I do. He may be a crook, a meddlesome owner or a number of other things but he doesn't strike me as a guy that likes to lose.

Good post.

I agree its a winnable game.
But...the like you pointed out the Bears are a better team then some people realize. They can run the ball. Their defense is solid across the board with the strength being their secondary.

The weakest part of the entire team is their passing game.
Young QB, average WRs and lackluster scheme.

Going in to this game, heck going into every game, I think are best match-ups are Duke vs a LB and Njoku vs any LB or S.
Gordon is a nice size match-up against either CB.

If the run defense is really all its cracked up to be then Greggggg needs to step up and make them 1-dimensional. The Bears field one of the worst receiving units in the league so the Browns secondary will finally face off against an opponent that doesn't have a significant talent match-up advantage.

Kizer needs to play well.
Hue needs to call a good game.
Gregggg D needs to answer the call.

Por favor

I'm coming in spry Sunday. I'm thinking about going to church Sunday morning.

Would it be sacrilegious for me to pop my head in church for 5-15 minutes? Last time I voluntarily went to church on a Sunday was our last playoff game, I'm not a religious individual,

But I will be looking at Jesus for some help on Sunday

Well winning is a cure all.

Right now we haven't won and I see people pretty sick.

One win will be nice for the Christmas holiday but it does not change much for the disappointing season.

Again we got 2018 which is year 3 of the new ERA Sashi has been replaced hopefully Dorsey will get us what we need to turn the corner. Hue gets his last chance.

I guess that makes 2016 & 2017 years 1 & 2 of the new ERA.

No doubt we will play to our strengths: Run a few times, mostly on third and long, pass on first down a lot, hopefully from the shadow of our goal post, give up the big play when we can least afford to, and most importantly, gas our D so we fold in the fourth quarter. I like our chances.

...and Tabor must control Tarik Cohen on returns. Watch out: this is where we may lose the game. One other poster (sorry, I forget who) mentioned this previously.

A quick score for us MIGHT have Hue run the ball a bunch... which greatly increases our chances.

Anyone have the story on the Bears defense?

We will not win as long as our cornerbacks continue to play 10 yards off the line of scrimmage.

Williams, for once, has to cover the short game. Trubisky will happily dink and dunk all day. Actually forcing him to hold the ball, go through progressions and make tight window throws downfield is where he struggles. For once, Williams has to stop playing 95% of the defense snaps at least 60 yards away from the line of scrimmage.

I've watched a few of the bear games, living in NFC north territory.

If they continue this same trend of defense, Trubisky will put up 300 yds, and we will lose. I take my chances with tight pressure defense. You just can't let Trub beat us with open short passes.

So, Baltimore takes a step closer to the playoffs

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Jacksonville is 10 - 4 .. and swept the AFC North .. They haven't been the best chance for anyone to get a win this year .. much less the Browns.

I have a feeling we win today. The hero? Danny Vitale, #40, Fullback, gets 11 yards rushing on 3 attempts, and 3 TDs. Return of the White Rhino.

Brown’s gear, the new threat you give to kids to keep them off the naughty list.

I've worn Browns gear for decades. I have not even thought about putting on a Browns hat all year. Just people knowing I'm a die hard fan is embarrassing enough.

no way I watch the beat down they will take next week. I can not stand watching Steeler players laughing at this disaster of a team.

My optimism has been broken. I will never give this team the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Haslam firing everybody after two years has made it almost impossible to do again. But, IMO, they need to let Dorsey hire a staff, and be done with Jackson and Williams. This record is inexcusable, even with this weak roster.

There is a quick fix. And why does Peppers take himself even more out of position pre-rotating to sideline? They threw behind him into a huge hole!
