I don't see a QB worthy of a #1 overall either. That has been the feeling almost every year except the Andrew Luck year.. unless Kessler really studs out the rest of the year, and we draft there, we have to take one. Here is a list of QBs taken 1/1 since 1999: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/pl...rder_by=defaultLooking at the list, I would say that most were shoe-ins to be the #1 pick during the season (Vick, Carr, Palmer, Eli, Stafford, Bradford, Luck, and Winston). Usually there is a clear number one guy all season long. There is not one this year. And in the years where there was no shoe-in for #1 overall pick.. we got: 2014 - Bridgewater, Carr, Garoppolo 2013 - Manuel and Smith 2008 - Flacco and Ryan 2006 - Young and Leinart 2000 - Brady There are about 5 guys on that list I would give our #1 overall pick next year to get (assuming we were getting them as rookies).... even in the years where there was a shoe-in #1 QB pick, those drafts also gave us guys like Wentz, Wilson, Prescott, Roethlisberger... My point being, there will very likely be a QB worthy of the #1 overall pick regardless of how he is rated going INTO the draft, we just have to find him.

The talent level in the NFL is so close you know as well as I do that anything can happen and usually does. I know that you are a diehard Browns fan and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! My biggest fear is the FO selects a QB with the first pick out of fear of not having a franchise QB and not because he's actually worth that pick. Just because someone is the best QB in the draft doesn't make him a legit NFL QB prospect.
That's not to say one of the college QBs in this class isn't. I'm just leery based on what I've seen thus far.
Fear not.....we'll most likely trade our top pick for later mediocre or dud picks as usual.
