Why not just go back to 2 teams!

About 2 years ago, I guessed, what would it be like, if the college whatever it is, "committee"

If the Committee had the ability to decide, whether each years bcs would be
2 teams,
4 teams
6 teams, based on circumstances.

Boy that may have been something, except.
MONEY
Special interest peer pressure

But, that's what we have anyway.

So, we know, the peer pressure interests would never let a year go, if the option were to have 2, 4, or 6,
where there weren't the maximum number of teams.

This year is probably a year where 2 teams makes the most sense.

There were years where there were only 2, where 4 teams made the most sense.
There may have been years where more than 4 teams made sense,

but I don't remember a year since 1988 where 8 teams would make sense at all whatsoever.

I really feel,
they should take conference championships out of it

they should take the conference that a team plays in, out of it.

I would really like to know who people think are the best 4 college football teams this year.

And I don't mean, "most talented" I mean, best ability to win a football game, on gameday, who is the best 4!

There aren't,

This year there are only 2, and nobody's disputing who those 2 are, it should be a one game playoff this year.

But since, it's not. I kind of like Texas A&M, wonder how they'd fare.

I have a question.
I think I saw Texas A&M is 8-1.

Why isn't Texas A&M 10-1?

What a hit in the Bama game

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

So, it’ll be:

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. ?? ... Notre Dame, Texas A&M or Cincinnati?

I think the 4 will be
1 Alabama
2 Clemson
3 Ohio State
4 Texas A&M

With the thrashing ND took today and the comments made by Kelly about not playing if they can't have family in the stands the committee puts A&M in.

I'd go with A&M but my guess is it'll be ND...

They played 9 games...

Well, Obviously!
But the point is, Why didn't they play the other 3,
if we've had to listen to their coach,

for two weeks of soundbites, arguing how a team doesn't face the chances for adversity if they don't play a full schedule?

Come to find out, They didn't even play a full schedule!

So, What happened to the other 3 games! 2 Games! Texas A&M.

Schedule shows you "cancelled OLE MISS" that'd a been a good one, one y'all might have lost.
WHAT HAPPENED THERE!

And, apart from that, they have 3 off weeks

Three OFF weeks? Two in a Row?

Why, I thought they played a full schedule, I'd have thought they'd be the iron-man of every game college football to be making this argument in sports media the last two weeks.

If they're not 10-1, if they didn't even play 10 games then their coach ought to just shut up.

and By the way,
I hope they get in,
I think they'd be fun to watch.

Alabama's defense is not as good. as their offense

Clemsons' offense is not as good. as their defense

But then there is a play like that big turnover right there caused by Alabama in the Alab vs Florida game.

diam I thin Florida is one of the top 3 cfp teams in the country.

Alab,
Florida
Clemson, who else.

oh well, shame they have 3 losses.

They lost 3 games, they are not one of the top 3 teams.

This is a year where the 2 team, One Game playoff would make the most sense.
1 Game, Clemson vs Alabama for the natl. title.

other Bowl matchups

Ohio State vs. Notre Dame.

Florida vs. Texas A&M

Cincinnati/Indiana vs. Oregon/USC

The historical bowl system would be really fun to watch, nice, interesting games.

lol good stuff, thanks for the laughs.

This would actually be the year where an 8 team playoff would make the most sense. But hey, you're entitled to your opinion.

Great offensive game in any other conference...

sec fans "YALL DON'T PLAY DEFENSE"

Alabama 52, Florida, 46

sec fans "LOOH HOW GOOD THOSE OFFENSES ARE"

nobody, and I mean NOBODY, moves the goal posts like sec fans.

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame

If i'm Notre Dame I am not arguing against my team getting that last spot. In fact, I may be arguing against it.

I don't think Ohio State with the state they are currently in, guys shifting in and out, Justin Fields showing flaws, etc.. I don't think they can beat Clemson. So it really seems we are getting Clemson/Alabama XV or however many times they have played

I think ND will sneak in at 4 ... I think money may talk in this instance. Plus, they do have the best win
