If the FBI arrests you in Colorado for a crime and you have a joint in your pocket, you get arrested for that too.
The Law allows for the Federal Government's FBI, Marshals, ATF, and DEA to come into Colorado and confiscate all the weed in all the stores, board up those stores and arrest everyone working in or owning those stores as drug dealers.
If they meet organized resistance, say from the Governor and State Police, they can request the National Guard to be Federalized by the President to join them in their efforts.
That's Murican Law.

And your point is?
Is Trump going to incite another civil war? The taxes being generated is enough for a state to thumb their nose at the feds and tell them to shut-up and take their cut. So far the feds have shut-up. I don’t really see that changing.

Mayhaps Mayhaps not.
It is really up to the Federal Government.
States do not have the Right to break Federal Law.

Again, you’re suggesting a right which is often different than a reality.

Again, you’re suggesting a right which is often different than a reality. And your reality only stands as long as the Federal Government takes no action against it. If they ever change their minds, we will be discussing a new reality. That is their Right.

If they ever change their minds, we will be discussing a new reality. That is their Right. It’s not a right granted by the bill of rights. It’s a law, a law they are choosing to ignore. They are choosing to ignore it because they are weak and unwilling to take on the vote of the people of that particular state.

They are choosing to ignore it because they are weak and unwilling to take on the vote of the people of that particular state. Let me put it this way for you... The law that applies to situations where state and federal laws disagree is called the supremacy clause, which is part of article VI of the Constitution. The supremacy clause contains what's known as the doctrine of pre-emption, which says that the federal government wins in the case of conflicting legislation. So if the feds say we are coming for your weed, your weed is theirs as it is their Right under the Law.

The law makes no difference if you’re unwilling to enforce it. That’s the point of this.

They came for peoples weed for generations before it was legal anywhere. They still didn't get the weed.

Looks like we’re heading toward a California vs ICE stand off. During the Civil War they called it Secession. I think it would be funny if California split off to form it's own state. Then within 5 years, all the "legal" illegal immigrants that came over will have a voting majority and vote to annex California back into Mexico.

I agree and my opinion on this subject is for the Feds to do nothing but sit back and allow the rest of the Nation watch California go down the tubes with their rising debt and insane Liberal/Progressive Policies.

Not to mention if California leaves the Union, so do their Electoral Votes... the GOP would have a lock on the Presidency for a generation at least. Personally, I'm all for Secession. If a State wants to opt out, go for it. We may be better off in long run by splitting up... say in to 4 or 5 "countries".

We already have a system for division in our nation they are referred to as states. The problem is that the Federal Govt wants more authority than the founders and Constitution provides. If the feds stuck to the enumerated powers granted to the Federal Govt then the states would be more free to run their states' business according to the wishes of their citizens. That is after all what the various states are ultimately complaining about. Why someone in California wants to restrict someone else's ventures in Georgia is foolish and unnecessary. Just as Georgia should not be concerned with California unless it violates a person's rights in Georgia.

But that would require a much longer wall up the west coast, but hey, we would have the votes with California gone.

And we all know what blows directly up the conservative skirt more than anything else, and that's oil.
