I would be happy if they were bound and gagged and dumped in Mexico with a note pinned to them stating that they are seeking asylum because America no longer wants them.
shocked. you sound like 40, diam, propaganda V... get in line for your lobotomy.

Why? Is it because you resemble this Maxine Waters extremist?
I'm sure terrorists thought Bin Laden was a decent human being also.
You would be because you are acting ridiculous. Waters is fighting this administration that kidnapped 4000+ kids at the border and is hiding them all throughout the US. They are doing this in as secret a way as possible because they know 'we the people' won't stand for it.
Waters is fighting these people. You are siding with them. That's who you are.

Maxine is a cow doing this for political gain and publicity and can't care less about actual causes.
She most likely will be voted out for her extremist hateful unhinged views. Nobody wants an unstable person like her in a position of power.

Yet you side with those who defend Trump? Don't make me call you out on the hypocrisy of your stance. Talk about #unhinged...

Except that I'm not defending Trump. I'm calling out This chick as being a wack job. She is a wack job on her own merits of being nuts.
I can respect your opinion, but when you use 'unhinged' (the right's new attack word) and then do very little to understand, or should I say demonstrate why what she is doing is so wrong in your eyes, then I have to look at you as just another Trumpian Warthog wallowing in the mud and crap while rooting for trump crumbs to sustain your low self esteem.
I know this is wrong when it comes to YOU, but right now you are not showing me that. I say this honestly and with no malice toward you at all and I think you know that.
Anyone find it weird that a libertarian invited the federal government into a court case while Mad Maxine just told the deranged cons who threatened to kill her and her family, that they better shoot straight. I'm glad one is handling the situation like a boss, while the other is crying to Big Brother like a sissy.

And the very far right thinks it would win a civil war, out numbered by millions.

