This was the best fit at WR for the Browns out there. Dorsey starts out on a good note.

Two reasons #Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry wanted to go to the #Browns: 1. They’ll re-do his deal. 2. They have a QB. … and they will.

Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry, Terrelle Pryor, and Corey Coleman?
We need to see what Landry is going to get paid, but that is not bad (and I am not the biggest Landry fan).

Any guesses on compensation? I'm guessing one of our second rounders. No clue on the 2019 pick.

It'll be interesting to see what we traded. I'll assume it was our last 2nd rounder (#64) plus a conditional pick in 2019.

Any guesses on compensation? Hopefully two 4ths, but I'd guess more like a 3 this year and a 4 next year?

Why would people keep posting false information, if you DON'T KNOW what picks the Browns gave up, then just don't post anything.
I can guess too, but it doesn't make it fact!

Great addition to the team. A proven talent and excellent possession receiver that should help out the rookie QB a great deal.

Could this possibly mean the end of Josh Gordon in Cleveland?

We need to see what Landry is going to get paid, but that is not bad (and I am not the biggest Landry fan). Are you kiddin, quit dreaming. Josh Gordon has been susp. twice as long as he's been active. Terrelle Pryor is not on this team, currently. And Corey Coleman has already had newspaper reports about him not staying. So nothing is firm until the dust settles, and the Browns have a history of dropping somebody for everybody they pick up, so i'll take a wait and see. Winning in April.

Report: Browns acquire Jarvis Landry for two draft picksAccording to multiple reports, the Browns have added one of the best wide receivers in free agency, a three-time Pro Bowler. "Neither of the picks in Jarvis Landry trade are a first- or second-round picks, per sources. So it will be two picks between rounds 3 and 7." Schefter OBR Front Page

Soooooo, 2 third round picks? That also sounds about right to me.
Ha, nevernind, totally flaked on the fact that we have 64 and 65. So it's a essentially a 2/3 this year

j/c... Ian Rapoport @RapSheet Verified account The #Browns assume the $16M, one-year contract for Jarvis Landry, and the two sides have not included a long-term extension as part of this deal. They will likely talk, but Landry could also simply play on the 1-year deal, see how Todd Haley uses him, and cash in next offseason Tweet

If we give up 2 picks that are thirds or later, I think that's pretty fair and works for me.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Good trade. I am not as big a Landry fan as others, but he is a solid pro with good hands. It will be interested to see how the extension is structured.

This is a great pick up. Could they be poised to grab a top FA QB? Just speculating. But Him and Gordon is a pretty scary duo. Haley got to be licking his chops.
If they land Cousins, I would flip.

Man, if only Gordon can stay clean an entire summer. Our WR core suddenly looks interesting.

Man, if only Gordon can stay clean an entire summer. Our WR core suddenly looks interesting. Bring on Jordan Matthews or Terrelle Pryor and we'll be loaded. But even if we don't, Landry has been successful on the outside as well. From what I've heard, he was just asked last year to do the work inside. We could see a lot of Gordon, Landry, Njoku, and DeValve on the field next year. Not a bad foursome. Especially if Haley gets these guys to block
