I would think that you would have a right to fight it through the court system.
But since you bring up the abortion law. Many states have created their own laws that restrict, limit and make abortions very hard to get even though the current law grants women the right to abortion.
So I wouldn't be surprised to see some states play that same game with open carry laws. It would still be "legal" just very hard to actually do.
