when you demand perfection from someone in the field of endeavor that RAC has chosen... it's just plain expecting a bit too much.

RAC doesn't have the luxury of making mistakes.

Then again, maybe you're right. It's Opie that made the mistake by stripping RAC of his ability to choose coaches

I'm of the belief that good/bad coaching will win/lose you around 2-3 games a year. Talent's going to dictate the rest, with a little bit of luck thrown in for good measure. By my watch, Crennel's cost us games, by about a clip of 1-2 a year. He's a terrible game day manager. But - and I'm doing nothing but repeating an ad nauseum side of the argument - he hasn't had the talent. I don't think he'll do much with it once he's got it, but he's looking at a team that - with good coaching - can pull out 7 or 8, which saves him for another year and gives him another chance to get the talent and learn what he's doing...but I'm not counting on that. He needs to start picking up a game or two every year (and I doubt he does).

*L* .. u really dont know me at all bro ...

i wont say a word if BQ dont start and i won't say a word if Frye stinks and we dont put BQ in ..

personally i think Frye is no more than a pawn in all this ... BQ will start when he is ready ... regardless of what Frye does or is doing ... (i think folks that think he can light it up and continue to light it up are DREAMING ... ) ..

when BQ is deemed ready ... the job is his ..... and Frye is just there to keep the seat warm till BQ is ready ...

LOL....No one on this earth but you believes this statement. When you take the BQ poster out of your bedroom, then I'll believe that sentence.

Ya know what could REALLY HAPPEN?
Frye could sputter and they put DA in..after all wasn't it speculated that they wanted DA to win the QB job when Frye got hurt?
And Rac still said they would battle it out..U could see DA get in a few games to see how good a backup he is or Frye is....loser..or maybe I should say winner gets shipped out..

You have to take all of the ones in your bedroom out. You can leave the ones in the living room, kitchen, den and garage.
