IN all honesty, I'll take your and Diam's word for it.. But really, I didn't see any videos on Fox, CNN or any of the normal stations.
FCC rules, too graphic for tv. That is why they couldn't show it.

Whoops,,, looks like it's not me listening to Liberal news. It's more likely that 40 and Diam are only paying attention to FOX news.. I particularly like the comments about Mike Pence... http://www.npr.org/2016/01/28/464594826/...al-tissue-sales
Planned Parenthood Investigations Find No Fetal Tissue Sales
January 28, 201612:47 PM ET
Once again this week, an investigation into Planned Parenthood's alleged sale of fetal tissue came up empty.
A grand jury in Harris County, Texas, voted to indict in a state investigation of Planned Parenthood. But it didn't indict the reproductive rights organization. In an unexpected turn, the grand jury indicted two anti-abortion activists from the Center for Medical Progress. That is the organization that famously last year released videos that it said depicted Planned Parenthood illegally trying to sell fetal body parts.
The videos served as a major rallying point for Americans opposed to abortion. They fueled a threat to shut down the government as well as a push in several states to cut funding to Planned Parenthood.
They also inspired a wave of investigations. After the videos' release last summer, a number of states quickly decided to look into whether the tissue sale the videos purported to show was happening within their borders.
Despite all the worry, state investigations have yet to find any evidence that Planned Parenthood was selling or profiting off fetal tissue. Twelve states have completed investigations into Planned Parenthood following the videos' release, according to the organization.
Here's what happened in each of those cases:
Florida
In July 2015, Florida Republican Gov. Rick Scott ordered a state investigation to see whether Planned Parenthood was "selling body parts," Politico Florida reported at the time. On Aug. 5, the agency investigating the clinics released its findings, saying that none of the state's Planned Parenthood sites had been selling tissue or body parts. However, the investigation did find that one clinic out of Florida's 16 wasn't correctly keeping its records of fetal remains. In addition, three were found to have been performing second-trimester abortions while only being licensed to perform abortions in the first trimester, according to Politico. Planned Parenthood disputed this, arguing that the state had changed the rules on how it measured the first trimester, as Reuters reported. Though it briefly looked like the state and Planned Parenthood agreed on the issue, Politico reported, the organization was fined in September 2015.
Georgia
Republican Gov. Nathan Deal on July 16, 2015, asked the state's Departments of Community Health and Public Health to investigate whether Planned Parenthood was engaging in the "horrific practice" that the CMP's videos claimed to depict. On Aug. 13, the Department of Public Health reported that all five of the clinics had "proper procedures in place for burial or internment of [fetal] remains," as NPR member station WABE reported.
Indiana
In July 2015, Republican Gov. Mike Pence asked the state Department of Health to investigate the state's Planned Parenthood clinics, to see whether they were engaging in any sale of fetal tissue, local TV station WTHR reported. Weeks later, the department said it had "concluded there was no evidence of this type of activity" at three Planned Parenthood facilities in the state, as the Indianapolis Star reported. Kansas
On July 21, 2015, Republican Gov. Sam Brownback asked his state's Board of Healing Arts "to address the issue of sale of tissue and organs from the unborn" at Planned Parenthood facilities, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported. This month, the board said it had "determined no further action would be taken at this time," per the Associated Press.
Massachusetts
On July 17, 2015, Republican state Rep. James Lyons sent a letter to Democratic state Attorney General Maura Healey, asking her to launch an investigation into whether Planned Parenthood was participating in fetal tissue sales like those the CMP video purported to show, as the Boston Herald reported. On July 29, Healey responded in a statement that the state's Planned Parenthood sites were "fully compliant with state and federal laws regarding the disposition of fetal tissue" and were not participating in any fetal tissue donation, though it is legal in that state, as the Boston Globe reported.
Michigan
