Over the Browns ~ 67 years in the NFL, no team has consistently dominated the Browns like the Detroit Lions.

Go figure.

Not Denver, Not Pittsburgh Not Oakland (Raiders)

The Browns are 4-15 against Detroit regular season.

4 wins in the last 67 years.(not counting 1-3 in postseason)

That’s an average of 1 win every ~16 years.

This has gotta be a good sign. We're overdue.

You could argue Denver. But we have beaten Denver 5 times in the last 47 years (we didn’t first play Denver until 1970). Or 1 win every ~ 9 years.

I thought the Browns, were their own worst enemy.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I agree. We always lose to the Lions.

Maybe this is the trap game.

How long has it been since we managed to overcome our own lousy play? We have to beat us, the zebras, and then the other team. Long odds, indeed!

Let's just go win one. Just to get that monkey off our back.

Play ball!

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

This game is winnable. The Lions are 1-3 at home and can't run the ball. They only average 1 to 2 yards per carry. Plus they are having trouble scoring TDs in the red zone and are settling for FGs instead.

T.J. Lang may not play. The Browns can win if they shut down the Lions passing game and pressure Stafford.

The Lions are known for losing to teams they should beat. No one in Detroit is giving the Browns a chance and think this is an automatic win for the Lions. I'm not so sure. This could be an upset that most people are not expecting.

It's more winnable than most of our other games but until we prove we can win, it's hard to imagine any of them as actually winnable.. though I agree, I don't think we will go 0-16... but when/if we win one, it will be somewhat of a surprise.

I would agree. The whole NFL world sees us as a train wreck, especially after the bye week and non-trade incident. There would be no bigger surprise than winning this game.

Talk about ironies!

So get this:

The season the Lions went "winless" (2008), THEY BEAT THE BROWNS!!!

In the preseason.

In fact the Lions went 4-0 in the 2008 preseason before following it up going 0-16 in the regular season.

Wait. That sounds familiar.

Uh oh.

That's eerie, twilight zone music playing. A lot of Metro Detroit Browns Backers will be at the game, including me.

I'm not saying we can't win, but the fact that Detroit doesn't run the ball well might not be to our advantage. Our pass defense is weak and might get really taken advantage of if Detroit throws it a lot.

I see this game as being a fairly easy win for Detroit.

Stafford will pick the secondary apart with Tate and Jones Jr. Theo Riddick could have a big day pass catching as well.

Lions - 27

Browns - 10

I agree ...

I don’t see how Lang could play ... he just got in the concussion protocol yesterday ... would be STUNNED if he gets cleared ..

Add to that their coming off a Monday night game ... were getting MG back for sure ... hopefully McCourty also ...

We’ve had 2 weeks to game plan for them ..

We could win this one ...

Don’t worry about Pit .. hes just being a negative Nancy and thinks cause were 0 - 8 we will never win ...

Can't run the ball and give up on average 3.2 Sacks per game - that screams of them having a poor OLine; we should be able to get good pressure in Stafford's face all game and that should help our secondary quite a bit.

Might not happen, but wouldn't it be something if we finished the season 8-8 after the bye week, hope is all I have to hang onto at this point, I BELIEVE, DO YOU?

I usually really like watching Matt Stafford play. He can make any throw from any arm slot - great "arm talent" QB. I have a feeling I'm not going to like watching him so much this week because I think he might torch the Browns secondary. NFC North might not be the best division in the league but they had some great arms at QB for a long time between Rodgers, Stafford, and Cutler.

If you mean against a team that's playing .500 ball and actually has a legit QB., you're right.

We’ll see Sunday Pit ...

U act like we have zero chance to win ...

Do i think were going to win? .. no .. i’m not a moron ...

Do i think we have a chance ... ABSOLUTELY ....

For u to dismiss us having any shot of winning against a very beatable Lions team because we haven’t won yet is just BS and quite frankly MORONIC ... this isn’t the Iggles were playing ....

Your in the running for president of my newest group ... the NEGATIVE NANCY CLAN .... rofl

Last I saw, Browns were 12 point dawgs.

In the NFL, historically (and that includes now) 12 point underdawgs win:

3.33% * 12 = 40%
40% + 50% = 90% (times a 12 point favorite wins)

12 point underdawgs win 10% of the time.

But of course that's the Observable Universe.

Which theoretically includes the Browns.

But that's only a theory.

Well I guess you have to put everyone in a box or a group. Labeling people is so much fun. Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks?

I'll give you the line since you seem to enjoy blowing hot air. Hot air is free. lmao

PM me since you think it's worth throwing crap over. I'll give you the line and you can back up some of that hot air. lol

10% chance is about what I give us each week to be honest, maybe sometimes it's 25% TOPS

Then why don't you bet $1,000 on the Browns to win. Straight-up?

It proves to me that our elementary school's are sorely lagging behind in mathematics and logic.

At least the one you went to.

When it gets close to 25 percent... is there alcohol or drugs involved?

rofl

Just messin'. Me personally I'm watching this game, but I'm real and my expectations are extremely low and so forth. A win would be outright awesome. Also likely outright insane for thinking we can squeeze one of those out.
