... or you can treat everybody who disagrees with you like they are an idiot and with insults.... When 40 first came to this board, this is exactly how he was treated by none other than PDR. Everybody gets insulted and treated like an idiot sometimes.. you still have the option of how you respond.

Everybody gets insulted and treated like an idiot sometimes.. you still have the option of how you respond. And therein lies the rub. I remember from back in the day, when PDR was taking a break from chewing my arse, he had some of the most educated, informative and eloquently written posts, among the best I have ever read. Blocking him denies me the ability to read and enjoy those posts. It is my hope he returns to that posting style for a few reasons... -They were informative. -They were enjoyable. -They were something he had a unique gift in doing. -Those kind of posts would allow us to experience PDR and not have to worry about his recovery. -And finally, perhaps, they would get Clem's juices flowing once again as he has recently reverted to speaking mostly in Grunts, Pops and Clicks. These are my opinions on the matter and I am allowed to have them, in spite of your bad selves.

And therein lies the rub.

Never tried to deny anybody their own opinion.. but it is MY opinion.. that had you started with ^this^.. instead of, we used to fight, you were on drugs, that explains it... most of this conversation could have been avoided.

Addictions and addicts come in all shapes and sizes. "Drug addict" shouldn't be a weaponized insult.

Fair enough. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Our issues were always tied to ideology, and how they were expressed. From my perspective, if you expressed something similar to what I did in terms of personal demons, I wouldn't tie it to past animosity or argument in any way shape or form. Good to hear from you, 40.

I have had family and friends struggle with addiction.
Some made it, some didn't.
That is where my personal demons lie.