On July 16, 2015, Republican state Sen. Phil Pavlov asked the state to investigate "to determine whether or not any Michigan-based facilities have participated in the horrifying sale of babies' body parts," MLive reported. In October, the two departments handling the investigations issued a statement, saying that "there is no evidence to date that illegal practices are occurring," MLive reported.
Missouri
On July 21, 2015, Democratic Attorney General Chris Koster started an investigation, saying that "the questions raised by [CMP's] videos require careful review," local TV station KMBC reported. In September, a release from Koster's office said the investigation turned up no "irregularities involving the transmission, examination, or disposal of the fetal organs and tissue" from abortions at the state's one clinic that performed surgical abortions, as the New York Times reported.
Nevada
In September 2015, Nevada Republican Attorney General Adam Laxalt sent a letter to Nevada Planned Parenthood facilities. Mentioning the videos, the letter asked the sites about their abortion procedures and also asked if they donate fetal tissue, as the AP reported. In December 2015, his office closed the investigation, saying that the facilities weren't performing surgical abortions and that there also wasn't evidence of tissue donation, according to the AP.
Ohio
In mid-July 2015, Ohio Republican Attorney General Mike DeWine announced that he was launching an investigation into whether any Planned Parenthood clinics in the state were selling fetal parts, according to Cleveland.com. In December, the state released the investigation, revealing that there was no evidence of any such sales. However, investigators did find that fetal remains were disposed of via incinerators or landfills, which, while not illegal, DeWine claimed "violate[d] Ohio administrative code," as Cleveland.com reported. (An Ohio Planned Parenthood official disputed his claim.)
Pennsylvania
In July, two Republican state legislators asked the state attorney general to investigate whether Planned Parenthood in Pennsylvania was selling fetal tissue, Philly.com reported. In August, state Health Secretary Karen Murphy responded in a letter that there was no evidence that any Pennsylvania facilities were buying, selling or donating fetal tissue, as The Hill reports.
South Dakota
In July 2015, Republican state Attorney General Marty Jackley instructed the state Health Department to investigate whether fetal tissue sales were occurring at Planned Parenthood, the AP reported. On Aug. 11, 2015, Jackley told the Associated Press that "there are no reports, complaints or inspection records that would demonstrate any evidence (of) illegal activity in South Dakota at this time."
Washington
In late July 2015, 34 Republican lawmakers wrote a letter asking Democratic Attorney General Bob Ferguson to investigate whether the state's Planned Parenthood clinics were selling fetal parts, the Seattle Times reported. In November, Ferguson reported that the state had found no evidence that the state's affiliates were selling fetal tissue. Washington is home to one of only two clinics (the other being in California) that Planned Parenthood says currently donate any fetal tissue to researchers.
In addition, eight states (California, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Virginia) decided not to pursue investigations into the videos' allegations.
Investigations Still Ongoing
Not that the investigations are over — Arizona and Louisiana, for example, still have investigations in progress, according to Planned Parenthood. And in Texas, Abbott likewise said after this week's indictment that a state investigation into Planned Parenthood will continue.
"The Health and Human Service Commission's inspector general and the attorney general's office have an ongoing investigation into Planned Parenthood's actions," Abbott said. "Nothing about today's announcement in Harris County impacts the state's ongoing investigation."
In addition, the Ohio Senate this week voted to block government funding to Planned Parenthood. CMP's videos factored heavily into the debate over that bill, which will go to Republican Gov. John Kasich, who is firmly anti-abortion and is expected to sign it.
Keep in mind, this article was Jan, 28, 2016 so a year and a half has gone by. I'm not going to look to see where the investigations are at now, because I think my initial reading about it being debunked was correct. Time you two stopped believing only what Brietbart, Infowars and FOX tells you... Time to open up your minds a little and time for you to stop belittling people with a different view point.

