What's even crazier.........is they were both talking out their butts and when I showed them evidence of such, they started spinning the wheels of deception.

What evidence did you provide? A quote with Jimmy blowing smoke up peoples ass? Hell he makes them all the time, as do most owners, GM's and Coaches. Have you ever heard an owner say, Man that guy I hired was a bum, he sucks? Have you ever heard one say well this guys not bad but I found somebody better so I'm kicking his ass to the curb? Nope you never hear that either.

I provided a lot more evidence than you provided. What evidence did you provide?

You and Daman [two posters on a message board] making dumb-ass claims is better evidence than the words of the owner and a reporter who covered the team. rofl

I don't believe much of what he says, but I do believe he's trying to build a winner. He's got a ton of money invested. I'm pretty sure he's.

As for these comments about Scheiner, things change. I've had employees that I've stuck by and later had to release for any number of reasons..

1. I believe in what Haslam says..
2. Got to weed our PR from real.
3. Things evolve and move fast once things start settling in someone to make sure all is going well is no longer needed before expectations.

4. Or it can be something due to a scandal for all I know???

I wanna know something. What happened w/the value of the Brown's franchise during Scheiner's regime?

Oh, and I love when someone says I am "making things up" and then asks if I am calling him a liar?

Weird.

1. Value...got know clue I basically look at the football not the accounting.
Where are you making things up...only time I might state that is when you portray my OPINIONS as if you know them better than I even when I don't write them down...and that has been very few occasions.

But don't understand why the liar liar speech. Usually you are straight up and not a liar. That hasn't been a negative virtue that I have seen in you.

He may be referring to me when I call him on putting words in peoples mouths or when he says things that make it sound like it's him against the world. Like he's the smartest guy in a room full of dummies..

Dude you HATED the last Team President that had actual football experience. You LOVED Banner and he was a businessman. He knew next to nothing about football. About the GAME.

Dee Haslam is a high functioning business woman. She's the current CEO of RIVR Media, and RIVR Media Studios. Her company has produced many TV shows. She's is the chair of the board of directors of a Childrens hospital. This is not an unskilled woman when it comes to business. I see zero reason to think she can't do a spectacular job in whatever role she may have with the Browns. I trust her more than I trust her husband on the business side.... Yes, I have no problem with her taking an increased role in things. I'd have no problem with her taking over the entire operation and sending Jimmy back to Tenn.

Joe Banner was once a TV producer and reporter, then he opened a chain of mens clothing stores. He did that until his friend Laurie hired him with the Eagles. How is that any more impressive than Dee Haslam?

Did you know he was NOT A FOOTBALL GUY! If not for the likes of Andy Reed, Banner would be an overpaid bean counter....

Yes, he's so well thought of that his friend of many years, Jeff Lurie fired him and he's not landed another GM or President job with a club since he fired by the Browns..

If he was so smart, someone would have snapped him up in a heartbeat.

Philadelphia has regressed since Banner left. The problems for Philly started when Reid made the power play.

Regardless, Banner still has more experience in the NFL than Mrs. Haslam.

I don't like Banner at all, but I don't believe he lacks the "smarts". I simply don't believe he plays well with others - he is very abrasive.

Why in the hell would you compare Dee Haslam to Banner.. That's just flat out crazy.

He "ran" the business side. Andy Reid did the drafting. Andy Reid and his staff made the football decisions. That's why Banner left. He wanted to show everyone HE could do it. Why do you think we didn't even bother interviewing Reid the year the Eagles let him go? Whatever Banner knows about football he learned it from Andy Reid and Tom Heckert....

I didn't say I preferred her over Banner. I said she has the same kind of business background Banner had when he first started out..... and since you LOVE him why not give the lady a chance? It's not like the men have been doing such a bang up job. How from that you get I prefer her over Banner?

General thought.

( The Fans of the Cleveland Browns, vs the NFL. and the Cleveland Browns)

Court:, What is your case?

F. We wish the Browns to be sold to the Fans, the people of the city of Cleveland, and the people of the state,(great state), of Ohio.

Court:, on what grounds?

F. Exhibits 1-199, every headline since December 2006.

I think these headlines will clearly show that the NFL and the Cleveland Browns have not provided a franchise with any sort of stability or direction, any sense of fortitude or even an Identity.

Furthermore the constant removal and replacement of leadership, ownership, coaching, players, and employees, will clearly show that the people involved in each step of the process did not have the City of Cleveland's best interest, or the teams best interest, or the fans best interest in mind; and on that note, only treated their time with the Cleveland Browns franchise as a pit stop, or stepping stone, on a long career that started and will finish outside of the city, and away from this teams interests.

This team has had 5 or more owners or acting owners.
5 or more head coaches. 5 or more general managers. 13 or more quarterbacks. 5 or more coaches for each coordinator position. 5 or more team presidents. 5 or more directors of player personel.
They have had dozens of players at every skilled position, and while common, what is uncommon is that since 2006 not a single player on the Cleveland Browns will retire a Brown, with any sort of notable career, except maybe Josh Cribbs, or Joe Thomas.

I think this evidence clearly shows, that the NFL, the Cleveland Browns, and the plethora of people running this team, from outside of Cleveland, only to spend a few years in Cleveland and then leave, have not demonstrated a commitment to the interests of the city, the fans, and the game of football, which is a teams duty, and purpose to exist.

Therefore, in the name of Justice, and in accordance with the law, we ask the court to force the NFL in accordance with its Anti-trust status, to sell the Cleveland Browns, to the Fans of the Cleveland Browns, the people of the City of Cleveland, and the people of the state of (great state of) Ohio.

Court: Did the team play all of it's games?
F. yes
Court: Did the team forfeit any of it's games?, or defraud any ticket holder of the rights to attend said games?
F. no

Court: case thrown out.

( From the back wall of the Court:) wait wait wait wait wait!

Court: Did the team put fourth a product in accordance with the nature of football in an attempt to win and keep the team name in good standing by attaining to the goals of success?

F. OH my gosh you are hilarious! NO! stop making me laugh. No they did not.

Court: So you are arguing, are you arguing that there is a violation of contract, on the grounds that they did not even try?

F. Hmm. Can we review exhibits 1-199, every headline since December 2006 pertaining to the Cleveland Browns?

****

Who could blame him? I mean when you bring in a baseball guy and give some lawyer with zero personnel experience the reigns, why wouldn't Alex feel he was just as qualified?

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

jc...

Our best GM since the return was Heckert. Too bad he had a lazy bum for a boss.

Our next best GM was Banner (I know Lombardi was the GM in title).

In true Browns fashion, they got run out of town faster than a Ferrari.

And this regime will get run out too.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I know he wanted more control of the Football part - buddy buddy with Farmer watching film with coaches. He was going to clash with Hue...I'm sure.

Didn't know him much but didn't trust him much - I saw a lot of the bad things from Banner...with not much of the Good!

I have no idea, but I think Scheiner was lobbying for more power even before the baseball dude got here. I think that started during Pet's first year.

Just a guess from disseminating all the various reports over the past few years.

The buddy buddy comment was in going into Coaches films sessions on Monday. I didn't mean it to sound that they did BBQ's together.

Just they attended those sessions together...I chose the word Buddy Buddy.
