Congratulations Cleveland Browns on your win. Unfortunately my season ended last night. I will NEVER attend a sporting event where the draft dodging millionaire athletes disrespect the veterans who earned them the right to be on that field. Shame on you all. This story is growing legs across the Nation so I think it needs to be addressed here as it is our beloved team.

I for one am saddened by the incident.

the judge's comments were stupid. i'm glad there was unity amongst the players to do what they did, and i am proud to be part of the dawgpound.

What exactly is the message they are meaning to send?

Well the fact that there is no draft to dodge and the fact he probably voted for a real draft dodger kind of lessens his message.

My guess is the guy voted for a REAL draft dodger for president...but those pesky 21-25 year old draft dodging football players were offensive.

The man is certainly entitled to his opinion..as are others who were offended by the Browns actions.

Is the story growing legs....no. In another few days, the Browns "protest" will be simply a footnote in other stories.

Kaep is the story that just keeps rolling because everytime a team signs a QB, people are crying "racism!" I think Joe Thomas nailed the Kaep situation....Kaep comes with baggage and hassle. And you don't want to deal with that out of your backup QB.

Well I have been watching this story go from the Sports world to National News in just the last few days. Now they are showing video of the players. I say it is growing and has grown legs.

This is not Kaeperdink, he wore socks saying something like kill the pigs and such.

My main concern is with my team and will this prove to be a distraction that brings us down.

I would still like to know what message they are trying to send.

If they were kneeling in prayer then they should publicize it as such. It would be a positive message. So I dont understand why they dont speak up.

I don't think so as it is more about life than about football.

Yes, that would be great if they felt the Country needed Prayer at that moment more than it needed singing of the Anthem.

I would be thrilled to hold on to that thought.

It sure seems a lot of problems could be avoided if they would just play the anthem while the players are still in the locker room.

I know that this will probably be ridiculed by guys like Perfect, CHS, Swish, DNC, etc................but....

I will never forget the pride I felt while standing during the National Anthem as a player and a coach. It was something I always looked forward to.

I remember sticking my chest out and putting my chin up in a a show of pride that my team was actually being honored and respected w/the playing of the National Anthem while at the same time we were honoring a country that provided us such a great opportunity.
