at least once? With what pass rusher? The Browns don't really have a speed rush guy unless you count Mingo who's undersized.

The ineffectiveness of the Browns run game is causing the Broncos to blitz almost every single down. we had success early - at least marginal - and we have gotten away from it and went to deeper passing...consequently Denver is blitzing and getting to Josh...

That's the benefit of running the ball; it wears down the defense, slows down the pass rush, and it has the benefit of giving your defense a breather if at least marginally effective.

Don't they usually need an NFL off season with strength and conditioning to be effective? If anything, the Browns usually get gashed on runs that are on the edges near the OLB's, not up the middle.

Our front 7 is hot garbage So far, the Browns defense, has a turnover, and has held the Broncos to 3 earned points. The Browns offense, has given a pick 6, for 7 pts, and a turnover on the first play of a drive, which led to another 3. The Offense, of the Browns, is in need of coaching, talent investment, cohesion, continuity, teamwork, togetherness, and a kick in the pants. Ya Know, After that pick 6, in the first half, the Browns defense stopped em 4 straight times, and this Browns offense, Complimentary football can get even 1 score? No. Not till the 2nd half. ..The offense, the Offense, the Offense, just a hap-hazard group trying to prove it "belongs" in the NFL, not a group that can be said to be the "best" in the NFL. And That There! is why the Browns can't get to 8-8 or a winning season.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Especially at the position he was drafted at.

Why would an NFL staff not know how to handle NFL players and schemes? I would buy the fact that we have change O-Coordinates and D-Schemes and QBs so often that is why...I'd prefer they just say we don't have the right players yet and are building..but to say they are leaning..for some reason that just is a cop-out to me
