So we are trying to drum up or mine some value out of this? Just appalling. Can you terminate or settle for chronic stupidity? Again with Gordon. . . .

We as an organization should just forget about him. He does have talent, he showed us that, but IMO it's just not worth the headaches. We've had enough of them.

Jets’ Cromartie, wife expecting twins

Antonio Cromartie is about to add some depth to his family roster.


The wife of the Jets cornerback posted a sonogram photo on Twitter that suggests the pair is expecting twins. That would make it 12 kids for Cromartie, with four from his wife, and eight others with seven different women.

Terricka Cason, who goes under the Twitter handle @iluvTERRICKA, has been receiving congratulations from followers since posting the photo Tuesday. That included one from Jets linebacker Bart Scott’s wife.

"Identical twins run in my Family," Cason wrote alongside the photo.

"Without the lies i’ll tell u anything u want to kno just ask me.. Ive always been an up front person.. Oh yea we are expecting twins in NOv," she wrote in another tweet.

Cromartie and Cason recently had a son, Jagger, who joined sister Jurzie. Cromartie has not mentioned the news on his Twitter account, but did wish Jurzie a happy second birthday.


Cromartie has been criticized for his large brood, and that has only grown since he seemed to struggle to remember the names of some of his kids when the Jets were on HBO’s "Hard Knocks" in 2010.

He defended himself after the show’s airing, saying producers had asked him to pause between each name.

The Post reported on Sunday that some of Cromartie’s other baby mamas are interested in doing a reality television show featuring the kids, but Cromartie has balked at the possibility.

Sad thing is lots of these guys are changing that old tune---Who's your Daddy---now it's Who's you Momma---I don't remember your name or hers.....sad, JMHO, Wilt the Stilt claimed to have bedded 20,000 women- imagine how many possible kids he had......maybe today's pro jocks aren't as bad as those in the good old days.....GO Browns!!!!

I can agree completely. Might play him to up his value, but not convinced it is possible. Get something, if possible; move on.

At the time I liked the guy. I really believed he was the answer. I couldn't have been more wrong. He really had me snowed. He set us back at least 5 years. Then we got stuck with Banner/Dumbardi and Farmer dumbass. SO many wasted picks. If we hit on HALF the first round picks that were wasted we'd be in the playoff hunt right now. I just hope the current FO is an improvement. I don't expect great. I would happily settle for competent. Average. Not a joke....

From the tone of a few other posts, this is what I’m guessing:

The NFL has not made or indicated when it will make any decision about Gordon’s future as an NFL player.

1) Gordon is currently under indefinite suspension.
2) An NFL decision could be made at any time regarding Gordon.

- The NFL decision could be made tonight or in 5 years, or never

3) The decision could range from immediate reinstatement to lifetime ban.

Is this correct? Are there any certainties? Is there a possibility Gordon could play in 2017?

I think you pretty much covered it. The only news you will hear is if/when the NFL decides what it's going to do.

Not if Josh does something else newsworthy before then.

If he's reinstated, don't cut Gordon, and don't count on him. If he ends up on the team, pretend he's the 5th receiver. He owes us two more years on the cheap. And that's what we should get out of him.

After that, I'm not concerned

Josh made Brandon Weeden look like he was a decent QB merely by having massive YAC #'s.

Can't imagine the guys we have are any worse than Weeden was.
