I hope Georgia gets another chance at this, but I think the game is over right now. They’re so deep in Georgia’s head.

They were #1 all season long. They just showed why they belong....the #4 seed wins it all. Hard to say they didn't belong. No?? But then, who really thought them the #4 seed? They got it right to include Alabama. The proof is in the pudding.

I wanted Georgia, but am still happy. Go SEC. Pretty impressive for Bama, the best college program of all-time.

SEC, SEC. It's good to live in the south.

Georgia football, finding new ways to choke in title games.

Wow.

And you sound overly protective of your SEC.

Georgia has them down 20-7 late in the 3rd quarter. They could have iced the game a few times. They blew it.

Heck, they had the Tide at 2nd and 26 from the 41 and give up a bomb to a rookie QB when they knew Bama is playing for a TD after their kicker gagged on the regulation kick.

Chokejob.

Whatever.

It's good to be a SEC fan. Especially when you can't lose.

I’m not bashing the SEC. I didn’t care it was an SEC title game, I was excited to watch. I’m no Big10 fan either. I root for Toledo.

If that had happened to OSU, Toledo or any other team, I’m calling it a choke too.

They had it. That 3-and-out where they ran two wildcat plays, awful. That one possession where they were in FG range then took a sack, horrible. If you’re Georgia and you’re living in the shadow of Bama, Auburn and LSU and also carrying that Falcons collapse in the Super Bowl, that had to have hurt. It was theirs.

That’s cool you’re an SEC football fan, I get it. I’m not mocking you or calling that lame. However, that was a gag by the Bulldogs. That’s all I’m saying.

Alabama was #1 all season long because they were ranked that way before any games were played.

They did absolutely nothing to be the top team in the nation, at any point in the year.

No wins in the top 5, 10, or 15. No conference title.

And yes, that was an absolute chokejob by Georgia.

Great game though, exciting to the end.

I do find it funny that you're on here honking the SEC, but when OSU took down the SEC and the rest of college football you were nowhere to be found on these forums.

No, they didn't get it right. Alabama still had no business being there. Just because they won doesn't mean they belong. But I'm sure a lot of people will justify it as such.

Alabama should've been in there. I'm not sure Oklahoma, Georgia or Clemson should've jumped UCF however.

If that's how you feel the system is flawed. Alabama didn't even participate in their conference title game. The team they lost to lost to UCF.

I didn't want Ohio State in there that's why I wanted Wisconsin to win the big ten title game. That would have kept Alabama out. I agree with Alabama over Ohio State. But UCF should have been there over Alabama. Unfortunately, it's not about what's right it's about money.

Alabama has had the number #1 recruiting class in all of the last four years. To think that they had a drop off from last year is insane. Anyone could see with the eye test that they were one of the best four teams. They lost to Auburn, but who cares? Georgia lost to Auburn and they got the #1 seed. The question is why did the SEC have two teams in there?

Ohio State should definitely not gone to the bowl game. But should Oklahoma have made it over UCF either? It's hard to say. Ohio State played very badly in a lot of games last year.

All I know is that UCF should've been in the playoffs this year. But clearly they should not have replaced Bama.

Like I said, if that's how you feel the system is flawed. I think Ohio State in there last year over Penn State was a bunch of BS too. Sadly, It's all driven by money.

I'm not denying Alabama is a good team. They just shouldn't have been there... they were also the 4 seed in the playoffs.

That isn't true. I talked about the SEC being down and the Big 10 really stepping up, how they were the top conference this year. **Actually, it was in a reply to you earlier in this thread.

OSU was a really good team. I can't explain the Iowa loss, I don't know anybody can. Had it not been for that, they possibly, it not probably get in over Bama

In a nutshell, yes. They are the team who came out of the playoffs on top, so hard to say they should not have been there.

I've had the SEC network running all morning and at one part in last night's postgame broadcast, Minkah Fitzpatrick comes up to the stage and Tebow tells him he should skip his final year and go help the Browns. Minkah had a straight face the entire time, but it was some great sports television.
