What...in the name of all that is good about Chipotle has that monster Tony Romo done to Jessica Simpson???

Recent shots of Ms. Simpson at a concert. Only way I can explain this is that she's taken further bad movie advice from her father and is plumping up for the Anna Nicole story, as she begins to resemble the transformation. I will prefer to remember her from this classic thread back in '06, and pray for her to look up to Britney Spears as an example of how to put yourself back together again.

Jessica has never done anything much for me.

She looks bad in those pics. Never thought she ever looked bad, but after eying those pics, I may have to change my stance.

I think part of it in those pics is her pants. I've never been a big fan of the high rise pants on women.

Curves > twigs, yes. But you don't have to be "thick" to have curves. I've seen plenty of women who are thin or average size with plenty of curves. I'll make exceptions, though. There is someone where I work at that is a twig, but is absolutely drop dead gorgeous.

Just an observation about her weight gain...

I remember seeing a pic of her with Nick Lachey right before her divorce, and she was terribly thin at the time...in fact, she had said that it was the thinnest that she's ever been in her lifetime. She was on a starvation type of diet, and working out 7 days a week.

Anyways, I'm thinking that MAYBE her weight gain has to do with the fact that she's in a happy relationship. I know it was that way for me during the last several years of my marriage...I was terribly unhappy, and I dropped down to 113 lbs (and I'm 5'7). I guess you can say that it's a way of having some control in your life, when you feel like your life is out of control, if that makes any sense.

It could also be that she just decided to stop dieting and exercising so much, because after a while that gets REAL old. Maybe she's hoping that people will like her because of her music and not her body (I say good luck with that <img src="/images/graemlins/rolleyes_devil.gif" alt="" />).

I was going to make the same comment you did in parenthesis. Her career is DEFINED by her looks, which were surgically altered to begin with. Most of her males fans could watch her movies or videos on mute and not notice a difference.

Ah, give poor ashlee a break. She's living off her sisters name and looks, and I feel she may be worried that if Jessica gets any bigger, than she herself may have to actually start singing. And she can't do that, as we all know.
