I've been watching videos on Ghost Recon Wildlands. I really can't wait for that one to come out. Sounds like it's going to be 2017 at the earliest though.

I'm still playing my PS3. I need to finish the Uncharted series and I still like playing Hot Shots Golf (World Invitational - online purchase only $19).

I'll eventually get a PS4 or an Xbox1, but that depends on when/if the next EA Skate and GTA comes out. I really like first person shooters, but I need a break after playing them a lot recently.

I miss playing college football a lot. It's too bad EA doesn't just release a version without the players stats and likenesses. They can make OSU still very good, but randomize the players so nobody can sue. And for the record, I agree with the O'Bannon lawsuit. EA lied about the usage of the players for years and eventually a player stood up and fought it.

They could easily make another game, because there are hardcore players of that game who actually create full profiles of every single player in the game, complete with their real name. So you could make a game with fictional characters and just bank on those guys showing up. NCAA has had that cult following forever. It would not go away, and the courts couldn't do a thing about it.

I don't play those games for the current players anyway, anyone who plays NCAA does it to recruit randomly generated prospects and build a powerhouse.

I think the other thing is, I don't disagree with the O'Bannon lawsuit, but when it comes to the video games, I think even the football players who will play college and not even sniff the NFL or NFL money, they'd gladly waive the small check they'd get for seeing their name or at least likeness in a football game. My cousin was in NCAA 2005, and I don't think he cares about the money he lost on being paid for the game. It's just a cool thing to be able to tell people.

I think I have said it before, but my cousin works for EA, and he told me it will eventually be back. It's hard to really streamline the process because Madden sells so much better.

Draft Champions is a pretty cool concept.

Wish Icould just do one and done team though, as I don't care about advancing to win mor MUT packs I'll never use..

Currently waiting on a 5.4 GB update for WWE2K16...

Haven't seen one, yet... but I'm still maybe only 15% of the way through the campaign.

Yes, Hell Knights are as fearsome, terrifying and bad-assery as you might remember.

I'm definitely going to give DOOM a try at some point.

I'm currently away at work on the tugboat, and I purposely only bring my WiiU with me (helps me get better sleep, lol). But when I think I'll be bringing back my PS4 soon. Too many games I need to get caught up on.

But before I play Doom, I certainly need to get going on the new Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank.

But Doom will certainly be given a go. Game looks like a lot of fun. I've read negative reviews, but most of that seems to be about multi-player, which I'm not that into

The Division players, it's actually kinda really fun making a high skill power gear build, going into the Dark Zone and hitting people with the sticky bomb haha. If it doesn't drop them instantly, it makes it where a few bullets will finish the trick.

I killed ten rouges over the weekend haha. This game is platinum for me.

Jets’ Petty: My Abilities On Madden Football Show I’m Improving

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — If it’s in the game …

With the Jets’ quarterback situation in flux due to the continued contract impasse with Ryan Fitzpatrick, it stands to reason that someone other than the grizzled veteran could be the starting quarterback come the regular season opener against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 11.

Bryce Petty, the second-year signal-caller out of Baylor, seems to think he has improved enough to be the man. He told NJ Advance Media on Monday that his abilities on EA Sports’ popular Madden video game are proof.

“For me, where I was when they drafted me last year to where I am now, it’s night-and-day difference,” Petty said of his development. “For me, it’s a process. Just watching film, I’m seeing things.

“I played Madden the other day, and it’s not just picking run plays anymore. It’s like, ‘Oh, they’ve got an under front (on defense).’ You start picking up things differently. That’s exciting for me,” he added.

Petty was taken in the fourth round of the 2015 draft and the consensus has always been that it would take him some time to get down the nuances of a pro-style offense, considering he played in a spread offense in college. While his arm strength is very good, reading defenses at the next level is no easy task.

Just ask former second-round pick Geno Smith, who made a combined 30 appearances for the Jets in 2013 and 2014 but was a turnover machine. Smith played in just one game last season after losing his job to Fitzpatrick late in the preseason due to having his jaw broken in a locker room fight with a teammate.

Yet because of the ongoing issues with Fitzpatrick, the player the Jets really want as their starting quarterback, Petty, Smith or Christian Hackenberg, the team’s second-round pick in this year’s draft, could be the starter Week 1.

“For me, I’ve got to go out and prove that they made the right choice the year before,” Petty said.

To his credit, Petty has gained the attention of Jets offensive coordinator Chan Gailey.

“He made big strides in one year,” Gailey said Monday at a charity golf outing hosted by the Jets’ David Harris.

So for laughs at my expense... yesterday I turned the ps4 on only for it to shut right back off. It wouldn't even power back up. So here I am, knowing I have no warranty lol and likely SOL, thinking the worst... just ended up being my power cable into the wall was almost falling out and disconnected hahahahahha.

