Good for you. Cheap shots that somehow make you clever. This smarmy media truck whenever Cleveland comes up is way overdone and pervasive beyond necessary coverage. Getting off the stump, but kicking a team when it is down shows no class.
Better now. Time for my meds. smirk

There is a brief mention of Gordon in this SI article on Ricky Williams, but this picture caught me off guard:

Here's the article:

Ricky Williams on weed, drug testing, NFL career

For people too lazy to click the link, Ian Rapaport:

Sources: Commissioner Roger Goodell met with #Browns WR Josh Gordon yesterday regarding his return to football. Gordon can reapply on Aug. 1

We'll see what happens. I have little hope regarding Gordon when it comes to anything

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

It's a plus if he comes back in form or can get back to form. It's only a negative if he can't and we allow it to occupy out thoughts.

Not sure what the Browns will do, but if they handle him like they did Johnny Manziel, once reinstated, he'll be released.

It would be kind of wacky to have Griffin, Gordon, and Coleman all on our starting offense. Heck, Drango has a chance to crack the lineup, too. Why not call up Terrance Ganaway or Lache Seastrunk?

One thing I just wanted to bring up is that recent studies have shown that there is a possibility of Marijuana removing plaque from the brain and helping with alzheimers. Now I have known a lot of players over the years that smoked pot and said it helped with recovery from games and I gotta wonder if this may very well be true. If there is just a minimal chance that this could help prevent long term problems from football, I think the NFL should remove marijuana from their list of banned substances.

I've never asked this of anyone, but when medical Marijuana is prescribed, what is the condition(s) it's generally prescribed for?

I've heard in passing that it helps with the side effects of Chemo or Radiation and with Glaucoma.. Anything else?

Marijuana has been very hard to legally study and no real studies have proven this tie, but it is hypothetical. Earlier this year Eugene Monroe was the first active player to advocate for medical marijuana. He was later cut from the Ravens and retired today. Both his articles on The Player's Tribune were amazing.

With the increasing tempo of legalization of marijuana across the U.S., I think it should be removed, period. Regardless of any potential ancillary benefits of its use, real or imagined.

It isn't a performance enhancing substance, it is simply a banned substance because of the War on Drugs and the need for the League to pursue a positive public image. The days of that being valid for the NFL are long past and they should just remove it from the list.

While I do agree with you, this is the easiest drug of all to quit. I found this habit much easier to kick than smoking the cigs that contained nicotine. I've done both, and I quit the dope just to keep my crappy 35k a year job, so I just don't understand why this is so hard for Josh to understand. Put down the dope for a couple years, make millions. Seems simple enough to me.