The weird Breitbart grandpa crowd losing it over Maxine Waters is the natural progression from losing it over David Hogg.
Trump is an arse.. you cannot simultaneously get all mad and call him an arse, while acting just like him... Maxine is also an arse.. and Maxine was an arse long before Trump was involved in politics..
I won't even attempt to dispute anything you said. I'm not a fan of either one of them. Two polar opposites both at extreme ends of the spectrum.
However, one called people to confront those they oppose while one spoke directly of violence towards people they oppose. I believe there is a distinction there.
The outrage of either side without looking in their own back yard is a bit disingenuous.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
NBC News star Andrea Mitchell is under fire for citing the wrong law when attempting to attack the White House amid its Twitter feud with Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris.
On Monday, the White House targeted Harris and Warren individually on Twitter, accusing Harris of “supporting the animals of MS-13” and Warren of “supporting criminals moving weapons, drugs and victims across our nation’s borders.”
Mitchell attempted to defend the Democratic leaders, but it didn’t go so well.
“Re: White House tweets attacking Senators: Section 1352(a) of Title 31: No part of the money appropriated by any enactment of Congress shall ... be used directly or indirectly to pay for any ... written matter ... intended or designed to influence in any manner a Member of Congress,” the NBC star tweeted.
Law & Crime reporter Ronn Blitzer wrote that the statute Mitchell named has “nothing to do” with the situation and “doesn’t even include the language she quoted.”
Former Office of Government Ethics Director Walter Shaub responded to Mitchell’s tweet on Tuesday morning.
“The text of that tweet comes from 18 USC 1913, not 31 USC 1352. And 1913 has been interpreted too narrowly to be useful here,” Shaub wrote.
Blitzer wrote that Shaub “is by no means a fan of the current administration,” but pointed out that the former ethics chief noted “the language Mitchell quoted didn’t match the law she cited.” But “even the correct law didn’t apply, didn’t mean anything in this situation.”
In addition to Blitzer and Shaub, many critics took to Twitter to call out the NBC veteran for spreading dishonest information.
Last month, Mitchell got roasted on Twitter when her own tweet exposed her rooting interest in the dust-up between Trump and the Philadelphia Eagles. After Trump canceled a White House visit from the Super Bowl champs, the Peacock Network's chief foreign affairs correspondent reacted with the cheerleading message, “Fly #Eagles Fly!!!”
Mitchell's hot take stood out because she is supposed to be a nonpartisan reporter for a major network news division. It was far from the first time that she has been accused of openly leaning left.
Mitchell, who is married to former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, and Hillary Clinton are known to be close friends who have publicly praised each other. Mitchell said that Clinton “proved her commander-in-chief bona fides in terms of being tough as a gender issue” during the pregame show for an NBC News town hall event in 2016.
"I love you, Andrea. You are indefatigable. You’re my kind of woman,” Clinton said, while pointing at Mitchell during a 2016 press conference on the campaign trail.
Trump has referred to Mitchell as “Hillary Clinton's PR person,” and White House social media director Dan Scavino once said she was a Democratic "PR person," too.
Earlier this year, the NBC News veteran was criticized for publicly offering advice to FBI official Andrew McCabe after he was fired by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
NBC News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
However, one called people to confront those they oppose while one spoke directly of violence towards people they oppose. I believe there is a distinction there.
It's a pretty vague distinction based on what you THINK Maxine meant.. what did she mean a year or so ago when she yelled to a cheering crowd "And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take out Trump tonight."
She later said she was talking about impeachment.. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.. but it's not too difficult to see how it could be interpreted as violent..
True. There's also some degree of prosecutorial discretion. I guess we'll see what comes of it.
Regardless, I'm going to have a hard time finding sympathy for the guy.
I have no sympathy for the guy either, clearly he has bought into the hatred the media has pumped into him for many months now and he feels justified in acting in such a way... it's sad really..
By the same token, if the kid was my son, I would advise him to be the bigger person and not press charges. The guy needs help with his anger issues but (assuming he is an otherwise law abiding citizen) he doesn't need something like this on his record..
A video of the incident that was posted to Facebook Wednesday evening quickly went viral, garnering more than 2 million views in a matter of hours. In the video, a man can be witnessed throwing a drink at a teen and ripping his 'Make America Great Again' hat off before yelling some expletives and heading out the door of the fast-food restaurant.
According to the post, that has since been removed, the incident was unprovoked. But the witness, who has asked to remain anonymous, told KENS 5 they saw the three teens involved in the incident making disparaging comments about minorities.

The man who spoke to KENS 5 requested anonymity after he said his family was receiving death threats for speaking out about what they reportedly witnessed. He said he did not see the attack, but he did see an altercation inside of the Whataburger before deciding to leave with his family as things got heated.
He also claimed during the conversation another man in the restaurant asked the group of teens to stop making such comments. That's when he said he cut dinner short and had his family leave the restaurant before things escalated.
KENS 5 was not able to independently verify the witness statements. The account from this witness remains in contrast with the original post from the alleged victim's mother, who claimed the attack was completely unprovoked.
I think there's a lot to this story we don't know about. If these kids were openly fantasizing about killing black people, deporting Mexicans and wishing that "The Purge" was real, you know, committing hate speech and terroristic threats. What would the proper response to this be?
Those on the alt-right say that 'hate speech' is nebulous and doesn't exist. Dave Rubin, Jordan Peterson and their ilk all believe this. It allows them to use "facts" and "logic" to say that women and minorities are dumber than white males (They don't say that specifically, but many of their guests do). Ok, whatever, that's all fine and dandy. However, when you start speaking violently and making vague threats, does freedom of speech still protect you from getting your ass kicked? Should you be legally protected from the consequences of your speech?
If we completely condemn violence, to where every street fight and personal disagreement is punishable by felony, then where do we draw the lines on speech? If I'm vaguely threatening you, or expressing my joy at exterminating your life, should my speech be protected?
Based on this and the value of the hat, it looks to be a misdemeanor.
Either way, sucks for him. It could have been avoided by just acting like a decent human being.
Obviously should be a misdemeanor. And having soda thrown at you is not assault. However, they are charging him with theft of person which is a felony.