My cats must've gotten back behind the TV and jarred some stuff loose. But whew, close call.

That's just not funny at all man. What a scare. I would have freaked out, lol.

I've been watching people on Twitch play The Witcher Wild Hunt, and I am close to caving in and getting it. 30 bucks on amazon right now. What a beautiful looking game too.

Witcher was truly one of the best games I've played. My best advice to you is... don't consider, just buy it. Buy it now.

I'll preorder any Witcher games, if they make anymore.

Agreed. Never played Witcher 1, but Witcher 2 was very good. And Witcher 3 was phenomenal. Best current console gen game I've played so far

JC: I'm playing the PS4 Ratchet and Clank right now. Game's pretty good. It's all well done with an interesting story. I wouldn't say it's one of the best games out (I'd have to give that to Witcher 3, Fallout 4, or Bloodborne, and I'm playing Uncharted 4 after I finish this one), but it's a fun game.

Everything is polished and the story is fun. It's a fun game all-around. Although it's not like one of the ones I mentioned before, where I can play 4 hours straight, get lunch, play another four hours, and hope my wife wants to do her nails or read a book so I can get some time in at night.

But I would recommend it. It's fun, challenging, well-made, with a good story.

I have not played video games in literally a month..

Every time I turn it on I end staring at my phone for a few minutes and fall asleep..

What a waste of Xbox Live..

I've been the #1 Contender to the NXT title for 4 months..

The first month I didn't get a title shot.

The 2nd month I lost to Kevin Owens because the submission system is stupid.

The 3rd month I didn't get a title shot.

The 4th month after a long back and forth match, after hitting two finishers on him, he countered a move with a leg sweep, pinned me, and I wasn't allowed to kickout..

Here goes another month of beating him every other show only to lose a stupid match at the PPV.

I like playing Destiny with the kids and their little group they have to do all the missions.

Felt like I was to damn old to be playing video games but the kids asked and I ended up really liking Destiny.

It's around. Hasn't been a new one in years, but I believe there are still some communities around these games.

I can not for the life of me defeat Kevin Owens when the title is on the line..

I'll beat him 3-4 times before that, leading up to the PPV. But then we have this great match and I'm trying to set up my 3rd or 4th finishing move and bam, he hits something and it's over..

Sigh.

RTS type games have really died down over the years, but a lot of people feel they could make a comeback.

BTW, if you download Origin, you can buy the entire series of C&C for like 10 bucks. It's an awesome deal, and great for sentimental value.

That's one of the same ways my best buddy and I stayed connected when I was in Illinois and he was in CT. We'd get on the phone together with bluetooths and do the group missions, lol

That game wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. It just fell victim to its own hype and didn't have a story.

It could have been made so much better though. Graphics were great and the gameplay mechanics were really good. Levels were well made and I thought the enemies were good.

Unfortunately, it's as if the game was rushed or they made the game without having a full planned out story in mind. I just couldn't figure it out, and I like stories which make me feel connected to the game.

Currently I'm playing Uncharted 4, that game's great. Beautiful, great story (so far), good gameplay. I'm emotionally involved and everything. I just get the feeling it's gonna be short (and I don't play through single players twice usually).

I've got Evil Within on deck for after I beat Uncharted 4 though.

Ratchet and Clank was real good too (beat that a week or two ago). I picked that up for 30$ at Best Buy. Well worth it. Bout 15 hours long prob. But very entertaining, and it was my first Ratchet and Clank game

Oh, I'm very excited. I also just picked up Doom off EBay for like 25.50$ incl shipping (Used - Like New no case).

So I think I'm set for my next two games after I beat Uncharted 4.

I'll be bringing them to the tugboat I work on, and playing in my room at night with the lights off. It's gonna be crazy, lol

It just needs a makeover. There isn't enough emphasis on team-building and the draft. When you play through a season in a franchise mode, you only have 16 games to play, so there's room to make a really cool, deep system where you scout college talent, and develop your young players. They just need to figure it out.

I also feel very separate from the rest of the league.

Like you have to put effort in every week to figure out what's happening. Who's good, who got hurt, etc.

Their "News" page is stupid. Has been for a couple years.

I used to be able to run through 10 seasons and not be bored, now I don't even feel like finishing one..

Picked up Zelda Ocarina of Time the other day for N64 and played for a couple hours last night. The feeling of nostalgia was high, wow I forgot how perfect the game was. Before I knew it, I had acquired my sword\shield combo and was fighting a boss in the Deku tree, going off to see princess Zelda at the Hyrule castle. Great stuff. Just beginning the journey and feel like I'm in for a real treat.

Back in the 90's when I was younger I remember finishing the water, fire temples, and some others, but not actually beating the game. This time I will and it should be very fun!

I did this with the original Final Fantasy a few years back.... it was awesome smile

I've lately actually been playing the original Master of Orion quite a bit. Old school games rock.