They'll just call it fake news because it doesn't support what they want to believe. Haven't you learned that yet?

So you answered one question, what about the good they do, or do you just want to be one sided?
You mean like the Drug Dealer who gives out free samples good? You mean like Hitler good who helped his people through the depression and returned pride to them after their WWI defeat but murdered Jews?

It took me longer to copy and paste that article and add comments then it did to find it. Anyone can do it. But yeah, I expect them to belittle NPR as being FAKE NEWS... That's how it works. Show them the facts, they attack the source.

These three flimsy claims, which amount to the vast majority of Planned Parenthood’s self-defense in the wake of the CMP videos, are in reality completely demolished by the facts. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/438207/planned-parenthood-videos-debunking-debunkersRead the article for all the evidence, the taped and Video conversations. The National Review is highly respected and this report is from July 22nd 2016. The Truth will set you free.

I wonder if these are the same polls that had libs ljumping for joy .... even the EXIT POLLS were wrong .... And if they where? You do know the polls were right on and within the normal margin of error. Remember 2 million more popular votes than the GOP candidate. And don't bother with the Electoral slop. They don't poll the Electoral.

Guess that is the end of the conversation you wanted to have then.

This is one fight I have so little knowledge of. Best for me to stay out of it, but I'd like to make a simple point.
Go back to a time in your lives when you were teenagers.. Remember what it was like to try and get lucky by the dashboard lights and tell me how good you'd be keeping your legs closed or your pants zipped.
Just saying, it's youth doing what youth does.
Yes and they should be punished for the rest of their lives by struggling to raise a child while they themselves are borderline children with no work experience or training. That'll teach them a good life lesson. And the child they raise will obviously be raised in such stability it surely will have a great life plan in its teens too. Utopia achieved! All purple. Deeeeep deeeeep purple. I'm not so sure the ends justify the means here. By that I mean justifying the legality of an abortion so the mother can have a less dangerous means of getting the operation performed. That same logic applied elsewhere in the law would be akin to justifying meth addicts receive an injection from a licensed physician to ensure a clean needle and the proper dosage. In the end, someone is still getting meth. The whole hot debate that I've seen in the abortion realm revolves around whether a fetus can be considered a human being or not. That would be the borderline of their constitutional protection. For me, considering that corporations are "people" yet a fetus is not a human being is baffling. Roe was justified on a woman's right to privacy with the backing that "human being" was not clearly defined. It's an emotionally charged topic for me, personally, because I have kids and I remember what it was like to see their hearts beat on the monitor. I do understand and respect that not everyone shares this view. As far as struggling to raise a child or the upbringing of a child, there are alternative options which would allow the child to be raised elsewhere. I know that nothing is ideal here. On the flip side of your argument are the many teens who live a lifetime of regret after going through the procedure. It's a very tough situation. However, justifying it as a means to allow the pregnant mother a clear path forward I also feel is an inadequate solution. If a teen makes a bad decision and drives a car while texting, and kills someone, there's no clear path forward. I apologize for going on and on, but I view the fetus as a constitutionally protected person, and I don't view the end as justifying the means. JMHO.

In the end, someone is still getting meth. Not to derail, but in the case of giving addicts drugs we actually give people opioids to "cure" heroin/opioid dependency in the form of methadone/suboxone/etc. None of them actually get the user off opioid dependency, the only way to get off opioids is to get off of them and stay off of them for a minimum of 12 months so your body can normalize to your brains regular dopamine intake.

And as far as the Trump Polls are concerned... Trump credits 'fake news,' administration wins for strong basePresident Trump took to Twitter early Monday suggesting that the “Fake News Russian collusion story” has driven his base “even closer together”— this, while slamming the media and their “fake news polling.” “The Trump base is far bigger & stronger than ever before (despite some phony Fake News polling),” Trump tweeted, pointing to his campaign-style rallies over the past few weeks. “Look at rallies in Penn, Iowa, Ohio and West Virginia.” The president said “fake news” is responsible for the size of his base. “The fact is the Fake News Russian collusion story, record Stock Market, border security, military strength, jobs, Supreme Court pick, economic enthusiasm, deregulation & so much more have driven the Trump base even closer together. Will never change!” He added: “Hard to believe that with 24/7 #Fake News on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NYTIMES & WAPO, the Trump base is getting stronger!”

I apologize for going on and on, but I view the fetus as a constitutionally protected person, and I don't view the end as justifying the means. JMHO. Thanks for the rational reply. I understand the huge conundrum. I personally have never had to make such a choice in my or my partners' life. My hope would be that those that choose to make that choice have it weigh on them. It should be a very difficult choice. It should be taken as a lesson. It should be carried with that couple for the length of their lives. Much like many hard lessons we learn along our time on this rock. That said I think it needs to be a choice. I also think it's best when that choice is made it's the safest medical procedure for the woman to go through. Not some back alley butcher. As to your comparison to the junky getting their fix at the doctors office. Different game all together. An injection is a basic skill that anyone given less than 10 minutes of instruction can accomplish safely. An abortion is a medical procedure. To add, just because doctors aren't providing the injections or the drugs doesn't mean there are no drugs for the junky to use or lack of willingness to learn the required self injection skill. See, illegality doesn't stop the junky from getting what they feel they need. Anymore than making abortion illegal will stop those with unwanted pregnancies to seek their 'fix'. So do we work from an emotional place of denial of the realities of life and the human condition, thinking if we make stuff illegal it'll just go away? Or do we work from a rational place and accept that certain human conditions have, and will always exist? That there will be junkies. So maybe providing needle exchange programs to keep the cost of HIV, HepC and other such preventable outcomes from becoming rampant and costly is the best measure for the community. Or accepting that a small percentage of women/couples will have an 'oh crap' moment when they pee on a stick, and they shouldn't have to risk having a medical procedure done in someone's basement 'clinic'. Again my hope is that a decision to terminate a pregnancy is a tough one. I just can't see how not having the choice makes our community safer?

