Among the teams trying to sign WR Terrelle Pryor: Rams, 49ers, Browns @nflnetwork @AroundTheNFL

I wish that Silver didn't write our team name in last

Pryor is the one final guy i'd really like to bring in here from FA. After that, I can cool down and go back to spending my time playing videogames

Vers was battling everyone but was starting to cool off. Diam was just his usual grumpy self. I don't recall him saying anything ban-worthy lately (I also avoided the political forums most of the time, so...).

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Hope not. Diam disappears from time to time. Vers dont remember a big deal going on but who knows. There were big deals that went on prior to FA. TT, Landry and a FS...FA seemed to be fillers for us. Nothing big time. Wonder if we go for Mathieu but he is a SS if I recollect. Pelpers is penciled in there???

Solder went to Giants who never had a good LT. Joe Thomas' shoes are too big to fill.

Both appear on the users list, so that means that they are not suspended.

So back to FAs.

What do you all think of the Cousins deal?

Me I hope the Vikings fail miserably. Guaranteed contracts is what ruined Baseball, I dont want to see that for football. Dangerous contract but not bad for maybe the 10th best QB...smh

Anyone know how much we got left in Cap around 50 mil?

I think that the guaranteed contract was a unique contract for a unique situation. As has been stated over and over, franchise QBs don't hit the open market. When they do, the team that gets them has to do something drastic to secure him.

I agree with you, that guaranteed contracts would ruin the NFL. That is why I think that this is just a rare opportunity that Minnesota wasn't willing to pass up.

Per Spotrac a few minutes ago

CLEVELAND BROWNS CAP TOTALS
Dead Cap:
$13,643,719
Draft Pool Cap:
$17,666,393
Est. Cap Space (All):
$62,970,669
Est. Cap Space (Top 51):
$78,015,669

This does not include:
Hyde (est 5m)
Hubbard (est 7.5m)
Mitchell (est 4m)
Cutting Coates (730k I think)

Looks like we have 65m for 2019 at this point. Obviously that will go down when they add Hyde, Hubbard, Mitchell, the draft picks, and Duke's extension - and up again as we release players to get to our final roster.

Dumb Question: Does anyone think we'll go after Pryor? Him and Gordon and Landry, that could be special

Report: Browns, Rams, 49ers interested in Terrelle Pryor

Posted by Curtis Crabtree on March 14, 2018, 11:28 PM EDT

Terrelle Pryor struggled to find consistent playing time last year with the Washington Redskins, but that hasn’t appeared to stop him from garnering decent interest on the free agent market.

According to Mike Silver of the NFL Network, Pryor is getting interest from the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and, his former team, the Cleveland Browns.

Pryor only saw the field for 37 percent of Washington’s offensive snaps last season after signing a one-year deal with the team last March. Josh Doctson, Jamison Crowder and Ryan Grant were the preferred options for Kirk Cousins in Washington’s offense. Pryor caught just 20 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown in nine games for Washington last season.

Pryor had caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and a touchdown in 2016 with Cleveland after making the conversion to receiver from quarterback.

If Todd wasn't interested, then I'm all for this move. He seemed to be very limited last year in a group of underperforming WRs, so it's not shocking... at all.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Suh and Mathieu won't be joining our dysfunctional family at this point in their careers. Heck, Suh has been a Lion and Dolphin, no way he's coming to be a Brown. He'll be joining a team like the Pats, Boys or Eagles.

Pryor is a big maybe. Something tells me his agent will only use us as leverage.

I dunno. If you take a look through his Twitter today, it's pretty ridiculous.

Cleveland Browns fans (myself included) have spear headed a campaign to get this guy back. Christian Kirksey too

I think we might be allowing Pryor to use us to get leverage against other teams.

The only leverage Pryor has is based on what he did last year. Not much. It's a a gamble he took to bet on himself. He lost that gamble.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
