Huh? Just curious why a RB? Throw Long is Marty Schottenheimer in the 70's. Possibly the 50's.

I think you gotta go get Brown with the first and a running back with the second. Throw longs silly move aside, you have to plug the needs first.
Plenty of good RB’s on the board.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!

#34 and #130 for #50, #82, and #112 Did you mean 34/139 for 50/81/116? I was going to update the spreadsheet (can't sleep at all, dag namit) and the numbers were off.

Any takers for 32? Want to drop down into the second and pick up some picks. Will wait a few hours, hope that is OK.

For 33 & 35, I think we should be looking at CB, RB, and LT.
Jaire Alexander CB Louisville
Derrius Guice RB LSU
Kolton Miller LT UCLA Connor Williams LT Texas

I agree ... those are the targets. Maybe go CB, LT, then Rb
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Oliver has to be included in 33. We've shown the most interest and yes the best man press by far, something we desperately need

Probably not since RoJo just got picked. Sony and Guice will be the only RBs listed in the upcoming poll.

Yes - you are correct. I looked at Walter's and that appears to be incorrect.

Lots of great RBs and CBs left for Round 2. This is why I kind of prefer to take Chubb with the #4 pick. He's just as good as Barkley and Minka, and we should have plenty of Round 2 options available to us to fill those positions.
That said, I wonder how "biased" a mock draft like this might be. Are we all sub-consciously passing on guys we hope might drop to the Browns and taking guys we know the Browns have no interest in?

I was reading some mock trades on CBSsports, and had an interesting thought.
The Browns use #1 on their franchise QB. Trade the #4 overall to the Bills for 12, 22, and a 2019 2nd. Trade with the Saints for #18, whom always seem to trade out of the 1st, giving them our #33, 64 and 114.
This would give us #1, 12, 18, 22, and 35. Yikes! (and would still have a 5th and 2 6ths)
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

If I'm the Saints I'm not going to want to drop from 18 to 33 for picks 64 and 114 regardless how the "math" works out. I have a feeling we're going to be wheeling and dealing come draft day. And I don't know if there's anyone at 4 who is worth picks 12, 18, and 22.

3 shots is worth more than one when the single shot only has a hair high chance of success.

I think we might move up from 33 to grab an OT
So we’d end up with Darnold Chubb and McGlinchey and then take RB at 35

I'm going to be gone for a few hours (approx 2-5 eastern time), I just PMd you my board in case the Colts come up at 36/37. Sorry if we fly and get to 43, I'm not ready for that yet

Not a bad haul...but I think our days of Quantity or over....time for Quality.
I got a feeling Dorsey is going to want to take Ward unless he's as dumb as an Ox??? Is the kid football intelligent - Ohio State fans? Me I'm in love with Barkley but I got a good feeling that Dorsey is going Ward.
Did we come to a decision on 33...my computer is up and running on line again. So looking to make that pick.

Not a bad haul...but I think our days of Quantity or over....time for Quality. Yes, but in the scenario presented I think this is a deal for quality. What picks net better quality over quantity? A) 1, 4, 33, 35, 64, 114, 150, 175, 188 or B) 1, 12, 18, 22, 35, 150, 175, 188 I think it's B all day long and not close.

I'm ending the poll. Eo, being a good human being, sent me his choice earlier today. The Browns will again be on the clock. However, I'm going to call this next pick with no vote. I'm going to select Isaiah Oliver for the Browns at #35 as he received more votes in the CB poll that was running concurrent with the #33 poll. If you want Jaire Alexander for this pick and want to fight me for choosing Oliver, then I understand as I too want Jaire and will help you kick my own butt like that fight club scene.

That's fine but I don't think we would pick 2 CB's at 33/35

Actually, I'd be okay with CBs at both 33 and 35. There's RBs up the wazoo in this draft, plus we did sign Hyde.