I guess I really don't understand the point here. As of now, abortions are legal. Now I won't give my opinion on that matter as I don't believe that has anything to do with my point here.
I have no problem with people who feel that abortions are wrong, or for that matter consider it murder. I can understand and can see their point.
But what dos any of this have to do with people who are following and observing the law of the land? NO federal dollars are being used for abortions. The SCOTUS decides abortion laws, not planned parenthood. To me it's just a way for people to target an agency that is complying with a law they don't agree with.
If you're against abortion, then do something to help compel the court to overturn Row vs Wade. Don't target someone who is simply following the law of the land that does so much to help women other than simply supplying abortions.

I don't think I'm arguing against your point there. At least it was not my intent. I'm just talking about whether I think it should be legal or not. Of course the SC said it was legal. I'm not arguing whether or not it is currently considered legal by our government or punishment of those who get it performed.
Portland: I appreciate the dialogue. You're a well thought poster. I think we just disagree on an ideological level. I didn't mean to go down the drug usage route too far. I was just bringing it up as a parallel. It perhaps was not the best, but it was what came to mind while I was at work. The whole point was that I don't believe the ends justify the means.
The choice aspect is at the root of our ideological disagreement. I don't view the fetus as part of the woman,s body. I view it as a person who has constitutional protection. My beliefs probably evolve from that foundation and become much more complex.
I'm with you that it should be a complex decision and I think both sides are hampered by extreme examples. For instance, on one side you have the rape and incest. On the other side, you have a seemingly sociopathic case of someone who totally disregards responsibility and has multiple abortions.
Good dialogue, man.

So you prefer that instead of teaching our kids that there are consequences for their actions, and they need to do the mature thing and be responsible for their actions. You would rather teach them that it's perfectly fine to murder somebody if it makes your life easier.

Poll: Trump support eroding with his baseBy HENRY C. JACKSON 08/07/2017 A new poll shows Donald Trump’s support dropping among his strongest supporters as he hits the 200-day mark of his presidency. In a fresh survey from CNN, conducted by the independent research company SSRS, Trump’s “strong approval” among Republicans has dropped from 73 percent in February, shortly after he took office, to 59 percent now. Overall, 83 percent of Republicans approve of Trump’s performance, with 14 percent disapproving. Notably, there’s erosion in enthusiasm among important subgroups: Trump’s “strong approval” among whites without a college degree — a group that helped propel him to office — dropped 12 percentage points from February. The poll mirrors other recent surveys in finding Trump’s overall approval rating underwater. It comes after a month of setbacks and turmoil for the White House — including the failure to pass an Obamacare repeal in the Senate and the replacement of Trump’s chief of staff. CNN and SSRS conducted the survey to mark the 200-day point of Trump's presidency. Among all respondents, a little more than a third, 38 percent, approve of Trump’s job performance, with 56 percent disapproving. Those who oppose Trump seem to feel more strongly about it, according to the CNN-SSRS poll: 47 percent who disapprove of him said they felt strongly about it, compared with just 24 percent who said they strongly approved of his performance. The poll shows a significant number of Americans don’t trust what they hear from the White House: 30 percent of respondents said they trust nothing the White House says; just 24 percent said they trust all or most of what the White House says. There are some positive indicators for Trump. A little more than 50 percent of those surveyed said they feel things are going well in the country. A narrow plurality — 48 percent to 47 percent — approved of Trump’s performance on national security issues. The CNN-SSRS poll was conducted by telephone Aug. 3-6 and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.6 percentage points. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/07/trump-support-base-republicans-241393

Thank god we have the self righteous libs to do our thinking for us and to try and make us smarter ... https://www.adoptuskids.org/meet-the-children/children-in-foster-care/about-the-children"According to the most recent federal data, there are currently more than 400,000 children in foster care in the United States. They range in age from infants to 21 years old (in some states). The average age of a child in foster care is more than 8 years old, and there are slightly more boys than girls." "Each year, approximately 20,000 youth will age out of the foster care system when they turn 18 or 21, or when they finish high school (depending upon the state in which they live.) These children are at increased risk of poor educational outcomes, experiencing homelessness, and being unemployed." "Of the 400,000 children in foster care, more than 100,000 of them are waiting to be adopted." So when are you going to adopt?

All the polls did, but what does that have to do with Trumps abysmal numbers and him losing support in his own party? Do you honestly think all the polls are lying to support an agenda? If so, you need to take off the tin foil hat and take a sip of reality. Sure, polls can be wrong but they are the best measure we have on things like this. The fact that the polls got it wrong on election night had more to do with the electoral college system than anything else, remember Hillary had 3 MILLION more votes. But twist that anyway you can to fit your agenda. End of the day, Trump is losing, he is/was/always has been inept. And you believe in a loser, so what does that make you? Terrible reality to face without scapegoating or making up excuses huh?

