Pretty uninspiring pickup ... hopefully he's a good ST player

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I agree ... We could just be kicking some tiers here.

Looks like he had a decent season in 2013 but not much since. As said, this pickup is indeed uninspiring.

I was kinda hoping we'd promote Scott from the PS

He had a really good thing going with Raiders for a minute a couple years ago.

Know who should be added to the 53 now that Baker is starting?

Dez Bryant.

We just signed some scrub WR. I don't know why at all but that was Gordon's spot.

let's not forget that Baker had really good chemistry with Willies, Higgins, and Ratley in July/August. Since they are now going to see more playing time with Gordon's exit, it might actually have been a blessing in disguise that Baker got so many reps with them and the 2nd unit.

After last night, and with Gordon gone, Dez may be on the phone with Dorsey really soon.

I know he wanted a team that is capable of winning, and where he could shine, with a QB who can make him look good.

Well ... here's his shot. wink

The Cleveland Browns have signed DL Brian Price to the practice squad. To make room, the team released DL Zaycoven Henderson from the practice squad.

Officially in his second NFL season, Price (6-3, 322) entered the league as an undrafted free agent signed by the Green Bay Packers in 2016. He’s appeared in 10 career games with one start and nine tackles. This season, Price started Week 2 for the Oakland Raiders and registered one tackle after he was claimed by the team via waivers from the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 3. A native of Lafayette, Ind., Price attended Texas-San Antonio.

Henderson was signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent during training camp and was added to the team’s practice squad after final roster cuts.

I really liked Henderson, but he always struck me as more of a 3-4 NT than a 4-3 DT.

We’ve signed LB D'Juan Hines to the active roster off the Los Angeles Chargers’ practice squad. To make room, we’ve waived DL Ifeadi Odenigbo.

Dez would almost certainly be on a one year deal if he came here.

If I had to guess, we'll draft a WR early in next year's draft also.

The Cleveland Browns signed tight end Pharaoh Brown to their practice squad, then subsequently released tight end Pharaoh McKever to make roster space.

Brown, a 6-foot-6 and 258-pound tight end, was raised in Lyndhurst, Ohio. He’s also a Brush High School alum and played college football at Oregon. He totaled 70 receptions for 1,011 yards and 13 touchdowns in 36 games over his four seasons in college.

After going undrafted, Brown was signed by the Oakland Raiders and appeared in two games for the team in 2017. They waived him during final roster cuts this year.

Anyone with his size and experience is a welcome depth addition for the Browns to develop on their practice squad. Brown has excellent ball skills and has the natural power and size to be an effective blocker.

That he’s a native Northeast Ohio guy makes makes it an even more natural fit.

Also of note: the Arizona Cardinals claimed defensive lineman Ifeadi Ogenigbo off waivers from the Browns. Cleveland released him last week to make roster space for new linebacker D’Juan Hines.

WR Rishard Matthews told A to Z Sports that he asked the Titans for his release and he is planning on moving on.
