Yeah, but when it comes to RB's, there's only one ball. You can use up to 6-7 DB's on Defense, plus they are very productive on kick and punt coverage.

Guice won't be there for you at 33, and if Jaire is, you should pick Jaire.

You can't wait on Rb's any more than you can wait on Quarterbacks, all this thinking that they will be there later in the draft always leads to watching other teams get the player you wanted.

And didn't even have to trade up.

All this trash talk about my choice of a pick comes from a board that endorsed the pick of a pass rusher #1 last year, and wished for another #4 overall.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I agree ... if Jaire is there at 33 we run to the podium

This would give us #1, 12, 18, 22, and 35. Yikes! (and would still have a 5th and 2 6ths)

Not to be a stick in the mud, but Seattle has 18, not New Orleans. There has been some rumors that we have talked to Seattle about trading down... so maybe you meant that. But I also see the Saints trading out of 28, so that could be another potential spot to trade up from 35 to get a player that is slipping that we covet.

I hadn't heard those. If they want to send us #18 and Earl Thomas, I'd be more than happy to give them #4...lol

Looks like their biggest needs are RT, WR, MLB, OLB, DT. Everyone ranks differently, but NFL.com's top players available at those positions are:

Jamarco Jones, OT
Antonio Callaway, WR
Tegray Scales, MLB
Darius Leonard, OLB
Tim Settle, DT

Miami selects CB Jaire Alexander ... there's no way he's still there in real life

Jay's reaction last year when Desean and Garcon weren't brought back:

I promised Jay that I would make it right.

With DJ Chark we land the #1 WR on our draft board. In addition to the missing vertical speed element he also adds a height dimension that has been missing.

Philly picks arguably best potential LT prospect to replace Peters in a year’s time. Like Peters, O’Neill is a converted receiver / TE.

Pm sent to vadawg07,

I would have taken O'Niell with the very next pick. Was somewhat torn between him and Jamarco Jones but I guess the decision was made for me.

if we want to speed this thing up, I believe 442 was the guy who held up last round w/the ravens

He is usually active around this time. The strange thing is, is that he hasn't checked any of his messages despite being active on the forum. 442, if you're reading this, the inbox picture is in the header right next to the "Links" link.

Replace me if you'd like. Sometimes things come up and we're not able to honor a message board commitment. However, as you can see, I made my second round pick pretty quickly.

And I do believe I apologized for missing my first pick.

I think it is time to start thinking about pick 64.

My thought would be LT or WR unless someone is slipping.

Some thoughts...

Tim Settle, DT
Jessie Bates, FS
Desmond Harrison, OT
Deon Cain, WR
Dante Pettis, WR
Mike Gesicki, TE

Settle I think would be perfect in our D (and will go earlier thatn 64 in reality), but I get why people wouldn't want to add another defensive lineman. Bates is the best FS still available, arguably. I don't think there's an LT prospect left that is worthy of 64, but this guy if his head is on straight might be. Cain and Pettis are my favorite WR left, but I think the dropoff between these guys and what we could get in the 4th isn't that significant. Gesicki would be interesting - another receiving weapon.

BPA is probably Gesicki (TE), Hughes (CB), Settle (DT), or Green (DE).

Guys, I won't be able to go any further with the Saints. I am actually about to make a trip up to Ohio. I thought this would be faster. The Saints don't have any more picks until the 3rd, but I wont be able to do them. Sorry for that.