Yes and they should be punished for the rest of their lives by struggling to raise a child while they themselves are borderline children with no work experience or training. That'll teach them a good life lesson. And the child they raise will obviously be raised in such stability it surely will have a great life plan in its teens too. Utopia achieved! So you prefer that instead of teaching our kids that there are consequences for their actions, and they need to do the mature thing and be responsible for their actions. You would rather teach them that it's perfectly fine to murder somebody if it makes your life easier. You teach a child a lesson of consequences when they throw a ball through the neighbor's windshield and you make them knock on the door to confess and tell the neighbor they'll pay for it with their allowance money. Not by having your child have a child then struggle to raise it. Not only is this a crazy notion in my mind, it's child abuse x2. I'm done with this conversation. We all have our opinions. No one is going to change. I want people to have the choice. You don't feel it's morally correct for you. I'd encourage you to never have an abortion. I'm fine with leaving it there.

Dolt? I'm a dolt? Dude you can't use there, they're, and their correctly. You don't know the difference between too, to, and two. Your spelling is atrocious and your grammar non existent. But I'm a dolt? Good god you are a joke of a human. I'm glad to have you be done with me.

If so, you need to take off the tin foil hat and take a sip of reality. My point was the polls were wrong then ... and not just by a little .... guess that point was way to simple for u ... *L* Sure, polls can be wrong but they are the best measure we have on things like this. The fact that the polls got it wrong on election night had more to do with the electoral college system than anything else, remember Hillary had 3 MILLION more votes. But twist that anyway you can to fit your agenda. I have never tried to spin it .. he lost the popular vote ... I'm not an idiot and try to argue or spin the FACTS ... BUT THE FACT IS ... he won the election .. and if u notice ... the polls i used in my example were ELECTORAL COLLEGE NUMBERS not the popular vote numbers ... Change the subject .. its what u guys always do ... when the FACTS don't go your way ... SPINMASTERS .... End of the day, Trump is losing, he is/was/always has been inept. And you believe in a loser, so what does that make you? Terrible reality to face without scapegoating or making up excuses huh? No .. the terrible reality is for ALL OF US ... we all lose ... Your OK with being 20 trillion in debt and it rising everyday ... Your ok with open borders and letting anyone in our country ... Your ok with illegals and refugees raping and killing americans on what seems like a daily basis (and for an alledged bleeding heart liberal .. where's the COMPASSION FOR AMERICANS .. ) YOUR OK WITH JOBS leaving the country on a daily basis ... I'll play like u for one line .. IF U PAY TAXES AT ALL and aren't living off the governments teet your OK with taxes spiraling out of control to support illegals, refugees and americans that are just gaming the system ... were not getting enough welfare lets have another kid ... wooohooo ... I'm not going to be made to feel bad because i want a country with actual borders and LAWS that are enforced ... or because i don't want to leave our children in a country that's beyond broke and full of people that want to kill them for no other reason than there americans .. I'd vote for trump again tomorrow .... Given the circumstances ... him vs basically the media, dems, repubs and the world ... I think hes doing a great job ... and i am PEED at him for multiple things hes done or hasn't done ...

No it was a quick response. An emotional response for sure stemming from my hatred of your stances on most things. Your general low intellect. Your inability to use the English language in written form. The list could go on. Much as I'm sure you despise me for a litany of reasons. List them if you wish. I'm done with this part of our dialog. You and I will never see eye to eye. I chose to move on. Please do the same.

Good news though, most Americans think the economy is doing better. Thanks mostly to Obama, but Trump get some credit too.

J/C...man, if this didn't just devolve into more fecal flinging...I thought we had a good discussion going there for a little bit.

Child abuse LMFAO, child abuse is teaching your children that it's OK to murder babies. That IS child abuse to the 10th degree.
Look around the NFL, hell look around the USA. There are millions of children that were raised in a single parent household who are thriving. There are millions of woman who are so glad they didn't murder their own children because they love them so much that they can't imagine life without them. Since when did a little hardship in a persons life doom them to a ruined life?
[quote]I'm done with this conversation. We all have our opinions. No one is going to change. Yes we all have our own opinions and we all think ours is right. (this includes both me and you) I want people to have the choice. Great so do I. Including the Dad and the Baby. Just what do you have against their rights? You don't feel it's morally correct for you. I'd encourage you to never have an abortion. I assure you I won't LOL Trust me I try to get my wife to knock me up every chance I get but just like Yukon Cornelius
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.
