He certainly doesn't deliver lines that are carefully formulated for applause and for prime-time sound bites. His style has been called a "word salad." While it really is "word salad", everything else in this statement is false. His delivery is for nothing BUT applause and sound bites. It is crafted in a way that causes all formats of media to give him free publicity and get an emotional reaction from the crowds. All the while dogging the media and making them the demons at his rallies.

doesn't a normal fire blanket do that?
we had those attached to our gun trucks down range. they weren't wet.

Imagine sitting in my backyard. Nice little campfire going. We're gazing out over the pond, into the wilds just beyond. We're having a good time. You and I, and our families. Food, drinks, warmth, all from the fire. (except the drinks). Laughing, joking, talking about how wrong you are on some issues, how right I am on all issues, etc. Then 40 walks up, says "Hey, looks like you guys are having fun. Here's a wet blanket." He throws it on the fire, the fire goes out. Our fun at the fire is over. Work with me here, okay?

and isn't the typical procedure to put out fires is to throw sand on it? as water sometimes makes fires worse?
I've never been camping, or set a fire before.
